I was very excited when I walked in and saw how nice and clean the place was. Unfortunately I was very disappointed with the services. I spent almost $50 for a gel manicure that didn't even cover my full nails. There were spots on my nails where you could see right through the gel and the gel doesn't even come down to the tips of nails. Very disappointed and I was expecting much more for a $48 manicure. I absolutely love MiniLuxe. Not only is it super convenient (hey, you can get your Pinkberry fix right next door), the staff is professional, the entire process is "clean," and the results are great.I actually toured the facility a while back and learn about the lengths they go to sanitize and ensure that every manicure and pedicure is as safe and clean as can be. They don't have jets in the pedicure tubs because tubs with jets are more difficult to sanitize.I usually only get pedicures, and they are great! They have a loyalty program that has changed a bit over the years, but if you are a regular customer there are ways to save on future services. I think the prices are very fair, and they have options to upgrade services or polishes for a bit extra.This is definitely my go-to spot for all my pedi needs. Read Less

I had a lovely experience at Mini Luxe today. Sindy  did a great job on my prestige manicure! She asked whether I wanted my cuticles trimmed before she did it- I prefer mine to be pushed back. She was thorough and pleasant. The environment was calm- although I'd actually dig some background music.I also got a bikini wax from Erin. Wow! She was wonderful! She explained the procedure and choices I had and was completely professional. The room was clean and very comfortable. This was a much better waxing experience than I have had in the past. I didn't know that if you book your next appointment before you leave the shop, you receive 10% off your next visit. Erin let me know and I was thankful, as I like to be savvy with my spending. I got a pedicure today by maureen and she is fabulous. Always asking if I'm comfortable and I have super sensitive skin and she made sure I had no problems, everything is so clean and everyone is super friendly. For the price of the gel manicure, I wasn't impressed-- the manicure itself was lackluster, and the gel held up for only 3 days before it peeled off entirely. Like others have said, the technicians were hovering nearby the entire time, gossiping about other technicians AND clients. I'm all about enjoying your work environment, but it's really unprofessional to be gossiping about clients when a client is sitting in your chair receiving services. Aside from the "meh" manicure, when I checked out at the front desk, the person checking me out, without saying anything else (how was your service, would you like to book another apt, etc.) simply said "how much would you like to tip?" when I handed her my credit card. This is my third visit to MiniLuxe and I was very pleased until today. I have a very hectic work schedule and when I schedule an appointment, I expect that my time will be respected and that I would be seen on time. After they called me to cancel my previous appointment, I had to move my schedule around to fit the appointment today. When I show up to my appointment, I am informed that I would have to wait a minimum of 30 minutes. I understand things happen, but for the price that I am paying and the fact that I had to change my schedule to fit this appointment , this is completely unacceptable. It was very nice in there. Clean and whatnot. But the first time I went I was a walk in (which it says u can be). The first girl I talked to said I was going to have to wait almost 2 hours, but there was literally 1 lady who walked in right before me, no one else. I get having to wait, but dont say you take walk-ins if you are putting me an appointment spot. Just say its appointment only. Another girl there overheard and said they could do it in 30 minutes. Ok, that sounds mo...re reasonable. I sat down and about 1/2 way through began asking about prices, being that my first time there was free... the girl had no idea and neither did the other girls! I said I would go back just for a polish change because I didnt want to pay a redicoulous price for a manicure that was listed on their cards. The lady I had kept asking other people how to you the "specialty" polish that they have. The one that is supposed to stay on for 14 days. She didnt know it needed a bottom coat, the lady next to her had to tell her that when she almost put the polish on. No training prior to opening??? Well, it was chipping away after 2 days, no surprise really... Dont recommend it if you have to use you hands for work. I made an appointment to go back in 2 weeks, and I made it with a girl I knew that worked there, which was really the only reason I was going back. They messed up my appointment and put me with someone else, saying that I never booked it with the girl I know... really?! They were very confused both times. Tried giving me a full manicure and charge me for that when all I requested and got was a polish change. And then still tried to charge me a different price than what they told me the first day. I just went for a manicure today and this place was great! I mixed up the time and missed my appointment but they went out of their way to accommodate me even though they were busy.
