They claim to know the Ouidad cut, but that is not what was demonstrated. I have had this cut in NYC more than once and in Boston. What happened in Pittsburgh today was not Ouidad. My hair was ruined for the time being. Stylist was nice, but he did a horrible job. Read Less

I just had a haircut today from the phenomenal Tina...she took the time to assess and then "fix" what had become an unruly mop thanks to several months growth and some bad trims over the summer. Top three haircuts I've ever had and at a great price as well. Very professional yet welcoming atmosphere too! This spot is clearly *way* cooler than I am but the staff made me feel right at home. I have had three different stylists- Wendy, Deanna, and Tina. I can't even begin to explain how welcome I feel every time I walk through the doors. Constant smiles and hellos, all the way to "Can I get you a glass of water?". I have naturally dirty blonde hair, and I have dyed it blonde and gray and couldn't be more pleased with the out comes! I had my hair and makeup done here for my two-day wedding over Memorial Day and found it be a wonderful experience. I worked with Stephanie for my makeup and Wendy for my hair and both were terrific. With Wendy, I was able to give her a general idea of what I wanted for my hair (elegant, classic updo) and she was able to create two different, but equally elegant, styles for each day. Stephanie was able to give me makeup that allowed me to look like myself, but that much prettier for the special occasion. (I didn't do a trial run, although I did meet them about a month before so they could see me and know what I look like. I would recommend this if you're not a regular at the salon.) Both were friendly and kind, and willing to meet me at my reception venue on a Sunday (the salon is closed Sundays) in order to do my hair for the second day. I start a new job, I couldn't start without seeing Izear for a fresh color and style. He says "so when do you start your new position?" I say, "Monday" Izear then says "ok then we need to get your hair booming as it always does, do your eye brows and get a treatment for your eyes!" "I will have you going into your new position looking like a million dollars." The confidence I have in this man is impeccable. Wherever I am, a Facebook photo, store or work, the question I always get is "who does your hair it looks so nice." Reluctantly I say Izear, reluctantly, because, he has spoiled me over the last 30 years, and I think he should be all my girls and mine! But I share "Izear." My hair was butchered off here. I never understood how people could let this happen until it happened to me. I said I wanted a TRIM, and when asked about if I cared about my length, I said whatever needed to come off I was okay with. My hair is healthy, un-colored and trimmed regularly so not much needed to be taken off. But to the guy that cut my hair that translated into take it all off, up past my shoulders. It wasn't even a stylish cut, it was very blunt, suited for a child that doesn't care about texture or layering. This all happened on my birthday, two days before I started nursing school, and two days before I needed to renew my drivers license. All around terrible experience.
