I haven't found a decent nail place I like in the Lehigh Valley yet so I went here hoping to get a decent full set of acrylic nails. The nail polish I asked the technician to use was a light bubble gum pink color and then asked her to apply a rainbow chrome to my ring fingers. First off, she accidentally cut my index finger. It hurt so I tensed up and she told me to relax and then she kept going. The whole time, she would be giggling about what the other nail techs were saying to her. Also, when she applied the nail polish, it was messy and not just on my nails. Then she couldn't figure out how to apply the chrome so she became irritated and told me to choose a darker pink color for my just my ring finger. I chose a darker pink, she applied it and still couldn't get the chrome to turn out. She then told me "chrome turns out differently on different people" and she didn't have time to fix it (it had already been an hour and 15 mins). So she got another nail technician to come over and fix it. The second nail tech got the chrome to work but didn't fix the air bubble in my nail. They charged me $50 for this nonsense and I still tipped her $10 on top of it just because I don't believe in not tipping (being that I'm a waitress and live off tips). I won't be going back and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice set of acrylics. Read Less

Vi did an excellent job applying acrylic to tips on my nails. I bite my nails and usually pick any fake nails off. These lasted me solid 2 weeks through the holidays. I tried picking but they were solid and didn’t chip! Very impressed! I went back today to have them shortened, so I could work better and a French tip polish. Perfect! I may keep these up! Read Less

I had a place I used pretty regularly for pedicures. Unfortunately my nail tech left. I tried some other techs at that salon then I tried a couple at a different salon...still not happy I came to Pure nails. Their reviews were good and they're located near the gym my daughter uses so they were convenient. They were friendly and professional. My tech ( I think his name was David. I'm terrible with names.) I am new in the area I searched them on google and saw they have good reviews so I decided to try and all the girl in there are friendly and they do a very good job on my Nails and they give a wonderful pedicure too ! I have gone here before with no problem. I loved it. But this time was a little different. My nails look great, but we'll see how long they last. Because, the lady who was doing my nails, she spent half the time paying attention to her phone. Shed be using the little electric file thing, and look down at her phone, look back at my nails for a couple seconds, and go back to watching her phone, look back at my nails, and that was my whole hour and 15 minutes getting my nails done. First time here and they charge way too much for their services!  I came up to visit a friend from Philadelphia area.  For what we got done (pedicures and gel manicures) it cost 145 dollars!!  We would have paid about 100 total back home.  The service was no better either.  First and last time I will be coming to Pure Nails. I just recently moved here , I loved my nail salon where I used to live and was worried if I would have to drive 45 minutes back to get my nails done. I searched nail salons near me, and this one was #1 on the reviews on Yelp. Turns out it is 3 minutes from me. I called and made an appt same day. The owner Cindy  did my nails, super friendly ,  super careful and super detailed. Another lady did my pedicure and I was treated the same way , very detailed and one of the best mani /pedis I've had. I kept returning to Pure Nails because the quality of the manicures is great. Although they do a great job on acrylic fills and gel polish, they do not treat customers well. More often than not, they are speaking in Chinese to each other and laughing and on FaceTime or the telephone on their iPhones, how rude! They have made snarky comments to me including that I need to gain weight and they don't like how I dress. I understand that these are their opinions however this is outright rude. I was charged $50 instead of $30 today simply because I wanted my nails cut shorter. I didn't need nails repaired or the shape changed. When I asked the manicurist she insisted it was the price. Absolutely ridiculous. I asked to speak to a manager and they said I could come back after I paid. I'm done with this nail place and will be seeking another one soon. I'm a repeat customer who tips well and they have the audacity to treat me rudely. I will NOT be returning. THUMBS DOWN! As a business, they be treating the customer with some respect! Read Less

Great design options for gel and acrylic nails. More than the typical design options at other places! The best pedicure I have ever gotten. They are pretty busy and it would help to make a reservation esp for more than 1 person. Read Less

I've visited a majority of the nail salons around the area. I've got to admit, this is my favorite in town...they offer a lot of different services, nails, pedicures, facials, hair removal, etc. Fast service, friendly staff, reasonable prices. Always end up waiting forever to get my nails done. Doesn't matter if I'm here before everyone else (even when no one has an appt). I'm one who prefers all my nails to be the same shape (weird, right?) but they never end up that way. My suggestion is go somewhere else, Oliver's salon and spa is the same price I've heard. I went here today to get a full set with gel acrylics. They helped me and my girlfriend right away, even tho they rushed us a little I wasn't mad about it. The woman who did my nails did an amazing job and made them as short as I wanted without complaint. Everytime I go get to my nails done I like them short (I'm a waitress so they can't be too long) and every other place will complain and say they can't do it. But not this place. Came here for a pedicure and to try new shape for acrylic nails called "coffin nails". They came out ok, but 2 nails broke a couple days later. Had to go to NY to get them redone. Found a new spot in Allentown, so I'll only be back here for pedicures... maybe. Read Less
