if I could give a zero or a negative # I would, that's how bad my experience with this salon has been. Be advised this salon has kept the same name, but, closed/reopened & changed hands/ownership many times in the last 10 yrs., when Mimi was there. Now "Anthony", who has worked in every salon in Wyoming Valley, supposedly is the current owner. This salon is not current with Pa State Licensure re: Cosmetology training/educational requirements, inspections, etc. Also, I've had mani/pedi locally for 20+ yrs. & NEVER been injured/cut with a GRINDER? type file used for this pedi in Jan 2014. To be brief: non-English speaking male cut my foot so badly he couldn't stop the bleeding, resulted in 2 Podiatry appts., 10-day antibiotic for infection & X-ray of foot. Unable to wear normal shoes to work for 8 weeks! (Also, upon limping out of salon the day of appt., I asked to speak w/owner-mgr. to show him the injured area. Response was "I'll take $5.00 off the price".) I was aghast at the unconcerned attitude after I sat in pain & was expected to pay for the experience. I did end up not being charged for the Pedi, only the gel nail fill. Beware & read anything "very closely" that may LOOK like a Pa State Licensure Certificate hanging on the wall....... Read Less
