Just went this past Saturday and by Tuesday my gel manicure started chipping. Wow! I am a first timer at young nails and spa and all I could say when I left was “god bless you!” And “wow” (bowing to them as I left.) Eunice took my hands immediately to look them over (they were well overdue--I always get gel manicures for the long lasting polish bc of my job, as I am an esthetician myself) This wonderful woman must have heard me talking to my boyfriend over the phone saying that I would be quick, 20-30 minutes but i wasn't sure, I've never been there before. In under 30 minutes, this beautiful soul was able to do my nails with such beauty and efficiency, help another customer pick out a nail polish that she liked while I was soaking, and give me an amazing back massage while my nails were drying! I have never seen such love and attention given in such a quick amount of time! I am a busy person at the moment so I really appreciate that. Thank you Eunice, you are a master of your craft! The good: Very welcoming & friendly staff.  Greeted me and had me in a pedicure chair right away.  Had an amazing leg rub with hot stones and a nice back rub while my nails dried.The bad: The actual pedicure was a bit rushed.  I haven't been for a pedicure for a while and new I needed a good scrub down on the bottom of my feet.  Attention to cuticles was minimal as well.The ugly: Hygiene and sanitation was majorly lacking.  Pedicure basin was filthy.  She took tool right from her drawer and put back in the drawer.  No barbicide antiseptic or UV lights, just tools used on everyone.  There was a basket of all of the toe separators and pedi flops, which looked like they reuse for other clients.  ...just gross. I must say I was extremely pleased with my Mani & Pedi done by (Ann). All of the women seemed very pleasant. Not only do they take there time but the environment is extremely soothing. I seriously don't understand how this place has this many positive reviews.  Returned tonight from a 6PM Mani/Pedi that was probably the 2nd worst I'd ever gotten.  I'm a guy and I understand we don't require nearly as much work as females that go into these places.  As such I expect a little extra care to go into making sure my nails are shaped properly and the cuticles are perfect.  I don't need gloss or polish of any sort so it shouldn't be a problem.I knew it was a problem as soon as the woman sat me in the chair and just started hacking at my nails without letting them soak at all to soften them.  Just whipped out the cutters, SQUARED my nails, filed them, then put them in the water to soak.  So my nails are all chopped up and after she was done I had to ask her to round them.  She looked at me like I'd grown a third eye and then belatedly "fixed" them.Lastly - being a male - I don't need 5 gallons of their most smelly lotion rubbed all over my hands and feet.  They literally dumped/drizzled the lotion all over my hands and feet with very - VERY - fragrant lotion.  So much smell that I felt like a french ...  you get the idea!Now... the only reason I am giving them 2 stars is that the woman who did my feet and foot massage did a reasonable job on my toe nails and the foot massage was actually really good.  The woman who did my hand nails shouldn't touch another guys hands... ever!Now on top of a crappy nail job I ended up paying $50 (with tip - because I'm not a cheap bastard!).  $39 plush a tip that I should have just handed to the pedicurist. I went and had a full set put on last Saturday had to go back wenesday to have a few fix. Now today has been a week and a day they are all lose and 2 have fell off never ever will I go back. 35$ for my nails to come off is crazy never ever again not worth the money. Read Less

I am a guy, so my view is limited just to a basic pedicure.The job was done great.  Calluses, ingrown nails, normal nails - all removed with little or no pain.  Lotions and massaging were done well and there was very moderate tickling.Why 4 stars?  Only for one reason: temperature control.1) The water in the tub initially was very hot.2) Then it got almost cold3) Air in the salon was on the cool side (20 degrees outside)So this all created just a bit of discomfort. I've tried so many nail salons in the central Jersey area in the last 6 years and am very particular about my mani/pedis. Even my couple "favorite" salons have disappointed me lately, so I stumbled across this salon a couple days ago and couldn't be happier about it! (I'm pregnant and really needing my pedicures lately)  I received the best hot stone pedicure i've ever gotten and can't wait to go back again soon for a gel manicure. Call to make an appointment as I feel their always slightly understaffed and waiting. They give you a nice long leg massage with hot rocks and a neck massage (included in the basic $25 pedicure). Not the best with designs but other than that, it's my favorite nail salon in the area. Read Less

Love this place. Better than any salon in the area. Everyone is super friendly, they really take their time with you, you also get a great leg massage with hot stones which you won't find anywhere else around here. They massage your shoulders and back while you're drying as well. I used to go to Anna's but there is really no comparison. Great price for great service. Read Less

Best pedicure I've ever gotten, Kim massaged each leg for at least 10 mins! Also she gave a back massage while my nails dried. Couldn't ask for a more relaxing experience and they were able to do my complicated toe designs I asked for! Definitely a great bang for your buck. Read Less

Went to Youngs for the first time today with my tween daughter. We were both pleasantly surprised. We both got age appropriate manis and pedis. There were three ladies working and they were all pleasant and kind. There was nice soothing music in the background. We got pampered with a long pedicure (40 mins) including the usuals - but there was no hurry. The ladies took their time and included massages, hot rocks and towels. Very nice. They were kind enough to do any designs, and extras for my tween daughter. They even have a student and kid discount. I got my first gel french manicure, and so far, so good. All in, we spent $74, which i thought was a bargain for two manis and pedis including gel and designs. We even went back within 20 minutes to get a gem fixed on my daughter's toe, which they were willing to do at no change - even though we tipped them for the repair. If you are looking for a calm, no-hurry, friendly, and reasonable nail salon - you have found it. Check it out. Read Less
