I just came in last night for permanent eyeliner. Aylin was friendly yet professional. She explained the procedure and what to expect. I asked to see her work, and she gladly showed me her portfolio. While working she would stop to make sure I was okay, and she let me view her work in a mirror along the way. She listened to what I wanted, and guided me toward a more conservative look for the first application. Just had a fabulously relaxing massage from Jacqui. She communicated with me that if while working on me to feel comfortable to let her know if she was too rough or gentle. I did and she adjusted to meet my request. I would definitely come back again if I'm in the area. Unfortunately I'm moving away. I've have many massages in my life and this was in the top 2. Have had Lorrie Doyle cut my hair here and at the location off and on for years. She is the best at giving me the cut I request and need. Location is small but efficient and staff is always smiling. Like it here and love my cuts. I had a cut in miami in August and she recently trimmed it to look exactly the same and made it look fresh all o sr again. Try her for your cut. You will be very happy. I went here because of a Google Offer for a Shellac manicure (which had the wrong address on it and caused me to be late!). The people were friendly and the place was clean. Nothing to "wow" you and definitely not a spa. The manicure is pretty amazing- over a week and not one chip! I had a mani-pedi a couple years ago and was relatively pleased. Standard service despite the hype and decor. Last week I decided to get an express pedi during my lunch. What a mistake. First, they were 15 minutes late and did not acknowledge their lack of attentiveness to my schedule (keep in mind, I called ahead of time to ensure that I would not need to wait long). The tech took me to their colors and seemed less than enthused to wait on me. I asked for Essie 'wicked' and she looked at me like i was speaking another language. i begrudgingly choose another color and sat in the chair (broken massage, but no biggie). Upon sitting in the tub for 5 or so mins, the tech looks at my feet, grunts, and says, "ugh, you're a runner aren't you? runners feet are always cracked and grimey, ugh". she then puts bright pink dish-washing gloves as though my feet were contaminated with fungus and disease and made faces during the entire process. She attempted to sell me a bunch of their overpriced products and devices. keep in mind, yes, my feet get a little more wear and tear than most given my daily 5-10 miles, but i daily emory my feet and usually get bi-monthly pedi's at my local center city spot w/in walking distance to my house, but thought i would give this a try given the proximity to work and that i could potentially come here during my lunch break. I have been going to Currie since the West Chester location opened (It was Texxtures before).  I drive 35 minutes and pass probably 30+ salons to get my hair cut and colored by Emily.  Everyone is friendly and professional.  I often get complimented on my hair and have been very happy with their services.  Highly recommended! I've been to both the West Chester and Glen Mills locations for mani/pedi and wasn't too impressed with either one.  I went because both locations are convenient to my work, and they're also close to each other but Glen Mills is newer and larger.  The manicure and pedicure I had at the West Chester location lasted one week.  There are a lot of strip mall nail places you can go to get a longer lasting manicure and pedicure for about $10 less per service, the only other difference being that Currie obviously has more services than just nails and has a more upscale spa look and feel.  My manicurist was really personable and talkative and gave a nice long leg/foot massage, but nothing else about the experience stood out, and you're really just paying for the atmosphere.
