I had a great experience with Danielle! No color pedicure, regular manicure and eyebrow wax - everything was great with good attention to detail. I am particular about shape and length and I liked that she checked in throughout the appointment to be sure I was ok with everything. My eyebrows look amazing, I was very happy with how they came out. The great service was complemented with nice conversation, an excellent local pizza recommendation, and atmosphere in a very clean, modern space. I have been going to Lacquer nail bar for almost a year now after a VERY bad experience at the salon in Walmart I actually had to get up during the service there because they drilled into my nail beds so much I was almost in tears. When I walked into Lacquer I explained what happened and they went above and beyond to fix it that day and were very careful not to do further damage. Fast-forward a year later and I have since swapped my acrylics to gel manicures and I love them. ...I’m very rough on my hands and with the horses I found that the gels hold up very well even with my hands being in water and getting banged up with the chores. The staff is very professional and, during every service I’m always asked multiple times to check and make sure everything is good. I would defiantly recommend there services to all my friends and family. PS. I also tend to get crazy/beautiful hand drawn artwork (and never a complaint from the techs) that I get loads of complements at work! To be honest when I walked into the salon I was already in woah! How it is set up is just beautiful the work here is excellent it was exciting to me to get a pedi, the staff there is very nice and friendly. My nails looked terrible and I will NEVER EVER go back there again! First I asked for my nails to be short and she made them too long. Second there was 3 inches of acrylic on all my nails which was a bit excessive. Three she never cleaned underneath the nail which looked worse and I was peeling acrylic off my skin. I legit had to pay someone else to clean up my nails and make them look decent and do another paint job. The way she painted then looked like a toddler did them... to be honest. I actually people asked me if a child did them for me and others where I got them done so they don’t go there and get them done cause they were that crappy looking . I normally never complain but this was terrible. Not to mention an hour job took 2 in a half hours! Plus we never got offered a drink as they stated comes with the nails as complimentary drink. Lastly my friend and I were WAY OVER CHARGED for nails that I think I could of done better myself. We basically paid them 75 and 80 for nothing cause they were the worst nail jobs I’ve ever seen! So warning to everyone yeah the place is cool, the girls are friendly but don’t let that fool you because it’s not worth the money you pay that I can promise you. I will never be going there again. I was a first time customer and thought the idea of getting a mani/pedi while sipping on a cocktail was a really fun idea. Unfortunately the level of expertise seemed to be lacking. Aside from the service being extremely slow, I was extremely disappointed with how my gel manicure came out. After the final paint coat, the girl cleaned my nails off and it seemed an entire coat came off as the tips of all my fingers were white and showing my natural nail. The girl took notice but did nothing to fix it and after being there for 2 hours I didn't have the time to request a fix. I wasn't going to write a review however I got this gel manicure 4 days ago and 5 of my nails have broken and/or chipped. Besides the atmosphere and free booze, this place is less than lackluster.
