I went to this location last year and the girl burned my skin doing a full set. So my friend I decided to go back today and give them another shot. I got a pedicure and a fill. I ended up with the same girl who burned me last time. It’s been a month since I last had my nails done but they only had a little lifting and one broke off. The entire time she was complaining to me that my nails look horrible and since I wasn’t getting a new set her work was going to look awful. She did a horrible job she did not file underneath my nails my new nail looks ridiculous in my cuticle got cut again!!! I would never recommend this place to anyone. Read Less

Came in here during my vacation for 3 weeks prior. AMAZING environment! My first impression of this salon was flawless! Perfect staffs! They also gave me the BEST advise on my nails. I had an appointment yesterday for 3 pedis and 1 acrylic nail set for my 11 yr old step daughter. (Appointment was made a week ago) We arrived and sat for a half hour. The gentleman who did my pedicure was very nice and did a great job. The gentleman who did the other adult in my party did not even put a top coat on her pedicure. When we were almost finished we asked about Addy's nails, and they argued with us that there was no appointment for that. They took her anyway, but were very rude. The gentlemen doing her nails was very rough with her and made comments about her biting her nails etc... He kept stopping and looking at the clock huffing... They close at 4 on Sundays, I understand, but it's not OUR fault they took our appointment 30 mins later than scheduled. She had acrylic goo all over her fingers and hands. I received a gift card for my birthday.  Went yesterday for a basic polish.  I was there at 9:45 am.  By 6pm last night my polish was coming off.  I wanted to have my nails done for a wedding on Saturday.  Its definitely NOT going to make it.  This morning, 24 hrs after being done, most of my nails look horrible.  All chipped and peeling.  Don't waste your money. I have now found my go-to place for a gel manicure! First Nails & Spa. Everything was wonderful! ! I was offered water and tea upon arrival. The ladies here were all extremely detail-oriented. Came here with my SIL a few weeks ago to get a mani and pedi. I do like the location of this nail spa with it being in a nice, newer plaza in Murrysville (Blue Spruce Shopping Center) and right next to Starbucks doesn't hurt either. SIL made us appointments for 9:30am, which was when the spa opened. We got there on time and some of the employees were out front smoking, which I could have done without. When we got there, they had us pick out colors and then took us to the pedi chairs right away. SIL and I both paid for the same pedicure - we upgraded a few dollars from their standard pedicure to one where they just added some sort of lavender scrub. I really have to say I was pretty disappointed with my experience on the pedicure. While the employees here are pleasant, there is a pretty significant language barrier here. There was a lot of repeated questions and answers, and when that happens I never know if I am really getting what I paid for.I am apparently still on the never ending search in Pittsburgh to receive an actual spa pedicure that is worth what I have paid, and what made this one even more frustrating was that the employee who did SIL's pedicure did WAY more in terms of massage time, application time etc. for her than the employee who did my pedi did for me. The services and quality of service was not even close to consistent. SIL received a solid foot and calf massage and the employee who completed my pedi literally would not touch my feet (which I have never ever have happen before in a pedicure chair) and also did not massage my legs at all. The only "massage" I received was him putting on lotion and rubbing it in. The whole pedi was rushed and the application of the additional scrubs I paid for was literally a 60 second experience and application/wash off.  Needless to say, I was annoyed and disappointed. It kind of blew my mind that my SIL -who was right next to me - literally received more services and time for the same pedicure than I did. Once my sub-par pedi was over, we moved on nails. I got a basic polish mani and SIL got gel that she was really happy with and looked great when finished. My mani took FOREVER to dry and the second I walked outside my thumb got lightly brushed against something and smudged. We went right back into the salon, and the employee who did my mani did fix my nail for free, which was nice. My basic polish mani was nothing to write home about and chipped after literally two days. Overall I paid 48.00 plus tip for something that just wasn't that great. Sadly, I wont be back and am still looking for a decent pedicure in this city. Read Less

I had a perfect nail salon in Murrysville .After moving to Murrysville I have tried this place. I feel like I am being done nails at home.My nail tech is incredibly kind and humorable.The staff was helped pick the perfect color for my nails.They were a great experience. I have been to several nail salons in Murrysville, and I just love First Nails & Spa First Nails & Spa is amazing. My nails have always come out great, exactly the way I wanted them, and they have lasted longer than any other nails I've had done!!!!!!! I liked their work, their prices were just reasonable and the nails did always last very long. Services was ALWAYS AWESOME! I've wanted to get my nails done for awhile and I figured I would give this place a try. In a new and upcoming plaza which is nice, walking in I had my appointment already scheduled before hand for a pedicure and manicure. Upon walking in the decor is nice it looks like a clean place and I had a good vibe about it, someone greets me I mention m appointment and they direct me to go pick out a color. Nothing out of the ordinary. Then the pedicure started and it was great but when it got time to paint my nails, they had no idea what I was saying. It's frustrating when you try and tell the person doing your pedicure what you want done with your color and they look at me puzzled as if I'm crazy! The people who work here can't speak a bit of English. He cut my nails way too short which I specifically asked him not to cut them short. I could've done a better job painting them myself at home and that's exactly what I'll be doing next time they need painted. Okay moving on to my manicure! Also not being able to speak English he gave me the boxiest looking nails in existence! So chunky the acrylic alone took them 1 whole hour to do and he kept messing up and having to redo and go over! He had absolutely no idea what he was doing it's like he was hired in from the street to work just for the day!! I even showed him a picture of the nails I wanted. Down to how I wanted them shaped and painted and the picture isn't even close to comparison to what he made my nails look like! Oh and good thing I had nothing else planned for the day because I was in the salon FOR OVER 4 HOURS!!!! And to walk away from that absolutely hating my nails for over 4 hours of my time and $80+ of my money I am not happy in the least. Never again will I go to this place! Read Less

had an acrylic fill here after two nails were far overdue. very nice techs and good facility, spacious and clean with a good color selection. slightly more expensive than were I am used to going, but worth it for the cleanliness. it took the tech a little long to do my fill, they were well past closed when he finished ( i had an appointment and it took 1.5 hours). My grandma recommended this place to me as Jon is her manicurist and has been for 15 years. I had one of the other associates who was very nice, just a little rough. Walk-in nail spas are a true convenience for the most part.  Sometimes though you might stop into a place such as this and find out that all the chairs are filled with clients already and several other people are awaiting service.I found myself in that very position the other day and stopped at 2 salons before finally finding an opening at the third place to have my nails done.  The staff at First Spa could not have been any more welcoming, engaging, and pleasurable.  In this industry, the close of a long grueling business day can't come quick enough and my arrival was pretty darn near closing time.  This did not deter the technician who led me to my chair and pleasantly showed me the various options and services available.While sitting there, I observed a very clean and comfortable environment.  The other staff members were busily finishing up with their customers and the conversations were lively and cheery sounding.  How refreshing.  Most of the other salons I have been to in the past have a blaring TV in the background and the cleanliness of the surroundings is questionable.I really felt at ease with the quality of care I was receiving and was even asked if I had time for any additional services.   I found my experience to be first rate and was quite impressed with the professionalism and the positive atmosphere I encountered.Prices are in line with most other salons and they have a nice selection of spa treatments to choose from.
