so I work down the block and pretty new to the area looking for somewhere to get my nails done that I like. My co workers told me to try this place despise their rating on yelp i said why not - so I go basic pedicure and and a gel French Manicure who can fuck that up. Apparently this place. I showed him a bubble in the gel white line it's ok I kept saying something so he covered it. And the lines Re uneven and he kept saying they are wouldn't fix it. My nails itself are uneven from filing and he says they're not. I'm paying 55 dollars for this I'm right you are not. Oh and the tissue came off my toes after a pedicure and smudged a nail and he huffed and puffed some shit. MOTHER FUCKER this is your job. I knew I shouldn't have come to this place. However I had a gift certificate and I did not want it to go to waste. I asked for a little gem on my nail. It's a little bow. The man that did my nails put a big blob of glue it looks horrible. I'm sitting here waiting for someone to fix it. I've been sitting here for a very long time. He also did not do a very good job with the color. He left color on the edges looks like I did it at home. I've gone here numerous times in the past and will never return. The older gentleman who did my SNS nails used the wrong color.  I asked for pink and got a disgusting red orange color. He was rude to me and yelled at me during the process about one of my nails being too short. When the process was complete,  I couldn't believe how terrible my nails looked and thought that maybe the lighting was causing my nails to look so horrible.  I went back a few hours later to show them how terrible my nails looked,  not only the color,  but the appearance of the nails looked dull and smudged. The owner of the salon and the gentleman argued profusely in front of me and then both started yelling at me,  with the owner telling me that she would change the color on my toes,  which were pink,  the color of my nails. I pretty much demanded that they redo my SNS to the color and quality that I am used to.  She told me that they were too busy the next day,  but meanwhile they only had 2 appointments in the book. She also argued that the SNS could not be taken off, even though I've soaked mine off myself numerous times. The next day I decided I didn't have time to go through this, and sometime after noon,  my index finger nail completely shattered. Today was the first time that I went to this place. My sister and I went together and neither one of us was thrilled. I called ahead and I made an appointment for a full set, a fill, and a pedicure. As soon as we walked in the door, they rushed us to find a color. I didn't even have time to look, I had my sister look and bring me colors over while I got my pedicure. The pedicure was fine, it was the manicure that was a problem. They made her sit there the whole time and wait until some guy walked over and started giving her a manicure. She picked a Gel color to go with her full set. The guy finished cutting her nails and whatnot and then he pulled out the uv light for the gel (he wanted to paint just her regular nails), she told him that she needed nails put on. He stood up, was pointing and yelling at her, he threw the cords for the uv light, and made her go sit in a different chair. At this point I got done and sat next to her. The girl on my other side got there after my sister and yet she got her nails done first. On to the fill, I needed my nails cut and instead of cutting them with clippers, she ground them off. She ground my thumb so far down to the skin, then she filed them. I told her that she was filing my skin and she blamed me and said, "well you wanted them short." Okay, I let that go. She almost forgot to actually fill my nails with gel. Then I picked grey as my color and I wanted black tips. She painted my nails the grey color, they came out fine. Then she put on the black for the tips and she joked that my thumb nail was short and that she was just going to paint the skin... Turns out, she wasn't joking. THEN, I get the bill. $80, my fill should have been $25 according to the pamphlet but it was $45. I questioned it and got told that I got charged extra because I got them painted. What in the fresh fuckery is that?!? The paint should be included. Got home, one of my nails was so pointy on the end, I could have speared a fish out of water and two of them were already chipped. Today was my first day visiting the salon. My sister and I decided to give it a try, I must say that if it were possible to give zero stars I would. My experience was not great at all, upon walking into the salon we were seated and my sister did not have a long wait at all to get her pedicure done. I was pushed around from seat to seat until finally someone sat down in front of me to do my manicure. I told him that I would like a full set with gel Polish. He nodded his head and began to push back my cuticles! That's all he did! My nails were still very crooked and jagged. Nothing else, and he started to get the dryers out and was ready to start painting. I told him that I had wanted a full set, he became very irate and started screaming and pointing at me. Once again I was pushed around from chair to chair. Once someone had sat down with me she had started to work on my nails, digging very deeply into my skin to the point that my pinky bled. My sister was also getting her nails done at this time and the woman cut her thumbnail to short and told my sister that she would just paint the skin. Which she did! After getting home and only having our nails done for a few hours the polish started to chip. All in all we did not have a great experience and will not be returning to the salon. Read Less

