I used to go here regularly because it was the closest nail salon to my house and also relatively cheap,  but I decided I would rather drive out of my way. The owner has her dogs in the salon all the time and they jump on all the chairs and even the tables. I don't see how this can possibly be sanitary. It smells like dog in the salon,  the floors are filthy,  there were still Christmas decorations up in July, and the place does not feel,  look,  or smell very clean at all.  The younger guys working there would rather watch the TV than do your nails and they do only a mediocre job as far as any sort of design or new style.  There are much better places to go in Berks for nails. I have been getting my nails done & pedicures here for over a year now.  Kiki & Tony (the owners) do a nice job.  I have a lot of fun joking around with them & socializing with other customers.  Don't be shocked when you're greated by their little doggies Zeus & Titan who are part of the staff.  If you want a professional spa experience this may not be your cup of tea.  But if you want your nails & toes done at a reasonable price in a casual atmosphere I highly recommend them. I've had my nails done 4 or 5 times at Kiki's now and all but one of my experiences has been excellent.  Kiki's is super clean, bright and has a number of fingernail stations and pedicure chairs.  Their color selection seems a little limited to me but I don't generally go for anything too crazy. I wish I knew the names of the staff!  The two women who have done my nails have been excellent.  They both were able to put acrylic over my natural nails in such a way that the natural shape wasn't altered and didn't leave my nails incredibly thick (which kinda drives me crazy!)  They both have incredible dremel tool skills-- neither of them have left me with huge dents in my natural nail bed so that week when I'm trying to stretch out the time until my next fill-in doesn't look too bad. As for the 1 bad experience-- a younger male did my nails a couple of weeks ago.  I got there in the middle of a Yankees game on their big tv and he was much more interested in the game than in my nails.  He cut my cuticles with the dremel tool and I bled.  He left my nail tips fairly rough and they kept catching on my clothes.  After a couple of days, the acrylic separated from 2 of my nails and I ended up breaking them.  Also, that week, I had white tips done and he put the curve way too low on my nails and they looked weird.  He didn't follow the same procedure as the women do.  As soon as I was under the fans, he flung himself on a couch and finished watching the baseball game.  It just didn't feel "pamper-y" at all.  I felt like I was bothering him. That said, I'm still going there twice a month for my fill-ins.  I just try to get there at an off time and get one of the women to help me. Read Less
