Monica did a good job on my hair that had been destroyed by another salon stylist in the area. She color corrected my hair and at first it was greatly darker than I expected, but the the demi perm darkening color washed out soon enough and my hair finally looks normal from months of horrible color experiences from other salons. I started going to Prive when they opened. I see Danielle for cut, color, highlights and blow dry. She is awesome at all of these services. She gets wonderful results in half the time that my previous stylists at other salons took. At other salons I would get impatient and think, aren't you done yet? At Prive, I look and feel great walking out of the salon and still have time and energy to run my errands. The location can't be beat! FINALLY I have found a stylist who understands exactly what I want done and does it 110 times better than expected. Worth the money, and the hour drive. I am no doubt a hairdressers nightmare. I can not for the life of me describe how I want my hair . But Zoe told me don't stress about it , u aren't a nightmare. This salon had such fantastic reviews I just had to give them a try. It was clean and everyone was friendly. The girl who took my call went above and beyond to fit me in on the date I wanted to come by using two different stylists for my color and cut (they were both were the top tier level).I had balayage and a trim with layers. The area where we waited for the color to set in was the same counter that the stylists were mixing color and chatting which was kind of odd. My total came to $207 (don't tell my husband) and I was pleased with the final product. The great thing about balayage is I can go six months between sessions because the growth isn't drastic and unattractive like with foil highlights. Read Less

I received a gift card to this unknown place to have my hair cut. I haven't had good experience in the past with new people doing my hair since its so fine. The first time I went in July, I had my roots colored, hair trimmed, and tape-in extensions put in. It looked really good, and I booked my next appointment immediately for September with the same stylist. I had to reschedule my Sep appt, though, due to work travel, so I ended up getting a different stylist to move up my extensions. She did an awful job. My hair looks chopped up and uneven. See picture. I can style it to make it look good, but this is what I got. I let the salon know that I was not happy, and I wanted to go back to the first stylist. When I tried to reschedule my Nov appt with the stylist who originally did my hair in July, I was told by the owner via email that they couldn't help me. Read Less

The only way to describe my experience at Privé is outstanding! I have been a customer at Privé since they opened their doors almost 2 years ago! It has that Miami vibe with a relaxing twist. I have never in my life gone to a hair salon to get my hair cut, colored, styled and blow dried without going home and having to try to redo it all over again. Never! Until now! First of all, the place is gorgeous !! I showed Danielle a picture of how I wanted my hair colored and the cut and style I wanted - like I always do wherever I go - and damn if she didn't give me exactly what I wanted!! It was beautiful! And for the first time I didn't have to run home and redo my hair myself. I wanted to cry. Finally!! It's a 45 minute minute drive to get there, but I'd travel much farther to get these results. I go to Lindsay G. at Prive. She is the best at doing the Bayalage color technique to my hair! She's so patient with putting up with me and my many different changes I want done! The salon itself is beautiful. The massage chairs and mimosas are enough to have me coming back for more! The front desk was very friendly and helpful. I explained my needs over the phone and the receptionist set me up with Aliscia. I am always nervous for people to cut my hair because I have long hair with a lot of layers and angles. Some hairdressers get a little scissor happy and I end up with 5 inches off the end. Aliscia gave me the style I love without cutting inches off of my hair. This was one of the best haircuts I have ever (My color looks awesome too). Can't say enough about this place. Let me start of by saying how great this place is. Monica and Heather did a fantastic job with this place. Every time I walk through the door I feel like I stepped into an oasis. All the girls at Prive are amazing, but I usually got to Lindsay. I never know what I want to do with my hair, but she always knows exactly what to do. Her dedication and work ethic really show in what she does. She makes you feel like the only person in the room when you are there. I have been on the prowl for a new stylist for over a year now, and I think I have found one in Jen at Prive! I drove past the salon a few times and it looked beautiful, so I researched their Instagram and saw a lot of amazing cuts and color! So I called to book an appointment, and was told that Jen is great with long hair. I showed up a little early, so after waiting a bit Jen came to get me and gave me an awesome consultation, during which I told her my hair looks awful with straight/blunt cuts. She told me she knew exactly how to proceed so I was off to be shampoo'd. The cut she game me is perfect! It obviously was beautiful how she styled it, but it also looks great with my less than professional efforts. I immediately rebooked for another cut and for color in a few months. SO EXCITED!
