I've been looking for quite some time to find a great place for a pedicure in the northeast. I decided to try palace based on the great reviews, well that was a bad idea. I was extremely disappointed. I had to wait 30 mins until someone waited on me. Once we got started the pedicure was done before I could blink my eyes. There was about a 2 min massage on each leg/foot which I founded extremely disappointing given that's one of the main reasons I go for pedicures. The paint job was average at best. The best thing about this place is the adorable puppy that walks around and the massage chair. I wouldn't recommend nor will I be returning. Read Less

I really wanted to like this place but I am left underwhelmed.  I went in for a pedicure and it started out not great.  Unlike every other nail salon I've ever been to where I've picked my polish from a wall rack and then sat in the chair, this place handed me a basket with the nail colors, similar to picking gel colors.  I wanted a regular pedicure, and the first 3 colors I picked were gel. There was no way to tell that some of the samples are gel and others are regular.  I felt like the tech was getting annoyed with me.  I finally picked a regular polish color and the woman started my pedicure.  She was pretty aggressive with her tools, and drew blood twice.  The whole thing felt rushed.  I know I came in near the end of the day (around 4:30) but I felt like I came in 2 minutes before they close.  My pedicure lasted 6 days before it started peeling. Nancy does an excellent job and the manicures are the best!  Her gel manicures are reasonably priced and last almost 3 weeks. Her waxing is great. She makes you feel comfortable and relaxed.  Pedicures are the best.  Prices are great!   They honor the card they give you as well as I did get a free manicure.  Very nice clean place. Read Less

My toe nails are a mess and the foot Dr. suggested I go to a nail salon to make them presentable.  I contacted Palace Nails and explained that I have problem nails and  was about to go on vacation.  They told me to come in.  Jessica preformed a miracle!!  All of the ladies are so professional and friendly.  The salon is extremely clean and the chairs are so relaxing.My vacation was saved and I could wear my cute new sandals :) thanks to the wonderful ladies at Palace Nails & Salon.  This is definitely my go to Salon from now on.Thank You Ladies at the Palace!!! I have been here quite a few times and the service is always exceptional! Palace offers great service, beautiful nails, and really good prices. Best of all they offer waxing that is done well and for a really good price! The staff is very friendly and attentive. I walked in a little nervous because I had bad experiences with other nail shops in the area. This shop completely changed my perception. The nail tech was very friendly and engaged in conversation with me the entire time that I was there. I went on a Friday afternoon and didn't have to wait to be serviced. Overall, I was satisfied with my nails aside for the glitter that she put on my index finger that I didn't ask for. Despite that I would still rate this salon a 5/5. Read Less

I come to Philly a lot and always stay at the same hotel. For whatever reason I am never able to get my mani/pedi before I leave home and this time I chose to get them done in Philly at Palace. And am I glad I did!! I went as soon as they opened at ten and was greeted warmly when I walked in by the owner Nancy. Minutes later I was in a chair getting a gentle massage and having my pedi done. The place is bright and clean and the beauty therapists (as I call them) were efficient and pleasant in spirit. I don't usually like to chat when I'm getting my nail therapy but their personalities were so bright I couldn't help babbling from start to finish. I will definitely make this a permanent fixture in my trips to Philly. I'm very pleased and was in and out in an hour. Read Less

Just found my new spot. Nancy was wonderful. She did my nails the perfect length and shape for me! Also she did my eyebrows, the best I have ever seen. Rose did my mani/pedi and was awesome. Super chill & nice, she did an awesome job, I'm weird about people cutting my cuticles but she didn't nip me at all. I will definitely be going back.She also does eyelash extensions there!Mani/Pedi Special on Monday-Wednesday is $25, which is awesome! I believe it's also $10 for a regular manicure and $20 for a gel manicure, and they have matching nail polishes of gel and regular in case you want to do a gel manicure and regular pedicure :D They also let you tip on your card, which is a life saver if you're like me and you never have cash! I decided to try this place after not having lasting manis at Epitome. Once I stepped foot in here, I was very blessed. It's very nice inside, and their polish colors are amazing!!! Love the service here, the workers are very nice, and personable. Rose did my eyebrows and she did them better then anyone I had in Philly, and I lived here for 8 years. Best nail salon I've been to in a LONG time. With so many salons to choose from in the area, I looked on Yelp for the best one and I was not disappointed. I had a full set done, so did my mom, and my mom also had her eyebrows waxed. Let me start by saying, my mom and I walked in (without an appt) at 645 when they close at 730. There were 2 women working and we were immediately seated and worked on. Nancy did my and my moms nails and she did an excellent job. My moms eyebrows also look better than I've been seen them and it was only $5 for a wax!! On top of her excellent work, Nancy stayed an hour and a half past closing to finish our nails. She was so sweet the entire time and i think it's safe to say my family is now a lifetime customer of palace nail salon. Highly highly recommend this salon. I wish I could give this place more stars. I'm really into nail art, and some places will accommodate the crazy stuff I ask for, Palace being one of them, without blinking an eye, which I always appreciate. I got a pedicure an acrylic refill and gel polish (with designs of course). Pedicure was good, she took her time and we had a nice chat, super friendly. My biggest complaint is the fact that my toes started peeling and the polish on one toe was completely gone after two days and my gel polish began chipping after three days. I went to a different salon to get my nails done again 3 days later. I would go back, but I can't afford to get my nails done every three days, I need them to last at least a week, which is why they lose points in my book. Read Less

When you get right down to it, there are a ton of places in the Philly area to get your nails done so you have to be special to stand out. The ladies working here are all pros, unlike some places, this salon breeds consistency. They will go out of their way to make sure your experience and their services, are top notch. Prices are reasonable, especially when you consider that they really do take the time to carefully cut your cuticles and clean your nails and shape them the way you want. The salon is immaculate, even with a tiny yorkie running around (the thing barks but she's pretty friendly).  Also they don;t use paper towels, they use towels which they wash and dry, very eco friendly! I really don't know how this place isn't constantly packed, it's the best in the Northeast. Read Less

I liked this place a lot .. I had to wait awhile it was Friday so makes sense, either way it was worth it, the ladies are very nice and place is clean, the pedicure was great, they have this cool machine that helps clean the dead skin.. usually mani & peri is $28 according to the price list in the place but for some reason that day it was $25! Score for me!  .. Comparing price and service they win, a must try, I will be going again. & they give you a card after 5 visits the 6th one u get $5 off something or free eyebrow waxing. Read Less
