Got my eyebrows waxed here yesterday and it was a horrible experience. After waxing them, they put rubbing alcohol on my skin (ouch!) Went home and looked in the mirror to find that most of my skin had actually been burned/waxed off. I recommend going elsewhere for an eyebrow wax. Read Less

I just move into the neighborhood and I give Rockledge nails a try  wow this is my new favorites place . Theirs spa pedicure was excellent tons of gel colors that match with your toes nails colors  .that what my friends had been there so many years and on . You never  feel disappointed ! What a rip off. I got SNS dip, $45 and they look awful. They kept telling me to get a French with the powder and when I said I wanted color they brought out a color ring of maybe 15 colors. She rushed through application and when she buffed them you could see through to my natural nail. I asked her to do a 3rd dip in the powder. The pedicure was average. The woman forgot to put separators between my toes before she started painting my toes though. My toe nails aren't painted to the edges either. So disappointed, I go to a place near where I work usually, 45 mins away, but wanted to go close to home on my day off. Never again. Read Less

Returning customer will NOT be returning. I have been an infrequent, returning customer over the last few years. Generally I have had pleasant experiences, however my last visit will be my last. The salon was crowded in the evening, towards closing time and my pedicure experience was less than desirable. My daughter and I waited a long time, soaking while our technician took her dinner break. Our pedicures were rushed due to the impending crowd at closing time. I was charged $25 for my five year old's pedicure. The long wait during a dinner break, rushed services, and overprice for a child unfortunately turned me off from returning to Rockledge Nails again. I went here on the spur of the moment. This isn't my usual place to go. It's nice and clean enough when you walk in and everyone seems nice. I asked how much a pedicure was and was quoted $23. Ok fine that's not bad. I go to get the pedicure and the lady was training someone. They kept talking in their language which is completely rude. I'll admit that I didn't have a chance to shave again but it was just a little stubble and I wasn't wolfing. When I rolled up my pant legs she made a face of disgust and continued talking to the girl she was training. It was obvious they were talking about me because she kept nodding over at me. She kept complaining to me that she had to work too hard because I had a lot of dead skin. I'll admit it's been a little while since my last pedicure but not that long and my feet weren't that bad. When she finished I was charged $28 and not $23 and there was still dead skin on my feet so obviously she didn't work that hard. When I came home I got the rest off in less than 3 minutes. I go to the Rockledge Nail Salon almost every week to two weeks. I think very highly of this particular place. Although may say it is 'expensive', it is simple to refute it. First, my whole family goes to this salon. My mom gets pink and white for a professional yet natural looking nail. It lasts her 2+ weeks and it is only $50. Personally I get a pedicure or a gel manicure. I am a dancer and being very hard on my feet my pedicures last over two weeks. Gel manicures last me the same amount of time. I hope this was helpful. Well, this salon was a disappointment. While the initial cost for the gels was a bit higher, $60 for a pink and white without any repairs, but around what other salons charge in this area - $50 for most other salons, the refills are very expensive -$40 for a refill every two weeks, and $5 per nail for any repair. Even when you get a new set, if you have a repair, they charge extra. And, it doesn't even last two weeks! The day after a full set, one of the nails chipped, and they gave me a bit of a hard time when I wanted to get it repaired for free. I am not hard on my nails at all. I did a survey, and other salons in Jenkintown charge around $25- $30 for refills. Read Less
