Loved it here!!! Got solar nails and a gel pedicure. Loved how the pedicure included a massage chair and a leg/foot massage. Manicure was EXACTLY what I wanted!!!! And the girl who did my pedicure and manicure was extremely nice, friendly, and helpful. 1st time customer and I would definitely go back. Read Less

I would rate a "0" but they don't allow that. I went there because I needed a manicure very badly. I live out of state and am in PA to visit family. I had SNS on my nails went I went in. First, the girl who I started with tried to start cutting my cuticles without taking off my current polish OR soaking or anything else. What?!?! When I said something she looked at my nails, went to another person and they both came over, looked at my hands and asked what I had on. I told them it was SNS and it needed to be removed like gel polish. They were clueless! I sat for 20 minutes while they tried to figure out who would remove it and how, multiple people came over to look at my nails. Then they said they would just fill it in....NO! It's not acrylic, I want it removed. That threw them even further. Finally I had a man remove the polish with the little electric buffer and give me gel. Well..... that was not done properly because a whole fingernail peeled off the next day! I went back to get it fixed (i.e.. replaced). 2 days later another came off.... at this point I am not going back, they have no idea how to properly use the gel system. I NEVER have this problem at home. Polish will last 2 weeks, not 3 days! On top of all this, that place looked like the floors had not been cleaned in weeks.... fingernails and paint chips and dust all over the floors and counter spaces. First and last time! Had a gel mani on my natural nails, started coming off with in 4 days!? Have had many and this was by far the worse!!! Normally last at least 2 weeks!! Not so great anymore. Lazy application by Mike who I've gone to for over five years. I think the products were changed because someone else had trouble with their nails staying on too. Lifting from the free edge. She had to pay someone to remove them a very short time after they were applied. My granddaughter had the same thing where one hand popped off completely. He said she picked them. She never touched them. He just didn't do a very good job. Mine were loose at the free edge with my natural nails growing every which way underneath the tips. He never removed any of the rough natural nail tips underneath the acrylic that were curled and grabbing everything including my hair. Yuk. Uncomfortable and completely revolting for keeping them sanitary.  Super thick acrylic too causing them to be painful after getting them done. Get reading glasses  so you can see the thick mess you leave! Just awful!  Very disappointed. Last visit resulted in the left thumb being infected from the dirty, used emery board cutting into the skin. It took two weeks to heal with antibiotic ointment. Can't go back any more. Made appointments each time and he still took other people and I waited another 45 minutes. May I also mention, I had a 45 minute drive to get there and another to drive home. Not respectful of my time at all. Not in every day. Call, try to make an appointment, "he be in Wednesday". Call Wednesday "he not in, be back Thursday". I give up. So I had been coming to this salon for over 10 years & moved away *sigh* I live in NYC now & can still not find a salon that does my nails with the same: quality, care & price. I have only ever gotten acrylics then moved to solars but ladies listen, you will not be disappointed.The space is new but can get dirty bc THEY'RE CONSTANTLY BUSY!!! But if you're looking for the ultimate spa day this isn't going to be it.What you will get is a consistent fill-in that lasts & looks beautiful up until the next fill. I have gone to Chris & Mike, they're both great. Mike is the owner. Make an appointment as this place is packed on the regular. They are constantly upgrading their skill set & adding new colors.Each time I come to visit I ask for something new that he's never done & he always comes through. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Read Less

I wanted to treat my out-of-state daughter-in-law to a gel manicure for a family wedding that weekend.  We were initially seated together, then shortly after my DIL was whisked to another woman in another row, so we couldn't even chat!  The woman that initially worked on her nails decided to work on a filler job, which is more $$ for her. The second woman working on her nails was doing such a rushed job, that she decided to just get them polished...which was removed as soon as we got home.  Unfortunately, I still received a get manicure and it was the worst I've ever had!  the drying machine was filthy and I was instructed to dry them at an angle, so all of my nails have blobs of thick polish on the tips. This was my first and last time to this salon.  Too bad, because it's very close and according to the good reviews in the Tribune-Review I would have liked to use them again...but I won't. Read Less

this place is horrible. nobody speaks english, they hurt you, the place is filthy, they don't use enough antibacterial cleaner for their brushes, and my nails don't even look good. it is sad to say that regal nails in walmart did a much better job. i will never go there again. oh and i had an appointment with a woman who took a walk-in instead of me!
