I was looking for a new nail salon after being disappointed at others. Everytime I had a great manicure done at other salons it would chip within 2 days. After going to Sassy Nails my gel manicures last up to 4 weeks! The staff is super friendly and do great work. They did change management within the last month or so but they're still as good! And their prices are fair. Only thing is that they use latex gloves, so if you have an allergy to latex make sure to ask them not to. They've been accommodating with that request. This was my go-to place for 2.5 years because they were quick and low cost (all things considered). The quality has declined drastically in the last six months or so, and I've ended up with cuts and small drill burns, including one to my nail bed. It was a consistently mediocre experience, and I've opted to change salons and pay a bit more for better work. I was in a rush and saw this salon so that's how I chose it.  I got an acrylic set.  I asked to wash my hands after she was done filing the nail as there was debris all under my nail.  She told me I didn't need to wash them.  She cut me during the filing process.  Now that my nails are finished there is glue and polish all under my nail that has attached itself to my fingers!  I don't recommend this place. I came here with my mom and got a manicure and she got a pedicure. Only giving it three stars because everything seemed rushed and I didn't even get a massage for my hands (I don't know if it wasn't included or not). My nails still look fine but the amount of time it took and the quality of the overall manicure, if you can paint your own nails I would not have gone. The male owner treats customers terribly and almost always smells of smoke. I do not suggest going here because they rush clients out just to fit more in and your nails end up suffering because of it. One appointment I was late because I thought it was an hour later and the nail tech still fit me in even after I said "Are you sure I dont want you to rush" but then explained to the customer after me that they had to wait because it was my fault for coming late while pointing at me. Got a gel manicure here for the first time, $25 and so far so good. They have a wide varitey of nail polishes to choose from. I had an appointment, they did get me seated and started on my nails quickly. Would say saturdays are VERY busy so get there earlier rather than later. Read Less

Really annoyed that they asked me to put on a tip to my credit card even before I was finished being rung up, I hadn't even picked out my colors yet! My nails were on for two days and they already were cracking and lifting. Two nails lifted and came off. I went to get them fixed, they charged me and the next day two more popped off. I've had acrylic nails for 5 plus years and this has never happened. But obviously it's all my fault which they told me over and over. They also didn't even do the shape I wanted. Why this place isn't consistently rated 5 stars is beyond me. I go here every 2 weeks and am always taken (as a walk in) as soon as my colors are picked. Their spa pedicures last an hour for a great price. It's very clean and all of the nail techs are very friendly and talented. I would never go anywhere else in the area. Read Less

I was so pleasantly surprised to find such a fabulous salon while on vacation for a wedding last week. The prices were probably the best around and the services were handled professionally and I am so pleased with how my pedicure and eyebrow wax turned out. I agree with Angela Faraklas - Having an appointment means absolutely nothing. I walked out after waiting a half hour after my appointment passed. If there is a walk in that came in before you they go first, regardless of your appointment. They really don't look at their book, if they even have one. This nail salon doesn't really have a spa or relaxing atmosphere but the workers greet you as you walk in and ask you what you need. They do speak their own language to each other but they make the effort to talk to you as well. Recently they started doing spa pedicure with new products at an affordable price, I believe $35. I like to go here because there aren't too much pressure to get nicer pedicure from the workers. I wish they have more variety of colors and maybe leave the door open so it doesn't smell like chemicals and acetone when customers walk in. Besides that, I like this place. It is very convenient due to its location. I can get pedicure while I wait for my oil change at pep boys or stopping by at the bank. Read Less

