I debated on going to a regular nail salon vs. coming here, and I chose Lords and Ladies because I thought the skill and professionalism would be much higher. I got my nails done for a vacation on a Monday, and I don't usually get acrylic tips but this was a special occasion, I was leaving for vacation on Wednesday. The tech was very nice and friendly, but it took almost 2 hours. The work wasn't bad, but I have seen much better. The service was $54. On Wednesday, the day of my trip, 2 days after getting my nails done, as I was on my way out of town, 2 nails broke. A 3rd nail broke when I was in the airport. I took a picture and emailed it to the general email box that I found off Lords and Ladies Instagram that same afternoon. I would've called that day, but it was already after 10pm, and I was going to be on a flight for several hours. I ended up just cutting the nails down but one was so short, that I just peeled them off. Acrylic done right shouldn't be able to just simply peel off! So I get back and I call, and now they're saying since it's been 2 weeks they can't really do anything for me except MAYBE give me a discount on a refill, which I can't even get cause I've already taken the nails off. This whole situation just keeps getting worse. I just can't believe that a place that provides services won't even work with clients to fix what was wrong. This is unbelievable. Never again. Cheap press ons last longer than a week!! I've learned my lesson. Go to a regular nail salon instead of a high priced "fancy" salon to get better work done.

I usually always leave this place glowing and so happy with my nails! I always go to the Sinking Springs one but decided to give Exeter a try, what a huge mistake. This time I went and I am beyond upset. The lady I had was awful... she didn't speak to me almost the entire time. She said a few things here and there and asked questions about my nails. She asked the length and I told her as short as possible and I showed her the color I wanted! Needless to say she did an entire different color and the length was so long. I wound up coming home and fixing the nails myself and wasting time and 54.00 when all i want is a redund... I feel so disgusted I am actually going to have them removed today 😣 this sucks cause I needed them done for a party I am attending this weekend. Never again will I return to the Exwter Lords and Ladies. Like I said I'm beyond upset... 54.00 for nothing.

The girls are so pleasant and the service is always top notch. It's hard for me to stick to one stylist because unfortunately I never leave 100% feeling beautiful. My hair is never styled right and I always go home to tame the frizz down. The color is sometimes off also. Unless you go on a sun, mon, or tues for the specials... it's not worth going. Atmosphere is nice though.

Ladies did a fantastic job on my hair. I've had nails and toes done here before and also a massage which was amazing. Beautiful inside, upscale. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Pricey.

I bought my wife a gift card to lords and ladies for Mother's Day. My wife went in today to get her hair colored. She came back home with hair dye past her hair line in the front and the back of her neck, cleaning pads were used but did not remove the left over dye. I called back to bring it to they're attention. Nothing was done to fix the left over dye on her neck or forehead. Note, that it came out to 62$ (The entire gift card) Just to get her roots dyed. I feel that it is unacceptable especially for the price.

Had a great experience!! I got an appointment right away for the day and time needed! This was my first time here. I wanted my nails done for a wedding I was in. The technician (Lisa) was super nice and very friendly!!! I had a gel French manicure done with some nail art and I must say she did a fabulous job! I am very pleased with the overall experience. Also, a few days later, I got a followup call (I'm guessing it was a manager or maybe the owner I don't remember), but I thought that was very nice! I don't usually get my nails done, but I may just have to go back! :)

I've been seeing a chiropractor for some time who has helped me immensely with some back and neck pain I had been having. But he has no massage therapist on staff. I was experiencing some additional muscle tension and pain in my back and neck area that I knew was muscular in nature. I was fortunate enough to be introduced to Anthony at the Exeter Lords and Ladies. He was excellent! I didn't require attention to my whole body and he was more than accommodating in concentrating on my entire back, neck and shoulder area for my entire hour. His technique is wonderful and did stretches with me as well. I could not have asked for a better experience. I wish I could afford to see him once a month! I can't see him that often, but he will be seeing me again in about six months. I highly recommend him! In my past I was also a massage therapist so I have some basis for evaluation. Consider this a rave review!

I go see Carly by a friend's recommendation. She is amazingly talented, efficient, adorable, professional, and I love my hair cut now more than ever. Definitely recommend LL, Carly especially!!

