Came here with my girlfriend to get her nails done. And I had a good time chatting it up with the owner. She was very nice and from what I could tell did an amazing job. 1st time trying this place since I was visiting a friend in the area...I was torn between 3 and 4 stars because my nail tech Beth was awesome...she basically made my entire experience amazing, but just rating the salon I'd say a 3/3.5. I'm SUPER picky about colors and the selection wasn't great and I'm also particular about using the same color on my nails and feet and they didn't have matching sets like most salons. So, not only was I not really able to pick the color I really was in the mood for I also was unable to pick a color that had a matching regular polish (I always get a shellac manicure and regular polish for my pedicure. I booked in an appointment with Justina and asked for reshaping and polish change. I wanted a galaxy glittery nails but changed my mind to purple blue chrome and it turned out better! This is my first acrylic but it was done on another shop but Justina gave me what I wanted that the other shop didnt give. My bridesmaids and I went to Nail Chic for mani-pedis the day before my wedding and had a great experience. The 3 staff members were very friendly, and the atmosphere was nice. They offered mimosas and snacks for our special occasion, though I don't think you can expect that without bringing in a bridal party. Very friendly atmosphere. I felt welcomed when I came in the door. I was offered a drink which was also very welcoming. The process was fine. Didn't take too long. I'm not one to be pampered. The $30 gel manicure price was fine/ average. I only wish they had more gel colors to pick from. They had enough buy typically before I head to the nail salon I have already googled a specific color that I'm looking for. My last salon was able to accommodate that. I absolutely love NailChic. Dana and Deb make their clients feel welcomed the moment you walk in. The salon is clean and I like how clients receive a box with their own nail supplies. Dana and Deb love what they do and it shows in their work. They do not rush and take the time to make sure you leave with what you want. The Zen pedicure space is my favorite part. Dana and Deb are the best I have found in the Greater Pittsburgh area!  Deb is an Acrylic nail genius, most shops around the area glue these cheap plastic tips onto your fingers before applying acrylic, whereas Deb does acrylic sculpting, building your acrylic tip up by hand, preventing the weakness that comes with the water solubility of super glue.  Nothing is worse than having that "tight new nail feeling", but you don't have that feeling when you walk out of Nailchic.  It's apparent that these ladies keep their clients best interest in mind, as you can tell when you get your own box for your nail tools, ensuring that you're only coming in contact with tools used exclusively on YOU.  Dana takes great pride in her pedicures, as she once apologized for only being able to give me an "express" when she really wanted to do the full pedi.  I'm not sure what the full pedi entails that I didn't get, since I walked out exfoliated, scrubbed, painted, buffed and smelling like lemongrass.  One other thing that blows me away.  The price!  Anyone else would charge a small fortune for an acrylic nail sculpting, but the price was about the same that those dirty asian salons charge for the "fast, glued tight and bloody" as I often refer to the kind of acrylic job I walked out with after visiting those places.  So when you come in, prepare to be pampered.  Prepare to spend time having great conversation, a glass of wine, some nice music in the kind of environment that you will truly feel comfortable in!  If that doesn't sway you to give them a try, maybe this will...I drive clear from Zelienople/Cranberry all the way to Dormont, that's how unique and special NailChic truly is!  Give them a try, what have you got to lose??
