I got my hair done today here, and I absolutely love how it came out. Amanda did an amazing job, and I felt like a brand new person afterwards. I went out yesterday to get a hair cut, my hair was quite long,I asked for a specific cut and was told that she could definitely do it, about 5 minutes into the cut I just new this was going to end up bad, so I did stop a few times and ask questions like why are you cutting it that way and why are you not using a razor, well anyway I new I had to get out of there and I realized I did have enough hair left for someone to salvage it and hopefully give me the cut I wanted, we...ll I left and went home Looking like a little Dutch boy, I was so upset, I really cut a lot of hair off, I should have left when I walked in because my instincts were telling me she can't do this cut even after showing her the style in a picture, I went to my daughters house this morning and she took one look at me and said I am making a call to a friend who works at Donna Helene's hopefully she is working and she will definitely be able to fix that hair, so we called I got an appointment with a lovely young lady named Mandy and she did a beautiful job, she new exactly what I wanted when I said it, I had this style before so I do pay attention when getting my hair cut and I was so happy to see her scissors and combs and small brushes not big brushes that aren't even used anymore, but I left there feeling great, I received so many compliments after leaving there, my husband loves it and just loves the way the front falls to my face, so for any of my friends or anyone out there that is unsure if someone is capable of cutting your hair and changing your style you call Donna Helene and ask for Mandy, you will not be disappointed, thank you again so much Mandy, I love my hair and it feels so light and and doesn't have that heaviness to it anymore, I know I will be seeing much more of you, have a great night.. 2011 A rare find in PA...I took my daughter here to get her hair corrected which was a bleached blonde with orange and I mean lots of bright brassy orange and the stylist who took care of her did a beautiful job. Her hair came out not only a modern and great color but looking so shiney and healthy. I highly recommend the Dona Helene Salon in Milford,PA. not only was the cut I received here unattractive and unflattering, which are subjective judgements, but it was not even remotely along the lines of what I had requested. "Trim" was taken as an instruction to eliminate over 6 inches of length. and "Long, sweeping bangs" was interpreted as short, feathered and straight across the forehead. Read Less