I've been in search for a good nail salon since my long time nail "stylist" has moved to Texas. I am from the lansdale area but have followed her to as far as Vilanova. So, I don't let just anyone do my nails. After googling for liquid gel nail skins near me, I found Sassy's Nails. Of course, being a new customer I wasn't sure how my experience would be but knew I had to find a place soon-tracking to Texas every 2-3 was out of the question. I made an appointment and pleased from start to finish. The first time going, I only needed a refill so I help off on giving a review until I had to get both pink & white. Not only was the salon clean, the staff was welcoming too. As I told my new nail technician my story of traveling all over fir one women! Other customers in the salon made comments that I picked a good one. The tech continued to do my nails in a friendly manner, later I find out she was the fabulous owner Sheila.  I was so impressed by Sheila's talent and staff the next day I came back for a gel pedicure. I will be a long time customer at Sassy's Nails, it's closer, prices are better, and staff is great! Read Less

I am new to Philly and have tried four other shops without any luck. A friend of mine recommended this place and I figured I'd give it a try not really expecting much. I was happily surprised. The minute I walked in the shop I was sure it was a good find. It was clean and the staff was friendly. There was a wide range of gel colors that Made me pretty happy! I had Hannah who I highly recommend. She is sweet, friendly and does an excellent job. My pedicure was great and she shaped my nails perfectly. I am happy to finally find my nail shop. Really peeved.  I was excited to find this place last year when I moved to the area.  Last year they did a great job and my mani and pedi lasted a while, until it didnt.  I switched places.  A few tines ive had to go to sassy out of convenience, every time sucked.  This was the worst.  I got a mani at 7pm last night.  By 8am the next day it was chipping.  I went today after work to show them and ask for a fix, I mean it had been less than 24 hours.  They gave me a hard time saying I should have gotten gel.  Well your gel lasted me a week, so m not paying for that.  Mani at other location lasts me close to 2 weeks.  Sassy clearly uses shoddy quality stuff.  I finally left with my chipped nails after they gave me such a hard time.  You lost a customer sassy. They do good job but not very nice or kindMost of them don't speak/understand English which was hard to communicate. Once this employee who gave me eyebrow waxing, didn't understand my order and she made my eyebrows terribly thin. She kept giggling without a reason. I asked what was so funny. She didn't answer. Very few second of massage but I like the way she cut the cuticle. The guy I assumed the owner painted my toe. And it was not good. It was all over the side of skin.. I go to a lot of nail salons...a lot.  This is up there with the best.  It's a typical looking salon in a strip mall, but the results don't lie.  I get gel nails, and they use the best system, Crystal Gel Nails.  They don't put it on too thick, and they taper it at the bottom so there is no ridge that you would end up picking at and ultimately peeling (you know you do!) I have to drive 15 minutes to get there, and will continue to do so as long as the results are what I received today! Read Less

I just moved to the area and am thrilled I listened to the Yelp reviews and gave this place a try! They were pretty spot on with the interior needing a fresh coat of paint and newer furniture but the people made the experience top notch! They were so accommodating, welcoming and the prices were fantastic- $50 for a pedicure and gel mani is one of the best prices I've found and the certainly earned my future business! My mom and I have been looking for a good nail salon for years. Most places around us paint sloppily or don't properly clean their equipment. After reading the yelp reviews here, I urged my mom to book us at Sassy before a big event we both had to go to. OH MAN have we found the right place! The people there are so sweet. They took their time during my mom and I's mani/pedis and our nails look phenomenal. The only issue was the one girl accidentally nipped my moms toe (purely accidental, she apologized profusely). I really like going to Sassy Nails in North Wales.  It's a bright, clean nail salon and I've been consistently happy with the quality of my manicures and pedicures.  Their pricing is very competitive with other nail salons in the area and for the quality, I find them to be a great deal.  The other thing that definitely sets Sassy Nails apart is that they take time with each customer and don't just rush people through to accommodate walk-ins.  They really stick to their appointment schedule.  Sometimes at busy periods they will try to schedule an appointment time for a walk-in later in the day or on another day.  Definitely take a minute to make an appointment ahead of time.While all of their nail technicians are great, my favorite is Lana.  She does an excellent job and is friendly and sociable.  I request her whenever I go.  She also does great nail art, so in the summer sometimes I have her do an extra design on my big toe.  It's cute and it's fun to see what she comes up with each time.
