I go back and forth with acrylics and this is the only place I'll go for them. They always stay on and don't break. I've gone places in the past that after a week my acrylic peels up and break my nail but I've never had that happen from Pretty Nails. The staff is always polite and efficient. I'm a cosmetologist so I'm very familiar with state regulations and proper sanitation and they're very clean.. I will not get pedicures anywhere else because almost every other nail salon in the area doesn't follow proper sanitation like they do here. I tell everyone to go here !! Read Less

They did a great job on our nails but when we left we all felt sick (nauseous, headache) because of the lack of ventilation. My mom, sister, and I made an appointment and they were great about accommodating us, getting pedicures and gel manicures for each person and ending at the same time! My daughter's nail broke an hour after she left the saloon after she had that one fixed a nail on her other hand broke we had to go back again i asked for a refund they told me no they do give refunds but they would fix it. I was in PA visiting and stopped at this nail shop. The chemical smell was terrible, and the staff was very rude (the nail tech did not say more than 2 words the entire time I was there). They were also quite expensive! I would have expected to at least receive a glass of wine or a relaxing ambiance for a $30 gel polish change. Read Less

I came here because of the good reviews. When i showed up I was asked to sit in the pedicure chair close to 45 min then when someone finally got to me I was done in less than 15 min. Not a great experience, will not be going back. Read Less

I came here a couple times a few years ago. What happened? I came again for my first "moms day out" in January after I had my daughter.  I'm about to cry at the amount of my toenail I just cut off.... For the first time in my life I have toenail fungus. It was a totally bad experience for my sister and myself. We had terrible service. At this point, I feel like the pedicure chair I got was not fresh but I didn't see them fill it. They guy handling my pedicure was fumbling around the entire time and not paying attention to what he was doing. For example when he buffed my toenails, he was talking to one of his coworkers and buffed my toes not the nail...I was charged for a spa pedicure which I did not ask for. I'm so disgusted! I'm about to go back to work (I'm a manager at a shoe store) and I'm so upset about the whole situation! Read Less

They over charge me every. single. time. I won't go back anymore. First time I got a regular full set with just a top coat because the tips he put on were bright white so without the polish they looked painted. When I went to pay they told me $30. I said no, he didn't polish them with a French manicure its just natural. The woman said no its $30. So I paid because I'm not one to put up a fight but you can bet that extra $5 I had to pay was his tip that he didn't get. Then I went in again a few months later and had a refill and they tacked on an extra $5 when I asked why they said there was a length charge!!!! #1 my nails were extremely short, and #2 a refill is just the new growth of the nail, so how would there be a refill length charge! And by the way my nails were about 3 weeks out, not a month or more! So they did not use any extra product than a normal refill! Not impressed Read Less

Been going there for years but feel I need to express my disappointment for 2015. DON'T go without making an appt! Forget about going to get a repair done, they tell you it will be a couple of minutes but 1/2 hr later your still sitting there! Not once do they keep you informed that's it's going to be longer in fact they make no eye contact with you what so ever! Doesn't matter if your a regular good paying (tip) customer or a walk in! It's dirty, they use the same files and tools on everyone! Only a few that do really good nails. If it wasn't for a gift card I received for xmas I would be going someplace else! Read Less

Pretty nails is always hit or miss.  Their service is always inconsistent.  Slow day you might get a good pedicure or manicure.  busy days, they cut corners.  Andy was the only technician I had that I was actually happy with my result.  Tina is sloppy and I always seem to get stuck with her when I don't have an appointment.nails are cut too short regardless of what you ask for, callus removal is non-existent so for $30 I could paint my own nails.   Need to find another nail salon in the area.  I would not recommend this salon for a consistent result. Don't bother making an appointment unless you want to wait 20 minutes for the person you requested.  I've had them start me with someone else for both a pedicure and a fill and then switch people midway through.  Needless to say, the nails didn't match!  Not to mention a few of the girls have quite an attitude, like they resent having to do your nails.  Iris is a sweetie and Chuck does a good job, but he rushes and is always looking for the next person. This was my first visit to Pretty Nails.  I should mention that until recently, I haven't been a frequent visitor of nail salons, so I don't really have much to compare it to. I thought it was a nice place.  The staff was polite and they kept me and my gf sitting together the entire time.They are efficient, clean and professional. I had a mani/pedi on a Sunday. It got pretty busy so I was glad that I went there only a few minutes after they opened, but they do have a lot of stations and it seemed like plenty of staff to handle it.
