Don't go here if you want to get a basic manicure. I made an appointment and still had to wait for awhile. The nail technician took a phone call and did my nails during the call, so she wasn't very focused. I had grown my nails out over the past month, so they were all very long, but she made a mistake cutting one and had to cut them all down to match. She used dirty tools on a dirty surface, which should've been a red flag right away. She filed some of my nails down, but several were uneven and only filed with a rough file, so they had sharp points and were scratchy. The polish didn't even cover my whole nail when she put it on. The whole manicure took about 5 minutes. She asked my to pay and tip before, and I did, but I wish I hadn't. I have previously had good experiences there with pedicures, but after this experience I will never go to Bliss nails again. Read Less

I went to Bliss Nails for the first time tonight.  The staff was friendly and pleasant.  I got a gel mani and a pedi and they both were great.  During the pedi, they did a hot stone massage on my legs and feet.  After my mani, they give me a quick shoulder and neck massage.  Everything was clean and they had soothing music playing.  Great experience and I will definitely be back! I absolutely love getting my nails done here. I've only gotten one pedicure here and decided to give it a try. Well let's just say I'll never be getting another one. I asked for a basic pedicure; clean up my cuticles, get the dead skin off and paint my nails. He cut two of my nails so short they bled. Then he used a 'cheese grater' which I'm quite certain you aren't allowed to use anymore and I have two huge open wounds on the bottom of my right foot. I decided to try this place because it's really close to where I live and I was hoping to find a great new place close by. When I first arrived I was greeted and asked what I wanted to get done.  There were a decent amount of people in the shop but there was no wait which was a definite plus.  After that though my experience went down hill.... the next two people I encountered were absolutely miserable.  The 1st guy came up to me and said "follow me" so I did and half way walking to the back where the pedicure stations were he turns and goes to sit down at a manicure station. I stopped and stared at him because I wasn't sure if he was confused and thought I was getting a manicure instead of a pedicure. He then looks up at me and with an attitude says "go!" And points to the back where the stations are as if I'm suppose to know where to sit. The 2nd guy then comes and gets me and points to a chair... he asked "basic pedicure or spa pedicure" and I reply just the regular one and with that he doesn't speak again.  He just pushed my foot in and out of the water as needed.  I am not a person who likes to talk during my pedicure by any means but their personalities made it almost uncomfortable for me to even be there.   During my pedicure the guy made my one toe bleed.... which is not a huge deal.. it happens... but again not even so much as a sorry.    After my pedicure the guy proceeded to bring me the bill and stood by me until I paid which was fine but then continued to stand by me until I tipped him!  I was suppose to get my eyebrows waxed but they forgot about it until my toes were almost dry and that was okay with me because at that point I couldn't wait to leave because I felt so uncomfortable being there.  The guy who is manager/owner ( I'm assuming that's who he was) was very friendly and accommodating and kept asking me if I was sure I didn't want to get my eyebrows done but other than him everyone else I encountered couldn't even bother to smile.  I am giving this place two stars for two reasons 1) my toes don't look horrible (besides where he cut me) and 2) I believe the manager guy was very nice and really wanted to make sure everything was running smoothly. Very nice and accommodating. Worst gel paint job ever. Painted all over my cuticle. Missed side spots ... was thicker near cuticle and thin at top of nail. This was the worst refill I have ever had! It's like the nail tech purposely didn't fill them correctly so that I would need another refill sooner. She made my thumb bleed. She was rude. And on top of that, it's expensive. Definitely not worth the money! Will never go back. Read Less

Horrible, we called and made an appointment and we showed up and still sat there for 30 minutes. The other customers in there were just as annoyed as us waiting. They take forever. Came here last minute when another nail salon dropped me and my 2 friends appointment. Although it was a Saturday afternoon, we called half an hour in advance and they were able to give all 3 of us manicures quickly. Bliss has many colors to choose from and manicures were only $15 ( French tips were $20)! This was my first time having a male manicurist and all of them were very friendly. The procedure doesn't seem to be standardized as two of us got short hand massages at the nail station while one of us got a short back massage at the drying station. The French tips were not the best I've seen but they fixed my cuticles very well and the experience was overall good. Great place for a casual manicure. Read Less

There were four manicurist working, so I did not have to wait. The guy who did my nails was very nice. I am very happy with the gel manicure.There is a large selection of colors to choose from. Prices is good at $25. The salon was exceptionally clean and bright. This was the first local salon I went to that had the ultraviolet lights built into each station. This was nice because there was plenty of room so your hands were not cramped into a small device. I definitely will go back there. Read Less

