I came to Nail Tech with my mother and sister in law as last minute walk ins for mani/Pedi's after a horrible experience at another nail salon. Nail Tech employees were extremely nice the entire time we were here. Our nails looked beautiful and the experience was fabulous. I absolutely love this place! I am very particular with my nails, and Jenny did a great job! I had gotten a refill and wanted the almond shape nails, she was amazing! If I could rate a 0 I would. Customer service was horrendous. My husband got me a gift card for Mother's Day which is the ONLY reason I went there. I called ahead of time to ask if I needed an appointment and the guy was rude and hung up on me. When my sister and I went for pedicures, the women was extremely rude and pushy as soon as we walked in. We paid extra for what should have been a decent pedicure and it was quick and nothing special. My sisters polish was also uneven. After paying (and tipping, don't ask me why I tipped her anything) I said thank you and the lady just walked away and said "yeah!" Would NEVER go back! Would never recommend to anyone. Read Less

They do a decent job but I went in on a Sunday and they were busy. I put my name down for a fill and was the next on the list. 5 girls came after me and because they were pedicures were called before me and I am a regular customer. That to me is very inconsiderate. Why should their service take precedence over mine? I crossed my name off and will be going somewhere else. It also happened to me at the Sch Mall, the only one that is open now. Went there 1 time never again. The lady got mad because I wanted my nails taken off, she was waiting on 2 customers at 1 time not giving the individual attention you usually get somewhere else . She actually left some of the acrylic nail on, now I have to pay someone else to take them off. They should stop worrying about their appearance and give personalized attention to customers. It was horrible. My daughter was crying when taking them off because the fake nail cut into her real nail. She paid a lot for them and had trouble taking them off after soaking in acetone like the website said!! My daughters nail was bleeding!! This place is horrible and in acceptable. Don't ever go there! We hated it. Never going back! Also while applying the nails their workers bandaid fell off the finger and fell on my daughter . It was bloody and plane out disgusting. My mother and I came in for mani and pedi. Stephanie was my tech and she did a great job. Janet was my mother's tech and she was on the phone most of the time she worked on my mom. Not only was my mom sitting in the chair while she was on the phone, Janet actually walked away when her cell was disconnected and grabbed a work land line to call the person back she was initially speaking with as my mom sat there. She called the person back, put the cordless phone on speaker and ...attempted to call the man she was talking to back. I actually told her to please just get my mom's nails done so we could leave. I was appealed by her lack of professionalism and we were both very disappointed with her behavior. We will never go back agsain. As I type this she is calling someone again on the landline. Do I have to give one star? Jay didn't even look at my nails as he was filing them. I'm pretty sure he also didn't look as he was polishing.  Gel polish more on my skin than my nails. Biggest waste of $28 and 45 min I've ever spent. I live in Philly and was home for the weekend. I pay less in Philly but get a much better manicure! Read Less

My experience from Nail Tech is absolutely horrible. I will never go back there. I am normally not one to rate badly on places. I will give them a chance and the benefit of the doubt before I speak negatively about them. However, within less than a week my acrylic nails were already starting to chip and lift up from my real nail. I called the manager and he said he would fix them. When I went into the establishment to get them fixed he claimed I said my nail broke on the phone and put those words in my mouth when I said any of the broke. One of the ladies there gave me a hard time from the start. I also got my toenails painted and the individual who did them never got all the nail polish off that i was wearing before!! Lastly, the nail is starting to peel up on the underside of the nail. This is one official week after I got them done. Completely unacceptable. AWFUL, and painful all the way around. I got my nails done there once and will never ever do so again. Aside from the fact that the nail tech was in a rush and kept burning me with the drill thing (left it in one place too long on every nail) they were more expensive than other places and my nails didn't even look good at the end. They were shaped really weird (the tops of my nails were like concave rather than straight across (supposed to be squared) and the acrylic was way too thick. Within a day or two the acrylic bubbled underneath and you could see a definitive line where they filled my nails at the bottom. This place just sucks, plain and simple. Interestingly, other people in my "usual" nail place (I don't get my nails done except for special occasions) have complained of similar problems at this place. One woman who I met at my "usual" place showed me where the Nail Tech people used the drill thing and ground right through the center of her nail and her hands got all infected with fungus. She was at my usual place to try to repair the damage and get her hands looking half decent for a wedding the next day.Beware this place. Read Less
