I used to go here all the time but recently everything changed. The workers love to talk about their business in their language (Vietnamese) I asked where she from. She did my feet extremely fast, normally not that fast plus it wasn't busy at all. I wouldn't coming back at all. They weren't being friendly. I feel I was being mistreated. I got a gel mani here about two weeks ago. It was awesome! I was in and out in about 30 minutes which is nice because I hate spending an hour or more just sitting getting my nails done. there was no wait time but I got there when it opened. It was my first time going here and I was out of the area of where I usually go so I tried them.  First of all I asked them very nicely to file the gel off of my nails with the nail drill because it's more gentle on my nails, it basically buffs it off instead of scraping and sanding it off. She very rudely said "no it's not, that's rougher on your nails" and used the file anyway! Every time I get my nails done where I go, that's what they do to buff my nails.  Zen decided to use a rough grit nail file to file my nail polish, wrapped them with aluminum foil and nail polish remover then took a cuticle pusher (the metal ones)and scraped the rest off. In turn,all this made my nails so thin that now they keep breaking, within the first day! She also messed my toe nail up. I asked her to get the ingrown toenail out of my toe, instead of doing that she cut it so short that now my big toe is inflamed and I have to wait for it to grow back to get the ingrown toenail out. They charge you $45 for a mani/pedi and my nails started breaking the next day! I will never go there again! When I pay someone to do something I expect it to be how I ask. It's jus like painting my nails pink when I asked for black because that's "her" favorite color. Smh!! Read Less

The ABSOLUTE BEST nails around. Have know Tommy and Antonella for 10 years now. Never had ANY issues with my nails when they do them. I now live in Florida during the winter and 2 1/2 hours away in the summer. I come back for their nails every few weeks while I'm in the area--worth the drive:):):). I received a fabulous gel manicure from Lisa yesterday - probably one of the best I've ever had.  Her cuticle clean-up was meticulous and the polish near-perfect.  I also got a free paraffin treatment all for the grand total of $22.  So many polish options - I'll definitely be back! Read Less

My sister-in-law introduced me to Zen during one of my visits and now it's a "must do" whenever I'm in town.   The spa pedicure is one of the best I have every experienced and the prices are quite reasonable.  I definitely recommend making an appointment though as they always seem really busy. I got a gel mani and regular pedi at this nail salon on Sunday and the very next day I started seeing the polish bubbling up. I went and got two fixed. Today, three days later I notice another nail polish peeling. Just a very poor job. Seem like the lady was in a rush. I'm very disappointed. I've never gotten such poor nail job. I visited this salon for the first time and I liked the paraffin wax dip and hot stone massage offered with the manicure and pedicure. The hot stone massage was okay. The salon I usually go to does the hot stone massage for much longer and the stones are always super hot which I like. I didn't like that there was no private parking available. The only parking available was meter parking, which I know is not their fault because the salon is located in the heart of Media, but I really dislike meter parking. After a long day at court I decided to treat my self at Zen nail Spa. I had a wonderful experience. My technician was great! Even with trying something new my technician talked me through the process and my end result was amazing! I also did gel polish which has lasted me over two weeks. My go to nail salon. Everyone is so kind.  The nail color choices are endless.  They will always make sure you are happy with the results. I always get compliments on the color and my nail.s Prices are average. They also have a Zen Card that they will sign for every visit, once you hit your 5th visit you get a discount on your next appointment. This place is a gem of a nail salon. Late afternoons there's rarely any wait at all. The staff are topnotch and very friendly. This is my all time favorite place to get a pedicure and gel manicure. They are professional, fast and the paraffin on your gel manicure helps to prevent the nail polish from chipping. Went in on a Monday afternoon and had a delightful time. A friend of mine had called and made us an appointment before we went, we were seen right away. I had the spa pedicure and loved how they used the hot stones towards the end with the massage mixed in, it added a nice touch. The only thing I'll say I didn't like too much was how rough she was with the sugar scrub. At one point it was actually painful, because she was doing it in such a quick motion on my legs. I then just did gel nails, I didn't do the manicure. However, my friend did and she said it was delightful. We both noted how clean the place was, and we thought they really took their time with us and we're very precise on painting each nail perfectly. No spots were missed, which is one of my biggest pet peeves at nail places when they go in a hurry. But not here! I've been here over 20 times. I've been pleased each time. The hot stone massage with the pedicure is heavenly. Every nail tech has been friendly and the results have been uniformly good. The staff is primarily Chinese. Sometimes the nail tech will translate what is going on out of the blue. It is a nice gesture.It's very clean. They use sanitized tool packs for each manicure or pedicure.They offer water and a dish of candies. The waiting area is small but the leather couches are comfy. They have 2 nice size mounted TVs with closed captioning on the one. One time I requested a particular program and they were more than happy to put it on. The price is right.  The owners are courteous. You don't need an appt but I try to call ahead since it gets busy in there. Went here for a pedicure with my mother-in-law a week ago. Was unhappy with my pedicure when we walked out of there, even more unhappy with it now as the polish is already coming off.Trendy Nails is far superior. Pedicure is better and the polish lasts longer and the women who work there are very friendly. My pedicure from Trendy Nails lasted for 4 weeks. I'll definitely be going to Trendy this weekend.
