Shame on me for returning to the salon thinking that the next time would better. Don't bother making an appointment because it is not honored. They overbook and you are asked to either wait for someone else that will be available or they turn you away, asking you to return later. Clearly these workers have no concept that when you make an appointment you adjust everything else in your day to be there. They aren't even courteous enough to call you and cancel. They overbook their clients and do not call to ask you to come later. You will sit there for upwards of an hour waiting for service. I've driven 30 minutes to get there only to be told that I could not be waited on and asked to come back later. This was the third time that it happened. I picked this place to go get my nails done because it is close to my job and it will be on the way back to my house. When I wanted to get my nails done for my co workers party that weekend, every other nail shop I called said they were busy but this nail shop. The nail tech that did my nails was AMAZING! I will never ever go back! I went in over an hour before they closed just for a polish change and they wouldn't take me. So the next time I made an appointment. I was ten minutes early and another person had an appointment for the same time and was 15 minutes late and they took her first! I literally waited for another 45 minutes and watched them tell other walk ins that they would be with them shortly. What a joke! I got up and left without getting anything done and waiting over an hour. I drive straight over to top nails and they helped me right away and I didn't have to wait at all. I was in for a pedicure last weekend. I was a first time, walk in client. The salon seems slightly informal, but good ! The woman taking care of my pedi did a very clean job polishing, but not much of a massage scrub. I loved the color selection here of regular polish! you can tell it is a more youthful salon than others in the area. The woman doing my pedi watched the news most of the time while taking care of me, from the large TV hanging in the pedi area. Not a fan, but they had the spray enamel that they put on my toes after so as soon as I was ready to go, it would not smudge! I walked in with my two girls (6&8) and they took us Right in even tho they were pretty booked. Everyone was very polite and courteous, my nails look beautiful (solar), I hope they last a while. They were also very sweet and patient with my girls!The only reason why not 5 stars because I don't know how long my nails will last (I was promised they wouldn't chip) and I did feel a bit awkward at times, because they were almost a little too non-chalant. I've only been here once, but I got the best full set of acrylics that I've ever had. Perfect shape, have lasted forEVER. I took my daughter here today to have her nails done for her 6th birthday. It was her second time here and they did a fantastic job as they did the first time she was here as well. Unfortunately, within a few minutes of getting home from the appointment my daughter feel and ended up scraping the polish off of her toenail when she did.  She was devastated and with it being her birthday I decided to take her back to see if they could fix. I was so impressed with how great they were about it as they immediately took her back and took care of it. I was alsoimpressed with how they seemed to know and genuinely care for their customers. They know their customers by name and even knew upcoming appointments that relatives of their customers have. Admittedly, I am a sucker for anyone who is kind to my daughter but I was really impressed by their overall customer service!!!  Great, caring team here!!! Read Less

While the employees are extremely friendly to customers they do know, they are not so much to new ones. I was passed around to two different employees, and while waiting for the second to finish up with another customer, I heard him complaining that he didn't want to work on my nails because that was supposed to be his last one for the day. And as I was having my tips put on, knowing I would get a second employee to fill my nails, another customer without an appointment got a happy employee and was out the door before I was, although I was there a half hour before hand. I had an appointment Thursday morning at 10am for a full set of lashes. I arrived at 9:45 and had to wait in my car until the first employee arrived to open the doors at 10am. I then went in and told the lady I was there for a set of lashes. I was told “Jenny” was running late but should be here any minute. A few moments later another customer came in and said she was there for an appointment with Jenny at 10am. Finally Jenny arrived 15 minutes late. I was told she “double booked” herself and she would not be able to take me. I took a day off of work and have wasted the past half hour waiting and all she can say is I don’t know how this happened. This is the 2nd time this has happened and they brush it off like it’s no big deal. Apparently Jenny doesn’t know how to use pencil and paper to schedule appointments or how to tell time. You don’t come running in the door of a business with customers waiting for you all disheveled and 15 minutes late. I will never spend another dime in this place. This is my go to place to get my nails done. I have been going to Tone to get my nails done for almost a year. I have never had any issues with my acrylic/solar nails. These are individuals whom are always busy with their successful business... which is why they do not sit on Instagram and facebook. That's what a phone number is for. I went to get a set of pink and white nails done and they are perfect! They are a great friendly staff that could do any design on your nails that you wanted for a reasonable price. Their business and tools are clean. I took my cousin with me to get a mani/pedi and they did a great job with her also. Excellent business run by wonderful people. Read Less