Called lords and ladies Exeter for a price estimate to style my daughters hair for homecoming. Was quoted 25$ for a wash and dry. Â Was asked if she was wanting an updo and she said no, just curled and mostly down. Â Was quoted an approximate price of 45$ - 55$ depending on how much , if any, pinning was involved on the sides of her hair. Â I arrived to pick her up and was charged 74$! Without much of an explanation why. Â My daughters hair was curled a pinned in a half up half down style just as she described when calling for an estimate. Â In speaking with others this is a common practice there. Â She was there for a total of 45 min. Â Her hair looked beautiful but I cannot justify being taken like that. Â We will not be returning

I came here as a part of a wedding party and I was very happy with everything! I first saw Nathalie for a manicure and she was quick, amazingly neat with her work, and easy to talk to. She was absolutely wonderful. The next day I came in and had Sammy for my hair and make up. She was phenomenal! I have shorter hair and she was really great at getting it all up in an up-do. When it came to my make up she was great about listening to what I was comfortable with and she made me look more beautiful than I had ever looked before! I wish she lived in Chicago so that I could go to her all the time! These two girls come highly recommended in my book!

Alex is the new barber at Lords and Ladies in Exeter. He gave my husband a haircut that was clean, modern and well-groomed. He only does men's haircuts, but gave a haircut that was half the price of some of the stylists who made my husband look awful. If you are looking for an expert stylist, try Sheri. She's a little pricey, no specials with her, but you get exactly what you ask for. Sheri is very personable as well.

Horrible experience. I previously went to L&L in Sinking Spring and fell in love. I waited last minute to schedule an appointment and Sinking Spring was backed up for 2 weeks so I figured what could harm going to another location. Exeter disappointed me. My appointment was scheduled for 5:45pm. My stylist came out and stated she was behind and it would be about 30 more minutes. I understand things happen-- but instead of trying to sell me on other services she could have been a bit more apologetic... So come 630pm I am still sitting around waiting with no one checking in on me. I walked out and will not be back.

The stylists are top notch. My only complaint (and the reason for only three stars) is that they no longer allow you to use a credit card or gift card for tips.Like so many, I rarely carry cash, so the stylists are the ones who suffer when clients forget tip money. The owners have conveniently put an atm in the lobby for just this problem. Win for them, as they make extra money on fees, but I have no desire to be charged fees for trying to tip great service. Lords and Ladies, put customer service and your stylists before making even more profit.

I've been going to Lords & Ladies in Exeter for about a year, and I have never had a bad experience. Â When you walk in the door, the receptionists greet you with a smile. Â Your stylist (mine is Morgan and she is AWESOME!) will come over and take you to her station. Â If you want coffee, water or anything, she will make sure to bring it to you. Â They will go over all of your options and accommodate you as best as possible. Â Their prices are reasonable and they run salon specials on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday with certain stylists. Â I recommend L&L to anyone that will listen :)

I debated on going to a regular nail salon vs. coming here, and I chose Lords and Ladies because I thought the skill and professionalism would be much higher. I got my nails done for a vacation on a Monday, and I don't usually get acrylic tips but this was a special occasion, I was leaving for vacation on Wednesday. The tech was very nice and friendly, but it took almost 2 hours. The work wasn't bad, but I have seen much better. The service was $54. The girls are so pleasant and the service is always top notch. It's hard for me to stick to one stylist because unfortunately I never leave 100% feeling beautiful. My hair is never styled right and I always go home to tame the frizz down. The color is sometimes off also. Unless you go on a sun, mon, or tues for the specials... it's not worth going. The technician (Lisa) was super nice and very friendly!!! I had a gel French manicure done with some nail art and I must say she did a fabulous job! I am very pleased with the overall experience. I've been seeing a chiropractor for some time who has helped me immensely with some back and neck pain I had been having. But he has no massage therapist on staff. I was experiencing some additional muscle tension and pain in my back and neck area that I knew was muscular in nature. I came here as a part of a wedding party and I was very happy with everything! I first saw Nathalie for a manicure and she was quick, amazingly neat with her work, and easy to talk to.
