The guys here a very talented, the one younger lady i had before can be a bit picky and doesnt have the best word-of-mouth reviews from the few people I've talked too, but apart from that its nice. Ultra nails always been nice to me for years since the time they took over. Sometimes they got ignorant and stupid people come in like the lady below ROSE BORTZ. I sat there to get my nails done and clearly the man Long said hello as she walk in the door. And she sat down the man said give him a minute so he could clean up his station. He told her that her nails are bad because she got it done somewhere cheap and theyre all lifted up. She start to become ignorant mean toward the man. He is trying to explain to her hes going to fix and she kept interrupting him and be rude to him. Then post a review about him and said how rude he is. He did my nails couple times and he very gentle and clean and nice as well. You cant argue with stupid once they become stupid. Read Less

I walked in and first time here.. I was told to go sit and I waited for the man.. whose name is Long.. to get his stuff in order.. he did not acknowledge me.. he finally came back and started taking off old polish.. he then said Who did your nails last?? I said why?? He said I am only responsible for filling in.. if they fall off or get mold it is not my fault!! I said well are you going to fix those areas and he did not say yes. Kept saying I am only responsible to fill in.. he talked very down to me and I said wait before you continue I need to know what is being done to my nails... he said just go!! I was in shock and disbelief that a person in serving the customer would treat a customer like this. He said I would not let him explain or talk.. not so!! Very disrespectful to me. For anyone who gets their nails done, DO NOT GO TO ULTRA NAILS in Irwin! I made an appointment for my daughter and I to get our fingernails and toenails done today. I asked if they had a problem with her being 3. They said there was no problem. From the time we arrived the girl who did our nails was rude. This was not like her. By the end, one of the guys who has been doing my nails, for the past 4 years, made a smart comment about not doing kids anymore. I told him that I called and asked, and that I thought she was really good. She didn't move around, wasn't loud, and was really excited. He made another smart comment, to which I said again that I called and asked in advance. I could've taken her somewhere else. The girl started walking away without her tip and I had to ask if she wanted it. I should've just kept it and walked away. Then the guy made another smart comment!! I told him I've been coming here for 4 years, I tip VERY well, and maybe I shouldn't come back. As I was half way out the door he says "good. don't come back". If my daughter wasn't there I would've had an entirely different conversation!!! The worst part is that this was the first time she's gotten her nails done at a salon. It was supposed to be a fun daughter and Mommy memory! I took her there because I've never had a bad experience and I really like them. Read Less

They say they accept walk-ins I walked in signed in 10 minutes after a lady walks in signs in they never said do you have an appointment I sat there for 55 minutes they never acknowledge me if they did not have time for me they should have told me when I walked in they wasted my time I will never go back there again Read Less

I've had a mixed experience I have came here for maybe 5 years and they do an amazing job but 2 times the guy cut my nail to short and it started to bleed but other than that they are always amazing I get a pedicure and manicure before going on vacation and it last until 3weeks later Read Less

Stopped in for a pedicure...what a mistake!  Once we started, I asked the lady NOT to vertically cut the corners of my big toenails.  Of course, this was the first thing she did.  I avoid this, as it can cause ingrown nails.  When I was leaving I saw her put the foam toe separators that I used into a drawer...NOT the garbage.  I asked if they reuse them and she said YES!!  I have nice feet, but do you really want mine on your feet an hour later?  I wouldn't!!  I will not go here again.
