Not a great experience when the man doing your pedicure gets up and takes money from another customer, gives change and then puts the $5.00 tip he is given in his jeans pocket. I love sunshine nails. I have been going there for years . When the girl I had been going to for years moved I hated that I had to have someone else but I was pleasantly surprised when Sally was equally as good. Over the years I've found that all of their employees are great whoever wrote that Annie wasn't friendly or had a bad attitude certainly was mistaken Annie is always friendly and does a fantastic job. I've been coming to this nail salon for a couple months now and each time I leave very happy with my nail results!! The salon is clean, wait time is relatively short, staff is nice! I always walk in with a vision for my nails and they always execute it perfectly! Staff is patient with me despite my suggestions while the manicure is in progress...but what can I say, I'm a girl who knows what she wants!  I love showing off my manicure and I receive compliments on them everywhere I go, always making sure to refer this place to all who are local. Also, if for whatever reason something gets chipped or a gem falls off, they've always been willing to fix it for free to make sure it stays throughout the duration. Love this place. I was going to 2 different places one in Springfield and one in Clifton Heights -I didn't really care for either place but I love getting my nails done, so I would just alternate between the two. I had another one that I went to years ago in Secane that I loved but I hated hearing from the husband and wife complaining about their failed marriage. The service was sub par. I got a gel manicure and the girl rushed through. I understand that it's a business and they'd love to get as many as possible but now I have to walk around with this for two weeks...if they even last that long. SO RUDE!When I paid, I had the woman's gratuity sitting on top of my wallet underneath my credit card and receipt (all of which were on the table) while I signed my credit card receipt. The lady just snatched her tip from off of my wallet and from under my credit card and receipt. I called her out on it and now I'm letting you know because I just did not appreciate her actions. This is my go-to manicure/ pedicure place- it is clean, the staff are polite, and it is small enough that you feel you are getting the attention you deserve on your treatment. They have a good selection of OPI polish, magazines to read, and a TV to gaze at as you relax. Read Less

I have been going there for years. They used to have relaxing music on, there was always someone there to greet you, they had the televisions on HGTV or other basic channels and they were muted with the CC so it didn't interfere with the relaxing music. It had been few months since I was able to go back and yesterday was a HUGE disappointment.I went in and noticed that they had the news blasting on the tvs, the air was off and they had all of the doors open. It was very hot.  They weren't the same people that used to be there. They just were not as nice. They used to have the ambiance of a much more upscale salon...not anymore. One more huge disappointment was that they had a HUGE sign that said "15% off student discount". I go to present my college ID and they tell me "oh no...we only do that for high school student for prom." No clarification, no apology.
