I had my nails done about two weeks ago with a friend. She has been going there for a few months now and because of her well done nails I decided to give it a try. Yes, it has been two weeks, but as you can see in my last photograph her nails are fully intact and still look great. Starting at week one my nails slowly lifted at the cuticle. None of my nails have broken off, they all lifted cuticle. It is as if they were not prepared properly. When I called to let them know what had happened I was told “A lot of people have not been happy” and that “It has been two weeks hunny.” They also stated that they would fix the four nails that have now lifted off at no cost, but I need to pay for a fill and polish. I have gotten my nails done plenty of times before, I know it is recommended to go every two weeks, but I don't feel this should be happening, nor has it ever happened to me before. Also, this happened while we were at the salon. My friend was given no time to pick her color because they wanted her to sit immediately and she told her nail tech that she had not yet found a color. When I arrived I gave her the sample nails with all of the gel colors and she picked the number she wanted. When it was time for her nails to be painted she had to go grab the color. Since all of their colors have numbers and are never in order, she could not find her color. It had been a few minutes so she tried to open a few and see what color was close to the one she picked. (Because we all want to be happy with the color we will be seeing on our nails for the next two or more weeks.) At this point the worker shouted to her in front of the entire salon "HURRY UP!" Now, me being a person who works in a business, the first thing I would have done was ask if she needed any assistance finding the color she wanted. My friend was very upset and embarrassed, yet still gave her a $10 tip for a job well done. I am not one to bash on any business because things happen, but when you are confronted with a problem (one that is not cheap for us women) and you do not recognize the underlying issue, then I am angry!

At first I liked magic nails, my nails would look nice after being done by Jackie and his sister Tee but after the first few visits I sensed a bit of an attitude from them I dont know why but whatever I just ignored it but then everyday one of my nails were breaking sometimes two a day so when I would go back for a fill I would have to repair a nail or two! So I was DONE!!! If they can't get the job done RIGHT then they don't deserve my service... -Rita

This place is horrible, it doesn't deserve that one star! I went in and explained exactly what I wanted. Then an older woman with glasses told me to pick a color, so I did. I wanted a thin gel over...
This place is horrible, it doesn't deserve that one star! I went in and explained exactly what I wanted. Then an older woman with glasses told me to pick a color, so I did. I wanted a thin gel overlay with gel polish...simple enough, you would think! She started to do my nails and they were as thick as two quarters put together!? And don't get me started on the shape! All uneven and crooked! Then when I told her that they were way too thick that I wanted them to look natural she laughed at me and started drilling them down and muttering her language to herself the entire time! And if that wasn't rude enough she kept slicing the sides and bottoms of my fingernails with a drill like she was pissed off and trying to get back at me! She kept doing it to the point of me bleeding on almost every finger! Wtf?! So then the owner was walking by and saw the blood (because it was that visible and chunks of skin were missing) and said I didn't have to pay for nails and that he was going to have some else fix them. Which I was okay with because they weren't nails worth paying for, at all! Fine, enough - I wouldn't have to be tortured anymore, either. The new girl did a shit job covering my horrible nails with the gel polish. And stopped the bleeding by covering it with nail glue! So let's add nail glue to an open cut!?! And then as I was walking out I was stopped to pay for the nails?! Didn't they just tell me I didn't have to pay?! So I ended up having to pay for the shitty job anyways! First and last time I'm ever going to this place! Horrible experience! I'm shocked this place is in business at all! And as I'm typing this I'm feeling my nails and they are sticky and feel like there's lint all over them! And my fingertips are killing me! I hope this place uses clean stuff because if I get an infection, they will be hearing from my lawyer!

I've been coming here for years, and overall they do an excellent job. I've had acrylics, gels, manicures, pedicures, etc. The pedicures are my favorite! They soak your feet in salts, clip and file your nails, remove any hang nails, and use a callus remover all over the bottom of your feet and heels. Then they wash your legs and feet with a bath scrub, massage them with lotion, and finally wrap them in a warm steamed cloth. It usually takes about 45 minutes to an hour....but you'll be wishing it took longer. The chairs you sit in for the pedicures have an optional massaging settings...wonderful!I've had only one or two bad experiences. Once was for a gel manicure, and it was because the manicurist was new (she also no longer works there), and the other time was my manicurist was miserable. I normally don't care, since I like to be left alone to piece in quiet, but she seemed annoyed and very rough. These experiences have never swayed me from coming back every two weeks. Just an FYI: Don't bother making an appt, you're always going to have to wait, unfortunately.

Been coming here since they first opened. I love the atmosphere and feel like I'm right at home. The girls always do my feet whether it's a polish change or a pedicure and do an amazing job! Jacky does my hands and is the best at what he does! I rarely ever go anywhere else for my nails. This is my spot:)

I went here on a whim because I haven't found a nail salon I love ( I've yet to get a pedi at Alayne White, but I'm there next). Anyway this place was really close to my house and utterly forgettable....
I went here on a whim because I haven't found a nail salon I love ( I've yet to get a pedi at Alayne White, but I'm there next). Anyway this place was really close to my house and utterly forgettable. Things I do remember:-I went during the middle of the day in the middle of the week and it was pretty busy, so either they have a good base clientele or lots of people who work near by were getting nails done on their lunch break.- The salon was quite and big. There was a few televisions that were on silent and there was no radio on. So, it was a little too quite. I felt awkward that I could hear the lady next to me having a conversation. - They didn't use new/fresh tools on my toes. EW this totally grosses me out. I won't be back. I'll try my luck at Alayne's. I know I will love it. I'm just not looking forward to paying the costly price for it...

My favorite place to get my nails done! They are quick and always get you in within 20 minutes on a walk-in. If you're going to schedule an appt I recommend Jackie, he does a great job on nails and is quite the conversationalist. The place is spotless, and they have a great selection of polish (none of which seem to have been sitting around for years getting gunky which is a pet peeve of mine). Average pricing: around 25 for a full set. 18 for a fill. 40 for a mani/pedi. They also have "kids" pricing which is great if you're like me and have a little one to bring with you sometimes.I'm a repeat customer!
