I visited this place few times, and I only have to get my nails done with one person because I don't like the rest of their work. There is a gentleman who is beyond rude and he will do the dirtiest job ever. I don't like to tell him what to do, if he is not even consider to listen. He is all about taking customers but he is not mindful of their time and patience. I have been going here recently because they have a powder called marble that my regular salon doesn't have. However each time I go I have been dissatisfied. I have been sucking it up because of the powder but I can't do it anymore. Each time I have gone I have been serviced by the older man. This man frequently takes smoke breaks in the middle of doing my nails, and comes back smelling strongly of cigarettes. He smokes right outside of the door and it comes into the salon. This man is also generally unpleasant to be around. He is rough with handling my hands, pushing and pulling my arms to position them as he wants. He seems annoyed with my presence. He also held my fingers so hard one time that his nails left marks that were still painful the next day. Additionally, each time I have had my nails done, they have been uneven, and crooked, which unfortunately I did not notice until I left. The staff there, especially the man, made me too uncomfortable to go back and say something. Also, each time I have gone there has been extra acrylic that hangs over the edge around my cuticles which should have been filed down. These extra edges do come off after a few days, but then the rest of the nail starts to come up at the corners. Finally, the polish applied never reaches down to my cuticle at the bottom, and often does not fully cover the sides. Today was my first and last time in this salon. I must start by saying that I am a very easy-going person and have never left a negative review for any company. However, the way I was treated today certainly warrants a negative review. One the the technicians refused to give me a pedicure today. I was told by another technician that it was because it was because she thought I wouldn't tip her. Since I have never been in the salon before and had not communicated with that technician, I can only assume that she thought I wouldn't tip her because I am an African-American female. I respectfully approached the manager about this situation of which he was well aware. I received an acknowledgment but not an apology. I was at Pro Nails on 4/14/17 Good Friday for a pedicure. They use something that looks like a cheese grater to scrap your feet. While the girl was using it I did feel a few spots that I knew were going to hurt. I never expected to not be able to walk the next day! I have gouges on both my heels and side of my foot. The cuts were bleeding and they were deep! Please be careful when they use this on you. I went back to show them and they gave me some Neosporin and a few band aids. That's it! This place is filthy on the inside, they rush through manicures, and are not receptive to your opinions. My nails were SO uneven and they gave me attitude when I asked to make them even. Then after the gel paint job, it looks like I'm due for a manicure again. They didn't even get close to my cuticles, and yes there are still cuticles there after a manicure? Sometimes hit and miss depending upon who you get. The staff is pleasant and for the most part do a good job. I have been to pro nails on several occasions & I've been satisfied with the services. The workspaces are clean, there is a large selection of nail colors to choose from & many services are available. I mostly go for pedicures or eyebrow waxing. Jenny & Anna are excellent. There is another tall lady with glasses who is very good too (I don't know her name). Those I've encountered have been very pleasant. With some of the girls who are new there can be a language barrier, at times other workers try to interpret to help- but that doesn't always happen. For example, when my daughter wanted her water hot and asked, the person doing her pedicure smiled & nodded as if to acknowledge the request which never was fulfilled. Consequently she had a pedicure that was pretty unpleasant in a cold foot bath. Shiver!!!The business does a great job expediting too. I get my toes done in the summer and normally go somewhere else! When that place is closed we have twice been forced to choose another and twice made the mistake of going here. A very creepy old man appeared to take naps in the waxing room this time. This same man or takes care of the registrar and I guess manages things will go smoke out front often and makes the whole place stink!!! Each time I go in there I am disgusted by the smell due to his smoking smell that lingers on him as he walks though. My nails always chip in a day or two after going as well. The people who work there are nice but they do not really seem to know what they are doing, and it dies not at all seem clean! I will never go there again, even in desperation!!! I am not a hair and nail type girl, so when I go somewhere to get them done, I'm looking solely for comfort and quality. This place is the not the cheapest, also not the most expensive either. However,it does have the cleanest and friendliest people working. They always make my ornery daughter feel at home, even when she doesn't get her nails painted. I also think their one wax woman does an excellent job. I currently have a package at European Wax Center, but think that place is nowhere as good for eyebrows. Read Less

They're quick and the prices are good. They're good for eyebrows. Some of them make fun of you while they're doing pedicures. The service is better if you're still dressed up from work. If you don't look rich or snobby they won't do a good job. Read Less