My mom and I used to go here.... Maybe every 3 weeks or so. We loved it. Great quality, massages, good prices. Today, The one lady, who I think is the owner, would not honor the coupon card. It is the type of card where you buy 10 manicures get the 10th free. The card clearly states a manicure not an eyebrow. The lady would not honor the manicure/discount. Never had a manicure in my life, and one day, only a year ago, my daughter convinced me to go with her and get one here. I am in my mid-60's.I felt uncomfortable, going "outside my comfort level" but, oh, it was lovely..and I loved how pretty my hands looked. If I had put up this review 2 years ago it would have been much higher. They are always changing staff. As soon as you like someone they are gone. I went here with a friend last week and I will never be back. I even took my personal box I paid for with my file and scrub and stuff when I left since they will never see me again. They did an awful job and when my friend asked them to fix it they tried to charge her $6 for a polish change! What?! I was very disappointed. Seems to me that they are only good for pedicures. I got acrylics done here last week and I was pleased with how they came out but I asked the guy for a design and he thought he was just going to draw anything but I told him I'd like to pick it out. When I asked to change the black design to a pink one he argued with me how it would look bad, personally I think that's rude! It was way over priced. I paid $40 for regular white tip acrylics that requires no painting and a design on two fingers. The next day the bottom of my acrylics were already chipping off. Wonderful! Very clean, great service, and the prices are very reasonable! Walked in on a Saturday morning with my sister for pedicures and were immediately helped...no wait! I can't believe everything that was included in a basic $22 pedicure...warm wax for my heels and a massage while my feet were under the dryer! this place was a joke. thought they were rude from the moment I walked in. the lady was in my face talking to me and I thought it was over priced. the place itself completely turned me off. it was so small and the smell was so strong, they had the door open on a humid day which made it unbearable and no air flow or air conditioning what so ever. didn't even stay to get my nails done after kicking me out of chair. So far this has been the best place in the area. Very clean. Prices are reasonable. I went in for a pedicure and manicure. Only weird thing for me is that the guys do the pedicure. It a lil weird I always had females doing my pedicure before. Manicure was okay. First coating was light so they did another one but on the second one the lady didn't cover the sides so you can see missing spots. I have been dying to get a pedicure, honestly my feet were too! So glad my mother called ahead for an appointment because when we arrived this little place was full of people. Which really doesn't surprise me, this team of people really know nails, and massage.So when we walk in we are greeted with lots of hellos, and welcomes. After that we explain about our appointment (which is not needed, but I recommend making one), anyway we select our colors and we are whisked away to spa heaven. Granted the selection of colors is not too vast,but does vary. We pick up our personal boxes that contain the tools used for the pedicure. These are such a great idea, you buy a box of tools for $3.00 and no one else uses them, they shall only touch your tootsies. Anyway we are both placed in very comfortable leather massage chairs and the pampering begins. We both decide to splurge a bit and get the most expensive option ($55), it was worth it! It is called the papaya massage, and comes with two scrubs and a 20 minute foot massage. However if you are looking for a cheaper option you could always get the hot rocks massage (really relaxing after a long day on your feet), or some other types. When your feet are all done and painted you are walked back to the drying area, here they then give you a nice neck and back massage, for free of course! Overall the experience and the results were great, my feet have never looked better. I will definitely be back, and not only for the pedicure. I always have trouble getting my eyebrows perfectly aligned, and that embarrassing mustache line is just dreadful. I come to the New li to get them both down. The lady that does it is very good and does her work quick. They bring you to a private room so it is less obvious to other costumers what is happening. I truly have nothing bad to say about the salon, the service, or the staff. The only problem for me is parking. The building is tucked back behind a friendly's restaurant and wedged between two other businesses, so finding parking can be bit of a hassle. Went here for our back to school pampering...with my daughters (10 and 11) got pedicure,manicure, eyes and lips waxed and was very happy with all of it...although the lemon and other pedicures seemed GREAT....we got the basic and were surprised by all the extras that were part of the basic including the massage chairs, the heel wax.  Super busy when we went, but everyone was very nice and never felt rushed..... Were super nice to my kids prices were reasonable.... Certainly will go back they seemed to have a large number of repeat customers who spoke highly of the place, always a good sign!! Read Less

I can't speak for their manicures and pedicures, because I've never had one here, however their foot reflexology and massage services are excellent. Foot reflexology is a ridiculously cheap $20 for 30 minutes (also available at an affordable hourly rate), and it takes place in a back room, where they play relaxing music, keep the lights down, and cover you with a warm blanket while they do the reflexology, which is essentially a very good, deep massage of the feet and legs, combined with pressure point techniques. I've found I need to go home and take a nap afterward, I'm so relaxed. It is an excellent value. If you're in a hurry, call ahead (same day is fine) to secure an appointment, otherwise, you may have to wait 20 minutes or so. If you do have to wait, however, you can enjoy any one of a number of fantastic trashy magazines they have in the comfortable waiting area, along with complimentary coffee. At the holidays, they even gave me a choice of a number of hand-beaded rings that were super cute - a free gift. They also have a discount card program for repeat visitors. Service is excellent.
