I went to Miss T's last night and I am so pleased with the services! May did my toes and nails and I also got my eyebrows waxed, and everything was great. It's such a cute and quaint place that you'll never have to worry about a crowd. They have snacks too! I have a bad toe that was causing me a lot of pain and May was so kind about fixing it. My favorite salon in Pittsburgh! Miss T is a waxing expert and makes the whole process easy and Pink is a wonderfully skilled Nail technician. Top Notch. I moved here from Chicago a year ago. There is no shortage of good nail salons where I lived but finding one here was a bit of a feat. I lucked upon Miss T's place after some thorough research. I always get a gel manicure and Pink does an excellent job. The space is so pretty. Lots of natural light beams through the windows. Miss T's is an adorable little salon with very reasonable prices! They are also one of the few salons I've found who carry the Essie Couture line, which is not gel but extremely long wearing "regular" polish. I am typically a gel girl but after a bad set of acrylics for a friend's wedding I wanted to let my nails recover a bit with some regular polish.The customer service is excellent as well - I got engaged on a Sunday and called first thing on Monday and they were able to fit me in even though they were pretty booked up.The one thing I'd like to see more of is a bigger gel color selection. I ended up not getting gel, but I was taking a look at the options and there wasn't as much of a range as I have found at other salons. Not that big of a deal though!Overall the salon is clean, the staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable for the area. I would go back! Read Less

I ALWAYS enjoy my visit to Miss T's beauty salon! She is professional, friendly and always accommodating. Aside from her demeanor, the lounge is what really keeps me coming back. I cannot say enough positive, nice, wonderful things about this salon. I moved to Pittsburgh recently and I was saddened to depart ways with my old nail salon about 2 hours outside of the city. I did some research on Yelp and online for nail salons in Pittsburgh and came across Miss T's tried it, and I will never go anywhere else for my beauty needs. Every time I leave I am happy, satisfied, relaxed, and I feel at home almost when I go due to level of service they provide and the comfort they have given to me. The level of professionalism and kindness is something I have never seen before in a beauty salon making them unique and setting them a part from all others. I just moved to Pittsburgh and I want to thank God for Yelp! So I just left Miss. T's salon and I am so happy with my manicure and pedicure! I even set up an appointment to go every two weeks :) the atmosphere is relaxing and very calming. The view is gorgeous and her hospitality is wonderful. Also, She has a lot of colors to choose from. Waited over an hour for an eyelash fill after making an appointment a week prior, ended up walking out after waiting way past appointment time. Store was slammed so I could understand but I called the day before to make sure my appointment was still reserved and they told me they had enough time for me to come and in and get what I needed. Let's just tack on another 5-star review for Miss T's! I highly recommend this salon for shellac.Miss T's was my first shellac experience in Pittsburgh. I am a relatively recent transplant from Austin, Texas. And, I was a bit nervous about finding my new go-to place. So I dug through near-a-million Yelp reviews to decide where to try. And because of the insane amount of positive reviews Miss T's gets, it stood out from the rest immediately. So, I called earlier in the week to schedule a Saturday appointment. It was a bit tricky finding an appointment time that worked for both us of, but I took that as a good sign -- Miss T's is busy! And for good reason!As nearly everyone has commented on, the atmosphere is great. The space is small, but beautifully decorated, private, and super clean. Plus, Miss T has some snacks and water bottles out in the waiting area for clients. Everyone loves snacks.As far as shellac color choices go, the selection isn't as large as other salons I've been too. But within that selection you'll find most of the basics plus some other fun colors, too. So, it didn't feel like anything was really *missing*. And for my shellac, Miss T did a great job on my nails. Her attention to detail is immaculate. I've been to so many nail salons where they basically just rip at your cuticle beds, paint them, and don't even look twice. But Miss T really took the time to shape, trim, and paint my nails to perfection. She also managed to get it all done in just 35 minutes! Amazingly, she did so without me feeling rushed one bit. She made me feel welcomed but also got the job done! $35 might be a bit more than what other salons charge for shellac. But for what you get, I think it is absolutely worth it. I've never gotten a manicure in Pittsburgh, but Miss T looked promising so I decided to give it a shot. And I'm glad I did! Everything about Miss T is so cute and cozy and to top it all off, their service is great! My friend and I got our nails done by Pink and Tu and they were extremely friendly and conversational throughout our time there. In terms of color variety, they don't have a huge selection of colors but they have the basics so I still managed to find a color that I liked. I really liked how Tu did my nails, and as of today (Day 5) everything still looks perfect! For $20, you can get a decent manicure and nice experience -- I'd strongly recommend Miss T if you're planning on getting a manicure soon!  PS: they do make you complete the payment as your nails are drying, and volunteer to grab your wallet from your bag for you.. They did a poor job! They said they would redo the nails but would not give a refund! Even the gel polish they did was not done properly! I said I didn't want to come back to them, why waste anther 2 hours of my time! They said" oh so sorry we don't give refunds"! I will never go there again & I will let anyone I know that they should not go do business with them either. Read Less