Have gone here several times and have had someone different every time, the last time I went had a new guy that was very friendly however once I got home and really looked at my nails I was frustrated with how my nails were all shaped differently and he barely put any gel fill on which is probably why they were chipping like crazy.  The good news is I recently went back to have my nails filled again and was completely satisfied with the results, the lady who sits at #3 does an awesome job!! They have a great selection of gel polishes, and all of the staff were incredibly friendly. My manicurist was a sweet girl who was very talented at her job. I was out of there in less than 15 minutes. Oh, and the gel manicure lasted for a good three weeks before it chipped. I consider that well worth the money for $20. I haven't tried their pedicure or acrylics, which are my usual go-to, when it comes to nail salons, but I'm excited to. This is probably my favorite nail salon in the Lehigh Valley. Read Less

Edited: after giving more stars, once I got home and was able to actually take a look at my pedicure...It was just eh. I had to actually clean up nail polish that was all over every toe. Kind of looks like a child painted them. The cut and file of the actual nail is pretty rough to, very crooked and now rounded when I went in with more of a square nail. The only reason I gave 2 stars and not 1 is because of the hot stones that were used for literally 10 seconds. I'm not sure I would return for the fact that I could have given myself a better pedicure at home for a fraction of the price. Read Less

I was excited to give Bliss Nails a try since it is only 5 minutes from my house. When I came through the door a very nice man greeted me and asked how I was. I told him I wanted to get my eyebrows waxed. He told me to have a seat. I turned around to see that there were 4 people waiting. I thought about walking out, but didn't think I'd be waiting that long since I was only getting my eyebrows waxed. Wrong. I waited 50 minutes. They seem to be short staffed. They only have one girl taking care of the waxing. When it was finally my turn I was told to go to the back room. When I stepped in the room, the chair had oil all over it, which made me think that the customer ahead of me must have gotten a bikini wax. The girl that does the waxing didn't clean the chair and asked me to sit down. She didn't even say "hello" just "sit." She saw I was hesitant and pulled down the sheet of paper that covers the chair (like a doctors office). The oil still seeped out from under the paper. I was in a rush, so I didn't bother to ask her to really clean it. She then performed the worlds fastest eyebrow waxing. She was so rough. I tried telling her how I wanted them to look and she didn't say a word back to me! Then when she was finished she said "okay" and that was it. She didn't hold up a mirror so I could see my eyebrows. I was so fuming mad at that point, I just wanted to get out of there. When I went to pay, I pulled out my debit card. The same girl that waxed me told me that if I paid with a debit, the charge is $15, but if I pay with cash it's $8. REALLY. I know it costs them money when they run a transaction through a machine, but this is absurd. I will never ever give them my business again. Hire some more people! I've driven out here two times and have been unable to get a simple manicure due to their only being 3 people on at a time. There's no sign in system or wait list and on both occasions I've gone in I've been told to go shop and come back in an hour. Friendly people and wonderful service.    Not sure what the individual's name is who did my nails but they were done WELL AND WILL last.TONS of colors to choose from - both gel and regular polish.This salon offers the REAL gel nails and it's done quickly.  I've had other local salons attempt to their rendition of gel for it to turn out to be a complete disaster.Our appointment time was honored which also is a terrific way to maintain customers (as I can't stand going through the trouble of making an appointment only to have to wait).Salon is clean.   I have not gotten a pedi yet but am interested to see how they do.  Well done. Their pedicures suck.  Completely overpriced for garbage work.   his nail salon just opened. It's located in the new shopping center in Trexlertown by Giant.   (Because the back off the store faces the front parking lot of Giant,  most may not know the salon is there as it is the only tenant in the new building).  The signage outside is difficult to read as well.   It's a bit small. They offered 20% off the service ($24 AFTER the discount was applied) which was a nice treat (I presume the discount won't last long - just trying to attract attention)   I went in for an acrylic fill.    Hannah was the nail technician.  She was quick she did a nice job.   The nails are not lifting (like they were minutes after leaving Gemini- nail salon down the street).They do have an excellent selection of polishes, including a great deal of gels.  The do push for the gel fill/up sell for a new full set. Be prepared.   Decor is somewhat tacky, frankly.   Purple is my favorite color but they over did it.    Purple everything.   I'd recommend this place.   I did not get a pedicure but may try it once we are closer to Spring!
