The ladies at joy nails are the sweetest most caring people i've ever met! they're super precise and put a lot of effort into making sure you're 110% pleased by the end of your session! Came in (first visit) on a busy Friday. Station was dirty, with nail clippings from prior customers and same paper towel from last person. One girl started my nails by giving me a tiny dish of cold water to soak my cuticles in, no soap. Without explanation, she disappeared and 10 minutes later someone else came over to continue. The technician took her tool box (which was not lined or clean) from working on someone next to me, did a quick douse with soap and water and began to use them on my hands. I asked her if that was the typical sanitation procedure, and she said yes. Very unsanitary, as they should be disinfecting and sanitizing. I gave two stars because the gel manicure itself looks fine, very typical. If you are concerned for hygiene, however, I do not recommend this place. Read Less

Very poor job. Went back an hour after I was done to fix a couple of nails that were very poorly done and they refused to fix them. Don't waste your money, there are dozens of other better places who gaurantee their work. Read Less

I don't frequent nail salons, but when I decide to treat myself this is the only place I would come. I can't comment on a specific technician, I'm always more than happy to go to anyone that's available and I've never been disappointed. I'm always in and out, but I never feel rushed. This place is great! I came here before a two week trip to Croatia and Greece (lots of ocean and beach stuff to easilly ruin my nails). I wish I could remember the guy who did my mani and pedi but he was fantastic and paid attention to detail. I can't remember the last time I've had a good pedicure massage like I did here. He put on extra top coats so my nails would last through the whole trip. He created a custom color for my nail design. Everything was clean and organized. And the best part, my nails lasted through the trip and more! I will definitely be back! Read Less

I'm coming back here! I'm still on my 15 day trip to the UK and Paris. My pedicure has completely lasted even through a wedding.  My gel manicure is holding strong no peeling or chips and this is day 12! The staff was really friendly and helped me choose my colors. I was in the area and I had some time to waste so I thought I would stop in and get my nails done. I was greeted immediately with smiles and hellos and chose my polish. I rarely get my nails done so when I told Jessica that I wanted a French manicure, she politely told me that both colors I chose were wrong and helped me with getting the right colors. I had a great appointment on Saturday at Joy. I was a walk-in on a very slow day. The staff was lovely m and the salon pretty and clean. Jessica dedicated over half an hour to my gel manicure - immaculately filing and painting my nails, followed by a shoulder massage while they "dried". I've been getting my nails done for 20yrs now and this place is among the best!  I got a gel French manicure and a spa pedicure and they were careful and took their time and had a HUGE selection of colors. Unlike some places where you are rushed to select colors they allow you to sit for your pedi and they bring wheels to you with all of the colors they offer so you can take your time and pick. The designs offered looked like a lot of the pedicures you find on Pinterest that a lot of salons aren't up to date on or don't feel like doing because they are time consuming. I came here with my bridal party for manis/pedis so there were 7 of us and we all had a wonderful experience. Everyone was beyond friendly from the start. We had brought champagne and mimosas and snacks and they had brought out a table for us to use and napkins and were so kind if we made spills and were more than accommodating. They went above and beyond for each of us with our manis and pedis and giving extra massages. They just seemed to really cater to our bridal party experience which was a huge deal for us. I felt like we all bonded with all of the ladies in addition to actually enjoying our bridal experience. It was wonderful!! I will definitely be coming back again.
