My sister was visiting from out of town and while I was at work I wanted to pay for her to get a mani/pedi! I work in Paoli so quickly looked up glitter nails, saw the five star reviews and called! The woman told me there was no way I could pay for her services without being there - they wouldn't take anything over the phone. Annoying, but okay! There's always Venmo. My sister came back with her fingers bright red saying she got cut and they did an okay job but the one nail was uneven and just all around "Eh" experience, but was grateful all the same. Now a week or so later, she said her big toe nail has been hurting all week and she went to her doctor and they told her she has a common infection people get from nail salons!! The first time I went, the nail tech did a great job with my gel manicure. She went the extra mile to apply bonding agent around the edges so that the manicure lasted and didn't chip. You can see in my pictures the 2-week mani!The second time I visited, a different nail tech was less detail oriented. She did not apply the bonding agent and seemed to be rushing. She smeared the gel polish around my cuticles and the color has streaking. The second mani doesn't look as professional. I have to say one of BEST NAIL SALONS I have been to. I got my eyebrows done and a pedicure and WOW! My brows look awesome, not to thin and they are even! The pedicure was great. This IS the BEST place for a mani pedi!!! Hands down! Don't show up in a rush...enjoy EVERY second of the massage during the pedicure. It is so worth it!!! And the price is right. For a 27 dollar pedicure (cheap for the main line) there was no skimping on anything! My pedicurist was attentive and took her time to make sure I was relaxed! The massage was amazing and my color looks great! I was in the chair for almost 45 minutes which is a luxury as I am usually rushed out at other salons. THIS PLACE IS THE WORST. AND HERES WHY:We have been coming here for the past 2ish years, we've had great experiences. It was low key, relaxing, and we could count on them to do a great job. But lately, this COMPLETELY changed. We have recently just got our nails done today, mind you, and the minute we walked in, we felt as if we were bothering them. Yes, they were busy and had all but one or two people working on a client, but they weren't friendly. They completely RUSHED THROUGH my nail job and I can CLEARLY see the streaks of the nail polish brush. NOT WELL DONE AT ALL. Now, my sister and mom came with me so I'm not sure how theirs turned out but all I know is that mine were completely unprofessional (an older and I think newer lady worked on me so I had never had her before but I can tell you now for sure she was NOT good). She didn't even bother to completely rub in my lotion and the towel she used on my hands was boiling hot, she didn't even check to let it cool. AND THE NAILS WAS NOT THE ONLY MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT. MY EYEBROWS.Now before I go any further, as I have already written a lot, I do want to say that I understand the subject matter is small in the grand scheme of things and quite unimportant relative to bigger world issues, BUT I'm specifically speaking about a a nail salon here and the services they offer which quite frankly IS extremely important in the business world.SO. I got my eyebrows waxed. BIGGEST MISTAKE. I asked for a small clean up and NOT a lot. Only underneath my eyebrow to get the sparse hairs. So the lady said okay! Thinking I was in good hands was part of this major mistake. SHE RIPPED MY SKIN OFF. SHE PUT WAY TOO MUCH OF THAT WAX AND BOOM. MY SKIN TURNED COMPLETELY RED UNDERNEATH AND I CAN EVEN SEE MY SECOND LAYER OF SKIN. IT WAS ALMOST EQUIVALENT TO BURN AS IT STUNG AFTERWARD AND STAYED RED. AND THAT WASN'T THE ONLY PART. SHE FREAKIN WAXED AND PLUCKED OFF MY HAIRS THAT WERE GROWING AS PART OF MY EYEBROW. She basically tried to shape them WHICH I DID NOT ASK FOR WHAT SO EVER. I ASKED FOR A CLEAN UP NO SHAPE. NO. SHAPE. BUT WHAT DID SHE DO. COMPLETELY RIPPED MY NATURAL GROWING HAIRS ON MY INNER EYE BROW. SHE LEFT THEM COMPLETELY UNEVEN AND UGLY. I HATED THEM. WORST JOB EVER. WHO DO THEY THINK THEY ARE TO JUST GO AHEAD AND TAKE OFF AS MUCH AS THEY THINK.And lastly, that's another thing. We came to the nail salon for great service, friendly people, and a trustworthy job. But this was not the case. We are sorry to no longer come here as we did have some great experiences. But we left extremely disappointed and a waist of money. I want a refund and I want to sue. I went here (for a regular polish manicure) because I was tired of my usual nail salon leaving sharp or ragged edges, not painting the full nail, and just being generally lackadaisical with my nail care. I cannot believe the quality job I got at Glitter & Polish, and I didn't even have an appointment! Julia did my nails, and she meticulously painted the ENTIRE nail. Many other salons do the slap-the-color-on thing where they give you straight edges that don't cover the entire nail. Also, no streaks...I have full color coverage...and nearly a week later I have NO chips, and they are even still shiny. This will now be my regular salon. Thanks for a great job! Read Less

By far the best pedicure I have had!! Carmen took her time and I never felt rushed! The leg and foot massage was great. I also had an acrylic refill with gel that was amazing as well and finished with a neck/shoulder massage . The salon is very clean and all the woman that work there are so friendly! It was great to go into a salon on a Saturday afternoon and just relax with out feeling rushed. I will definitely be back! Read Less

This review is for BROWS ONLY! I can't believe I've driven by this place so many times! I honestly just came by here because my regular place couldn't fit me in. Too bad because I found a new place for my brows. Yes, I get my brows done at nail places because I'm not paying 20 bucks for some brow bar specialist to do what I could just do at home if I wasn't so lazy. First impression? This place is clean honey! You know when you walk into a nail place and can feel the germs by just breathing the air? This ain't it. I didn't even see dust on the empty tables as I walked to the back. The staff was friendly and so bright towards me from the moment I walked in. Now y'all know that some nail places skimp on the customer service so that last tidbit matters. They have a special light that they use to examine your brows with. Imagine dentist office vibes without the nervous feelings. I told the lady that I want my brows cleaned up and fully intact by the time she was done -(I've been to a place that stripped them down to nothing before) - and she did exactly what I asked! She double checked with me after to make sure everything was perfect and I was so pleased with the results! I highly recommend this place for some brow renewal! Hmmm......I am really happy.  Amazing.  That's actually very hard to do- make me happy.This is a small place so if you are in a rush I suggest you make an appointment.This shop is located right next to "My Deli" in the heart of Paoli.You know the deli with the big black angus cow out front?  Well part in the rear and if you walk to the right towards the church you can go in the rear door of the nail place.I stopped in based on all the Yelp reviews and they needed 15-20 minutes to finish up with the ladies already there, so I ran to do an errand and when I came back they were ready to take me.I brought my own polish, but was happy to see that they indeed had the same color on their shelf.They carry OPI and Essie brands.Julia was the tech who helped me.  I am making the assumption she is the manager if not also the owner of this place.She was very nice, capable, didn't cut me and the polish went on beautifully.  Looks nice and crisp.  Time will only tell how long it lasts.Again this is a small shop...........and this was a no frills manicure.  $12--took about 20 minutes.I declined the massage offered while my nails dried under the blower.I will be returning. My friend and I just had the most amazing experience here! The best manicure and pedicure I've ever had in my life. The girls were super professional and the salon was exceptionally clean and tidy. They give you complimentary foot massages with hot stones and use an amazing scrub! It was so relaxing. The actual manicure/pedicure is so immaculate! And it doesn't stop there - they even give you a quick shoulder rub while your nails are drying!We'll definitely be coming back! Read Less
