Felt rushed to get out, paid extra for a second tier pedicure and it was less quality than a regular, less expensive pedicure. I didn't get enough coats of color either. I wish this place was better because I live nearby. The atmosphere is nice and so are the people but my experiences here have not been great. My nail polish on my fingernails (including gel) and toenails have chipped every time within hours or days of leaving. Lately, the old woman at the desk has been trying to sell me the higher priced pedicures, facials, waxing, you name it. I tell her up front that I came for a mani and pedi but she doesn't listen. She stands there and watches me pick me out nail polish while continuing to try to sell me different services. I keep trying to give this place the benefit of the doubt because it is close by, but every time I go here I am never satisfied when I leave. Between the sales pitches and the fact that my gel nails and toenail polish chips within less than 24 hours of leaving I am going to search for a new place to go. Read Less

I've never written a review before but felt it necessary for this. I've been getting a gel manicure every two to three weeks for many years. My usual place was packed and I was in a hurry so I stopped into this place. Hands down one of the worst if not the worst manicure I've ever been given. The polish is covering my skin and cuticles. It looks like a small child painted my nails. It's actually to the point I'm embarrassed for other people to see them. It's also pricier than comparable places and the quality of work is very subpar. I'm not sure what the other reviewers are talking about.  These folks are not only quite nice but they also do a great job.  I've never gotten a bad manicure or pedicure (I don't get acrylics or tips,etc. so I can't comment on those).  In fact I moved a few miles further away, where there are several salons much closer to me, but at those salons , get the wrong person and you get sub-quality work. When I have the time to travel a little farther I always go back to these guys.  I'm always satisfied, the atmosphere is clean and pleasant (they keep it nicely painted and it never looks worn) and they always greet me warmly. I've been going for 7 years. I love the same girl that I go to each time but when she's not working some of the other technicians do not do quality work. My nails have broken two days later with the acrylic. I take care of my nails and wear gloves, etc.....their prices went up as well. Read Less

The only reason I've ever gone back here is pure convenience and I am so mad at myself when I do! Most of the techs do an okay job but when they are very busy, the owner Mary will fill in. Pray that you do not get her, especially if you are a walk-in! She is preoccupied with how the business is running and seems to be constantly yelling at her employees in Chinese. Don't get me wrong, I am sure she is nice and I understand that as the owner of the salon you need to make sure it is running efficiently, but it is not fair to the customer you are working on. She left me 2-3 times during both my pedicure and manicure. Also, I'm not sure that she is proficient in color gel nails - the two times she has done them for me my nails are tacky because she does not allow them to sit in the UV light long enough. Here is the bottom line: it is convenient. But if you want a quality mani/pedi, skip this place! Or at the very least consider waiting for the next available technician if the owner tries to do your nails. Read Less
