I was going to another place, but I finallyyy decided to make the switch considering the hairdresser that I had been loyal to for many years was not quite getting what I wanted to be done. I gave her an entire year of chances to change my hair from the golden blonde she always insisted on to an ash blonde which is what my root color is... Anyway finally I decided to go to Studio @ 108 because a friend of mine work there. So far I have gone to her 3 times and she has done exactly what I want. I have never had another hair stylist coloring my hair as well as her(and I've been dying my hair since the age of twelve(so 18 years now, and I'm not just saying that because she is my friend. So if you're looking for someone to do exactly what you want, and you don't have to worry about your hair turning out horrific, how you didn't want it then I would absolutely recommend going to my girl Tracy! I recently went to studio at 108 and my experience was awesome from start to finish.To start they were extremely accommodating, I made a last minute decision to get a blow out before my bridal shower, so I called and they fit me right in. My stylist gave me an amazing peppermint head massage during the shampoo and then did my hair perfectly and I'm SUPER picky. Ive been searching for a good hair salon and i think Ive found it. I really hate to get my hair done.. because of the amount of time it consumes and due to the fact that I have no clue about what I want. I've just never been someone who knows how to style my hair.. and basically wash it, drip dry and go! So, I put off the hair salon all year, and while off from work, spending the day with my Mom at a local hospital, I was able to get an appointment with Michaela very last minute. From the appointment booking over the phone to the cut and color, the whole experience was such a pleasure. The owner obviously takes such care to detail, and the boutique little  salon is beautifully designed. Nice music, candles.. great scalp massage and high quality products. The place has a very relaxed and positive energy to it, which the team seems to take pride in. Michaela was really patient, knowledgeable and friendly and completely put me at ease. She gave me some great ideas and in the end, the cut and color are, hands down, the best I've ever had! I have had a ton of compliments already :) She also cut and colored it in a way that suits my lifestyle - so it's still low maintenance and I  can still get up and go, but with the benefit of a really fantastic change!  I live an hour away, but I liked this salon so much that I will be back for all of my future hair cuts/ color! Shannon and the girls are amazing!! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming and their prices are on point. I bleach my hair so it tends to get dry really fast in addition to bowl drying and straightening it. Shannon has been working with me to get it to grow out through different color options and treatments without me having to completely change my look.
