My gel manicure began to chip after 3-4 days. Gel will typically stay on my nails without chipping for 2 weeks. After leaving and getting in my car I realized that the polish is completely uneven and my nails weren't even trimmed to be straight. Save your money and go elsewhere. Read Less

I recently received a gel manicure and pedicure at Sky Nails in Wyomissing. I now have athlete's foot and fungus underneath my fingernails. I have never had these conditions before going to Sky Nails. My doctor felt strongly that the personnel didn't clean their tools sufficiently. Went for a pedicure with callus removal.  They never even worked on my callus.  My feet left looking and feeling the same.  The only different was they were now nicely polished.  Totally not worth the $30.  Has to wait a long time and the staff talked continuously in a different language. They over charged my credit card. $10.00. I went in there to get it corrected the gal said you gave me &5.00 tip. I said that don't equal 10.00 plus I didn't give you a tip. Oh you got deluxe petty. I said no you asked I declined. Oh you had design i said yes you offered i agreed but you didn't tell me it cost $5.00. Because I wouldn't do it. I had the worst experience here. Two months ahead, I made an appointment for me, two bridesmaids, and my mother-in-law for the day before my wedding. It was the day of my wedding rehearsal. I told the lady on the phone that my wedding rehearsal was at 5pm and I would have to leave at 4:45. She assured me that it would only take an hour and a half and she made the appointment for 3pm. I also confirmed the appointment the week of the wedding. We arrived at 3pm the day of the rehearsal, picked out our colors, and sat in the pedicure chairs for 45 minutes before one lady started my matron of honor's pedicure. I continually asked why they had not started on the rest of us and the lady just kept saying "Sorry, sorry," and smiling!! I got furious and asked who the manager was. It was 4pm before they even started pedicures and manicures for the rest of us. They got us out of there at 4:45, but the woman working on my nails was rude and did them incorrectly. She put on a shiny shellac color instead of the matte color I asked her, just because she said it looked nicer. I said no, I want the color I picked, and she had to do it again. She also put my acrylic tips on incorreclty. I had to have them repaired at another nail salon. Sky Nails gave me three $3 off coupons for my trouble....ridiculous. I will never use them because I will never go back there. They took walk-ins when they knew they had a wedding party coming in with appointments. I DO NOT recommend this place. Read Less
