I went in hoping they could fix the mess another salon made. The woman proceeded to continue to make her suggestions after I made it clear I just needed a gel manicure. She then continued to ask if I would come back because they are the best and the other places are not even close. I finally gave in and said that I'd be back, but I wont. Don't waste your time. I called ahead to see if they were busy on a Monday around 4pm and they weren't. When I walked in the one woman was on the phone going through mail yelling pick a color and trying to get the attention of her sleeping employees. One was in the pedicure chair sleep snoring the other was just sitting there zoned out. The women in the back did my nails she did everything I asked her NOT to do. She unshaped my nails, painted on top of wet polish with different colors, she just wanted to finish didn't care if it  was right. And my nails look a mess. She Ignored me the whole time. I have gone to this salon many times and absolutely love the way the females do my nails. Today, I had a gentleman do them who had done them before and totally messed them up. I went and asked for one of the ladies and was told it would be a little bit. I said that's fine and was given the gentleman. I sat down and gave the gentleman the benefit of the doubt. I explained to the gentleman that I need the pink and white on the thicker side because of my line of work and being hard on my hands. The gentleman started off doing amazing by placing the right amount on. He then began filing and filed all the thickness off. I told him numerous times doing the time he was doing my nails that they were becoming to thin. He did not listen to me and just kept filing away. After he noticed that I was starting to get upset, he then decided to ask me to sit there and tell me what I wanted him to do. I asked him numerous different times to fix them and he did not. Let just say I will not be going back. I called after leaving because I'm not one to make a scene, I called and asked for a refund. The woman I spoke to stated that I will not get a refund that I need to come in and have them fixed. I had already asked him to fix them and he did not. I have been going here for many many years. They are hands down the best. I am always greeted by name and do not have to tell any if the ladies what i want or how short. I also get my eyebrows done and they are on point. I highly recommend Foxy!! Thanks for years of perfect services ladies. Been here 3 times. First 2 visits: A-ok.Last time: was the LAST TIME.A french pedicure took 90 minutes. - I think that's too much... And I had places to be on a lovely friday afternoon. The staff was distracted. The water in the foot bath went cold. I am fine with a little language barrier, but interacting with the staff was a painful pantomime. I had to guess what she wanted me to do, and ended up feeling frustrated not relaxed. To her credit - she did try to work on my the bottom of my beat up feet. I've tried several salons, in the area and Foxy Nails ead BY FAR the worst. My first visit ... I said I needed a new set. My old tips were removed, my real nails were cut and filed down. I was cut twice during that process, and then instead of giving me new tips, they put the gel filler on my nails and tried to say they DID give me a new set. Read Less

The place wasn't the cleanest but my service was fast and came out nice. The guy who did my refill had some kind of disorder where he kept twitching so he would squeeze my fingers really tight which was uncomfortable. But overall I think he did a good job. I left satisfied. Read Less

I made an appt for myself and my sister.  We were seen promplty, but we were rushed to select nail color.  Once I was seated I noticed that the nail tech didn't have patience after I informed her that I changed my mind and wanted another color.  She sucked her teeth and then began speaking her language to the nail tech who was working on my sister (he, professionally ignored her).  She looked up at me and smiled.  Yeah, chicky - I got your number.  I thought of walking away, but it was my sister's first "professional" experience.  Besides, her tech was stellar (and did an absolutely beautiful job w/nail decor and all).  Service was quick - too quick for both of us.  Foxy Nails in no way compares to the professional nail salons I've frequented (just goes to show that I have to keep my nails "did" before going out of town).  Service was too quick, even though we sat at the drying area for 20 minutes.  We were out in about 1.5 hrs total.  Two days later my nails are chipping.  My pedi is fine but my mani is getting awful.  I called my sister and she reported the same thing - her nail color is fading and chipping already.  Needless to say, we will not go back to that place.  Bad manners, bad interior (no wall decorations - but, hey - it isn't listed as a salon so I guess I got what I got and shouldn't be surprised), and not very friendly.  I could have kept my $76 (shame on me for tipping $12) and gone to one of my favorite salons.  Lesson learned ... Really Good Job each time i go, friendly and attentive staff. They have even done some custom work for me they do not normally do, for example, they hand painted the Phillies P on my big toe nails for me. No pressure to do things you dont want done.
