I have been coming to the body bar McKnight for about 2 years now and have always had an amazing experience! The staff is beyond friendly and accommodating. I see Kristi for spray tanning and have never been dissatisfied! It is by far the most natural spray tan I've ever had! Never orange or streaky! I am a hair stylist and I receive so many compliments from clients on how real my tan looks. If I take proper care of my spray tan (moisturizing after every shower) it will last me anywhere from one in a half to two weeks, two weeks no problem in the summer! The staff also gives you a follow up sheet after your tan so you can remember what to do which is very helpful. The girl who gave me my massage seemed nice. BUT, the walls aren't sound proof. I didn't hear the entirety of the conversation. But, I heard laughing and "I don't even want to be here". Not to mention I heard her give out a big yawn about 3 times. She didn't focus on the areas requested. There was extremely little to no pressure. It was a gift cert. For an intro special. And that was VERY clear. Curious what their return rate is? I found it odd they didn't specifically ask what type of massage I wanted? Deep tissue, hot stone, sports, etc. They also didn't ask me if I prefer a male or female masseuse which I've always been asked at other spas. I was disappointed and glad this was a gift and I didn't have to pay minus 20% gratuity despite my experience I believe in karma. I was regularly going there every month to have my eye brows waxed, until I received negative feedback and attitude on the way I wanted them waxed and have always had them waxed and haven't returned since. (This was from a girl who didn't normally wax my eyebrows) After this experience I surely will not be returning for ANY service. Save your money. You can get the same services done at cheaper or comparable prices down the street, without the attitude. Read Less

I started using the Body Bar for prenatal massage about four years ago. Since then, I've gone for facials, massage, tanning, and became a member of their fitness facility. They offer so much and the prices are unbeatable for the professional, clean atmosphere. I left to try the new, big gym down the road and was back at Body Bar in no time. I absolutely loved the Body Bar! I just received my first Airbrush Tan and it came out beautifully!! The technician and the front desk staff were so friendly, and I got a ton of compliments on my tan. There are a variety of colors the technician is able to pick from so it was customized to my skin tone, not to mention they keep track of the color combination they use so you can do the same thing every time you go in :) I would definitely recommend the Body Bar to any friend of mine!! It’s been awhile since I last went for a facial service. I stop going for them regularly because I didn’t feel these services did anything dramatic for my skin and when I do go for them, it’s more like a pampering session for myself. After talking with Jessica the esthetician she educated me on a few little thing I change in my daily routine at home as well as getting facials at least once every three months my skin changed dramatically. The service at The Body Bar is amazing! When I first walked in, I thought it seemed kind of busy because the fitness center and classes are held in the front. The spa is in the rear of the facillity in its own private area. It was very relaxing back there, and very clean. I was impressed to see the staff cleaning the rooms after each service and chaging the linens. Everyone was very friendly and attentive and I loved hoe personable they were w/o talking too much!
