Have gone here for years. Always great technicians and friendly service. Today, a new young man with a large tattoo “MAB” on his arm called me to his chair as I was the only customer on a rainy Sun. morning. Immediately three or four more customers entered and although there were employees in the back, he was totally distracted and hurt me as he cut my cuticles then instructed me to relax as it makes his job easier. 1. Poor job 2. Incomplete service - no lotion, no massage, no cleaning under the nails. 3. A less than 5 minute job still charged $12. I had not asked for polish but expected the full manicure treatment. Will not return if this man is now manager. Three stars NOT mine. They were already entered. From me ❌ Read Less

This place completely destroyed my nails. I got acrylic with gel nail polish on top and they started crumbling within a week!! Shame on them, when I went back they tried to get me to pay for them to fix it. I will never go back our recommend this horror of a nail salon to anyone! Read Less

My experience at LA Nails was actually really great. I called ahead and was seated pretty quickly after I arrived. I had Vivian and she is absolutely great once you get to chatting. The reason for three stars is that my gel manicure started exhibiting tip wear after about 3-4 days. While I'm tough on manicures, I was disappointed because I liked the place so much and the price ($25) was great! She also gave me a card for $5 off each of my subsequent visits so I will likely go back and give her a second try. Read Less

Today was the first time I tried LA nails. I had Jessica as my nail technician and she was so great. I am very, very picky about the shape of my nails and she got them perfect. She was very sweet and professional. Her customer service skills were fantastic. The overall feel of the salon was relaxing as well. I will definitely be going back. Read Less

I was out for a girls day with my little sisters (12, 13, & 13) in preparation for my wedding in the spring. We made an appointment, which was never confirmed by the salon, but they were able to get us all in quickly nonetheless. The techs were really good with the younger girls and the overall experience was great. The cost was also fantastic, I've certainly paid $10 more for a gel manicure other places, and the girls nails were only $12 each! My only complaint is that the actual paint job did not last a full two weeks, where I can usually get closer to three. If I'm in the area, I would go back here for sure. Read Less

I loved LA nails. I got a spa pedicure for $30 and it was well worth the money. There was an amazing warm sugar scrub and a yummy smelling foot mask that made my feet feel wonderful. Staff was nice and quiet, which I like bc I'm not a chatty person when it comes to beauty services. The man who did my pedicure did a fabulous job and made sure I was comfortable the whole tkme. I made the executive decision as a grown-up to drive first to my destination instead of getting my nails done back at home for a wedding I was to attend during Memorial Day Weekend. East will be cheaper, I thought, it'll be some much more welcoming and they'll be tons of places to choose from. I'll be totally fine. And for once, in all my life, I was right, I was so right. I was staying at the Best Western Eden (review pending lol) and I wanted someplace where the drive wouldn't be more than 10 minutes. I found it and gave them a quick call because it was Sunday morning before the beginning over Wedding-Season-Palooza and I wanted to NOT go somewhere that was super packed. Vi - pronounced Vee - Vivian for the anglo-tongued answered the phone and quickly said, we're slow now, come now. I rushed into a summer dress and headed over and she had not lied. Each tech had a customer YES, but I was helped in a few minutes after my arrival. A man with soft hands became my shellac removal, but pretty soon it would be Vi that would care for my fingers. Upon Vi finishing her customer, she moved me a few times. This was fine, of course, I was just happy to have had a chair to sit-in. I chose a color and thought let me go pinker and she proposed one of the prettiest OPI colors I have ever worn, Bubble Gum and it almost perfectly matched my already shellacqued toes. We had a wonderful chat about her adorable children, her pretty name and her time spent in the states and within the hour, my nails were pretty and wedding-ready, shellacqued (a word I think I may have just made up) in a pretty BUBBLE GUM pink for only, get this, $25. Where I live, your nails are getting that for lower than $35, so I was floored when I was told the price. It was a wonderful visit at Sunday around 11AM. If I ever find myself in the area again, I'm going back, no question. Read Less

