Went in to get acrylic nails and tips done. It was about $25 and $10 to get gel polish. $10 additional for a catseye effect. The guy didn't push my cuticles back like most places do. My nails are mostly squared and they are the same lengths. The guy was sloppy with the acrylic and got some underneath my tips leaving blobs. My nails feel almost too thick. At one point he had actually gotten the acrylic on my hand. The design for catseye isn't center on my left hand but it is on my right hand. I'm a little disappointed about that. He used a warm towel on my hands at the end. That was pleasant but did not remove all of the acrylic dust from my hands. The hand massage at the end lasted probably under a minute. Went here for the first time and it's going to be the last. I told the guy to make them even and square, he couldn't even file my nails correctly. If you have uneven nails. Any nail technician would try and make them even not leave some long some short. Some square some round some I don't even know what. Despite me pointing out what needs to be fixed. She kept staring at something behind me, I felt uncomfortable. She rolled her eyes when I told her she didn't file my tip into a round tip right. It was lopsided. S...he rushed through and actually clip my pinky finger when she cut my nails down. I can't even wash my pinky because the water for some reason caused me more pain. The UV lamp that located under the nails station was a bit hot that it burn one of my fingertips. I have discomforts on my right hand so I will keeping an eye on my fingernails for the few days. After she finished painting my nails, the tech lady move me to the drying station by 11am. She grab her bag and rush out of the salon before I can even say anything to her. She finished my nails in 30 minutes which is the fastest time for me to get a full set and you can tell she rushed through. One nail has a dent, two nails look like it got a speed bump, and one of my thumb look like a hill in the middle of the nail with two completely flat sides. I dislike having imperfections with my nails so I am getting it fix whenever I can somewhere else that know how to give me nice shape full set with no "bumps or flat area" 'nails. I will say I think ppl giving bad reviews here have prob been here once or twice and never fully gave them a chance. I have been coming here for YEARS and they are amazing. They do great work and work long hours to make all work "QUALITY WORK". I do pink n white gels and get my brows done and never had a problem. Those techs work 6 days week/ 12 hr days and you prob caught them at a time where they were tired, have been talked down to by someone rude, or have worked through ...crazy busy customers walking in all at the same time....idk about u, but times like that can easily make someone unhappy. When you start getting to know them and you find a great person to do your nails they would never disappoint you! The entire staff is wonderful everyone is fun to be around! When ur nice to them they will be nice to you. I am extremely picky when it comes to getting my nails done a certain way, but they work extra to make sure it's how I want them...they always take care of me with open arms. I've tried every nail salon in the valley, never one like this...I won't go anywhere else. Make an apt bc they are always crazy busy. I use to come here for pedicures all the time a few years ago and today when I was invited by a friend of mine to come get my nails done with her here, I jumped on it because it had been a while and I never had a problem here before. First of all, the woman who did my nails was so rude, barely smiled and didn't say much to me at all. This was a problem for me, I know some people aren't very talkative. She barely paid attention to what she was doing, as she watched things goin...g on behind me and the woman getting her nails done next to me the entire time she sat there. This has to be worst manicure I have ever gotten. She never made sure my nails were even or if the tips fit my fingers well. I have to tell everyone that I have small fingers and ever place I go to has to cut down the smallest tip to fit on my pinky. She did nothing of the sort or even acknowledge my warning when I told her. After she finished clipping my nails and coating them, she started to paint them in a very strange way. One finger on one hand, two on another and I had no idea what she was doing. It started off fine but then she was doing 2, 3, 4 and more coats of polish on them. And not even on all of them. Long story short... By the end my friend was finished 15 minutes before me and the lady started polishing my nails before my friend had even picked out her color... My nails look so terrible right now and they are beginning to hurt from digging into my figures where they are crooked and coated in so many layers of color, I lost track of the amount. I normally don't write reviews if their bad. Because hey sometimes people have bad days or their new. But the person they gave me was not being supervised by anyone so I assumed he knew what he was doing. Boy was I wrong! First they did my pedi so I didn't get to sit with my friends. The person who did my pedi was very rough when he was putting the lotion on my legs he was banging on them and I have an old injury near my right knee. Not cool! Then I forgot to pick a color an...d instead of bringing over the whole basket he gave me one board of nail colors. He then went on to do my mani I asked if he was doing acrylic and he said yes. Then he tried to paint my nails and didn't put any tips on. I practically had to rip my hand away for him to understand because I quickly realized after that that it was a language barrier issue and he was just saying yes even though he didn't know what I was talking about. Two other workers had to explain it to him. The lady who did my nails had to rip off like three of my tips after she put them off because they were crooked. Then didn't ask if I like them after she cut them so I had asked her to make them shorter later on, showing her exactly what I wanted which was like 2 cm shorter. So she files them down a little. Get out the clippers! She had to file them down atleast twice then she seemed pissed and wore this sour frown for the rest of time she was doing my nails. It's not my fault she isn't good at this job! Then after she did my nails. I realized my left pointer and right pointer were two different lengths. One was blatantly longer than the other. I am never one to want to get up in the middle of getting my nails done and leave and I always tip. Because like I said sometimes they're new or they are just having a bad day. But I made an exception today. I am never going back there. No only are they different sizes but some are also still crooked. Like wth! And the price I paid so not worth all the aggravation. THEY DESTROYED MY NAILS! I wanted a simple manicure and one nail patched. Young lady proceeded to do a gel manicure on me which entailed sanding my cuticles and laying on a clear base coat. When I saw her gel "Samples" I reminded her I said NO GEL MANICURE. She then proceeded to "Dremel" off the base coat on every single one of my nails. So I complained. Let me start with what I saw the moment I walked in. One lady was paying and I overheard him say $40. Her eyes went and she said you told me $35! It must've been 5 minutes before the lady gave in. I told myself I wouldn't let that happen. I got in quick due to being early in the day. My nails are lop sided and looked terrible. I asked for ombé nails and got a half done job. She told me it was going to be $35 because I was convinced to pick out gel, but at the end she of course told me $40. I usually don't get my nails done but I wanted to try for Valentine's Day. Another thing that bugged me is the lack of cleanliness. The place where you dry your nails was horrendous. There was God knows what in there, I felt it all over my hands. When I went, half of the salon for the pedicure seats had no lights because they have electrical problems, which also meant the massage chairs weren't working. Before I showed up, I called to make an appointment early in the day for 430. I was approached or even seated for until about 515. The guy that did my nails did a good job with the designs I wanted for the most part. I will never go back because they charged me for every small thing they could. My bill came out to be 100 for a manicure and pedicure with gel. He originally told me it was 20 for a pedicure and it magically jumped up to 45 dollar and he orginally charged me 45 for my nails but because I asked him to cut my cuticles he charged me extra. For it to be my first time there I didn't feel welcome or happy that I chose that shop. Needs better customer service, working lights, and to stop over charging for things that should be included, especially when one person is spending so much money at your shop and still tipping.
