I called and made an appointment for 3:00 yesterday. (12/29) I showed up early and waited 10 minutes only to be told “sorry” they were running behind and “I should go somewhere else”. Seriously. Who tells a customer to go somewhere else? It’s not MY fault they couldn’t manage their walk-in business. I left. I actually had to find somewhere else to go. Lena, I won’t be back because that was just plain rude. Whoever you left in charge while you went on vacation wasn’t the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree. This company doesn’t even deserve a single star extremely unprofessional a friend went in there today and asked for something simple and someone made her walk OUT with the tips still on her nails, not done told her to get out. A review for this place is long overdue! My fourth visit here and each time Hanna never failed to impress me. This time I booked an appointment to get the mental clarity pedicure. Speechless...Just speechless. Felt like my soul left my body. Hanna like always was so gentle and the whole experience was just so relaxing! Really LOVE the peppermint and rosemary lotion and the pink polished I picked out look stunning on my toe nails! I thought I had finally found a favorite nail salon. I was wrong. I came in and asked for a mani and pedi. Things started off fine. Salon wasn't  too busy. Then, halfway through my pedi a fucking bridal party comes in of around 10 - 12 bitches. I don't care because I'm enjoying my pedi. However, the person doing my pedi starts rushing. And then when it's time for my mani the guy in charge tells me they can't do my mani anymore. Tells me to come back later. He says the bridal party had made appointments. Mother fucker, if you knew a bridal party was coming soon why the hell did you agree to provide me with a mani pedi service?!?! My only response was that this was not okay. But I still made sure to tip the nail tech because this wasn't her fault. Of course I'm left feeling like shit and left feeling embarrassed at how I was treated. I've been to Kimmy's before and had an okay experience. It was clean. Today around 1:00, I called to see if there was a wait for a walk in. I was told they were currently busy and 3:00 would be better. Before the gentleman hung up he asked me what service I needed done, I let him know it was a full set. He said okay. I arrived today at 2:45, let them know what I needed done. The 2 employees spoke between themselves for about 5 minutes. The man came up to me to let me know that he didn't know how to do a full set and the young lady could only do fill-ins. (Really?!) he asked me to come back next Friday when the people that could complete a full set would be in.... he gave me $5 off. I'm furious, I called 1 hour and 45 minutes earlier and was told a full set could be completed and I find it hard to believe the young lady did fill ins only. A wasted trip and time for me. Doesn't even deserve one star. When I came into the salon I was asked to sit at a station. The girl came out of the back on the phone. She didn't acknowledge me at all, just continued to talk. Sh only hung up when I asked her if she was there to work. I told her what I wanted and she started. Then took another personal call. She proceeded to tell me that this particular service was expensive and quoted me a price. After she had haphazardly put acrylics on one hand she told me that she didn't really know how to do them because she was still learning. REALLY!! When Caucasian customers came in, not one of them was told that the service was expensive and no one quoted prices to them. Never going again. Read Less

Really quick Services! I have been a loyal customer for the longest time. The staff is very friendly and super nice. I have tried all of them and honestly I couldn't complain about anyone. Began coming here after moving into the area a little over 4 years ago. My husband and I used to come in separately but started coming in as a couple this past year. Mainly pedicures, but sometimes mani-pedi's and were normally pleased with the level of service.However, we noticed a decline in consistency of service during our most recent visits. Our last visit, My husband and I went together for mani-pedi's and noticed service that was rushed by manicurists and neither of us received high quality mani-pedi's. We had 2 different manicurists working on us. We both were seated at the same time for pedi's, feet in water soaking. I then noticed another customer comes in, my manicurist leaves me to set new customer up in pedi chair, leaving me to soak while she works on her.Meanwhile, I noticed, manicurist working my husbands' feet took more time and effort with him and was still working on his feet after my manicurist completed mine.  My manicurist did not do same number of steps (length of exposure of hot stones, minimal hand massaging and oil) and both manicurist did not properly smooth either bottoms of feet thoroughly. When our pedi's were completed we were instructed to come over to nail tables for manicures but found each chair occupied by customers. So we were directed back over to the pedi chairs, finger soak bowls set up on arms of chair for a rushed manicure. Upon completion, we both felt we were given rush jobs which was confirmed once home and were able to properly inspect our hands & feet.  My husband does not want to return and I'm inclined to agree. Shame, because we initially loved coming here but  cannot continue to support Kimmy's with this diminished level of service. Read Less

I will never go back to this nail salon. They offer SNS on their menu, but obviously have no idea how to use the product. The owner removed my previous SNS by scraping it off my nails with a nail file, instead of soaking in acetone. He ruined the condition of my natural nails. The SNS that he then applied chipped on the tips of multiple fingers within 2 days. This is a product that should easily last 2+ weeks. Furthermore, the shop looks sloppy - they keep supplies and tools in shoeboxes and plastic shopping bags piled on windowsills and on the floor in the corners of the room.