Went for my first pedicure today and we went as a family. Myself, my husband and our 2.5 year old daughter. They have cute smaller children's chairs. The staff was great to us but extremely patient and very kind to our daughter- which speaks volumes to me! They even fixed her toes that she acidentally smudged 3 times, even after I said multiple times they didn't have to. Our pedicures were perfect! Will absolutely return. Took a fairly last minute appointment on a Saturday, which is huge.   They've treated my wife and our out of state friend with respect and great care did everything that was asked of them and more.  They were thorough did a great job took their time to pamper both ladies, gave them above and beyond what I'd consider normal customer service, and from what I understand the price was more than fair.  You can't go wrong with that great of treatment!  Many thanks to them!  Highly recommended! I've gotten my nails done here a handful of times! I really enjoy it and for the second time now I've gone to Vivian. She is so sweet and very talkative which I like. Not a lot of women that does nails really ever talk to you unless if it's about your nails! I got my acrylics taken off because they were annoying me but I always seem to go back to get them done but I think officially for now I'm doing gel forever because my nails are so weak not even because of the acrylics! The ladies are very nice and it feels welcoming! I will keep coming back! Read Less

I stopped in to get my eyebrows and lip waxed because Onyx (my usual place) was closed.  I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of service and wax here...and both lip and brow were only $9.00!  They use a cream wax which is a much higher quality than what most nail salons use (the brown wax) and the tech knew what she was doing.  I will definitely be coming back for my maintenance touch ups. My daughter and I were fixtures at this nail salon for about a year and a half, having an assortment of services performed.  We were loyal and for the most part satisfied customers until we witnessed something that sent us running in the other direction (more on that later).Based on the countless hours we have spent within those four walls, from experience we can tell you this:Don't expect communication to be easy.  Some of the staff has greater language skills then others but overall it's sometimes hard to convey what you want.The best English speaking employee is Annie, she also provides better quality services.They accept competitor's coupons, they don't advertise this but they do.When you pick a polish make sure you open it and check the fluidity of it before going back to the station.  If it's on the thick side they water it down which doesn't make for good results.Annie and Nancy are the better nail techs, with Nancy being my personal favorite.  However with that being said they take their time if you're the only client in the shop, once someone else walks thru the door, even if it's not their client they instantly go into rush mode.Lee is the one to avoid.  We have NEVER left there happy with her services, although she is very friendly.For waxes be sure you ask for a towel for your head, otherwise you are laying your head down on the same soiled piece of fabric that everyone lays on or (yikes!!!!) put other body parts on, as they do waxing for all areas.I personally do not find their pedicures relaxing.  They will scrub and scrub your legs and feet like you've been working barefoot in a mushroom field for a week.  The only pedicure I did receive left my legs beet red and raw, not my idea of a tranquil experience but at least you leave knowing your feet are ultra clean.Some of their clientele can be ghetto.  I've heard more stories of baby daddy/mama/cousin drama here then from watching a marathon of Jerry Springer.I am rating my review based on EXPERIENCE alone....read on.....Now for the flipside.  We always wondered about their sanitation procedure as every visit they just pulled tools out of their drawer and went to work.  We've also watched them work on multiple clients at a time.  But I gave them the benefit of the doubt that maybe inside that drawer was a container of sanitizing agent.  But not so.  While waiting for service I witnessed 2 manicures in progress by the same employee.  I watched in horror as that cuticle clipper went from one snipping to another without so much as a wipe in between.  That was it for us.  Done.  Never to return. DO NOT waste your money! I called two times before going there to verify pricing and to make sure they did have solar nails (pink & white). When I got there I asked for pink and white (solar) nails, was told all they had was pink & white, I said that's fine. When she finished filing my nails she got white polish out and I said, wait a minute I don't want nail polish, she said they didn't have the white powder. At that point what was I to do! When she finished with me I got up to go to the dryer turned around to see how my friend was making out and she is getting what I asked for. I said to the lady that did my nails, "that is what I asked for". She said no you didn't. Anyway, that was 2 weeks ago and I have already lost 2 nails and I have 4 more lifting up!
