I'm really sad to post this because I have been going to Cozy for years. But the owners daughter was so rude to my friend and myself without understanding that we had had appointments already scheduled. They decided to take other walkins in front of us which made us late for a business calls and a meeting. This wasn't the first time so why make appointments? This is a service business and as business owner they should never yell and put a customer down in any way! This is very upsetting especially as a long time client. Read Less

I just left Cozy Nail & Spa, and my review will be a mixed one:I made my appointment today for 6:00pm over the phone for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. I am extremely happy with my pedicure, but my gel manicure is a different story.My manicure happened at the same time as my pedicure, and I don't mind this because I wouldn't want them to be there all night doing my nails.The gel was not coming off with just cotton and aluminum, so the lady proceeded to scrape the gel paint off of my nails, buff them, file them, and repeat over the course of my manicure. As a result, my nails looked sort of torn. First time ever happens to me for gel removal.She picked at my cuticles for less than a second, and when I asked her to go back to cut my cuticles, she said "Oh, all of them?" I thought this was standard for all manicures, but I could be wrong. Regardless, she went back immediately and happily. In the process, however, my pinky suffered a cut. I get it, things happen. Moving along.She painted my nails in a way I had never seen done. She painted the first three fingers, then had them under the UV Gel. She took them out, filed an edge, and picked at it with a cuticle cutter (???) then went along with the second coat. Okay.I asked for her to get the edges, but she told me she would get back to them with the next coat. I had no more energy to keep checking her work, so I tried to trust that she did what I asked for. I am just getting home, and I can see that my edges are still pretty empty. My manicure does not look as crisp and clean as it should.When I was signing for my receipt, another lady was monitoring what I was going to put in the tip section up until the moment I left. Why be so obvious with your speculation? Do I look like I tip poorly? Is 24% not enough for a service that was not up to my expectations?!Overall, I had an okay experience. This is not my first time at Cozy, so I do not think my manicure today speaks to the entire Nail Salon. My pedicure and foot massage was amazing, and that part was fully worth my money. I brought my (adult) kids here to get pedicures with me. The place is definitely 'cozy, it's also very clean. The staff was very friendly. This may have been the best pedicure I've ever had, and I've had a lot of them all over the world. Read Less

Went to cozy for the 1st time today. It is my new favorite pedicure place. Took me on time. Got a decent leg/foot massage. And  paraffin on my heels. I was afraid I'd gotten a special package. Nope. That's their regular pedicure!!!  I'll be back fer sure. Read Less

I've been to Cozy Nails about three times and had a good experience every time. The staff is super friendly and the salon is very clean. I've gotten manicures and pedicures and was very satisfied with the outcome. Good color section and a free shoulder massage while your nails dry!Bonus - They have monthly raffles and you can enter your name each time you go. I just won a free manicure!! Read Less

I JUST walked out of this place.... when i walked in i had a full set of acrylics with powder gel over lay. MIND YOU, TWO of them were broken with no damage to my nail beds.I walk out with NO acrylics and the 2 fingers that had broken nails where they TRIED to put on new tips are so FILED down to raw.... they are on FIRE. I felt happy to enjoy the clean and day spa like atmosphere of relaxing music," live love laugh" decorations and nice massaging chairs.  The manicure and pedicure were 5stars;  hot stone massage, paraffin wax on heels, reflexology massage, short back massage when sitting at drying table all added to what I think was one of the best nail salon services I have experienced to date.  I appreciated the professional demeanor and pleasant personalities of my and my friends technicians. This place is directly behind my apartment, making it super convenient to stop in for a quick main/pedi. It is extremely clean and I have never had to wait very long for service. The price is a little high compared to my regular (and favorite) salon in Ardmore, but the convenience of walking right out my door and into the salon makes it worth it. Read Less

I got a pedicure and gel mani here a week ago. I was in the area for a fitness class and wanted to get my nails done but was also hoping to avoid pre-Chistmas madness. I decided  to try this salon, which is right off of the exit to the Haverford Square parking lot. When I walked in, they greeted me right away but sounded dismayed when I said I didn't have an appointment. They didn't seem particularly busy, but I guess it's a small place and maybe someone needed to have lunch or something. They started with my pedicure, and I asked if I could get a gel manicure as well. Again, some worried looks and chatter, until they decided, yes, they could fit both in. Anyway, the pedicure was very good--I'm happy with that. The manicure...eh. They did the ENTIRE thing while I was sitting in the pedicure chair. I've had it done before where they'll do the prep work for the manicure at the chair but finish at a table. Here, I was cradling the lamp in my lap and stretching my am over so the woman could reach them to paint. While I appreciated their effort to fit me in, it wasn't relaxing, and most importantly, my nails didn't end up looking that great. They were cut and painted unevenly, and the gel started to lift a couple days ago. So, they didn't even last a week. I'll have to get them done again tomorrow so that they don't look chewed up and messy for NYE. I get the multitasking thing, but my pedicure was finished a good 15 minutes before manicure, so I thought maybe they'd take me over to the manicure table at that point to finish. But no, I was in the pedicure chair the whole time which was a awkward and made it hard for the manicure to come out well.Anyway, I'll finish with some positives. You get a really great 5 minute or so shoulder massage from the male employee while your nails dry, and they gave me some lotion as a holiday gift. I discovered Cozy when driving down Station Rd. in Haverford and did a walk-in manicure. To my suprise, I saw several of the former Young's Nail (Wynnewood) emplohyees!! Gina (she was formerly @ YN) explained that a few of them left YN and started their own salon/spa in late April.  You will be absolutely soooo happy to have found them too. I've been a few x's since early June and am always treated with the most respect and appreciation for my business.  I've had gel nails 2x and each time they've lasted 14 days.  Even their regular manicures last almost a full 7 days b/c they don't water down their polishes + are incredibly detail-oriented when applying the polish to your nails.   Their pedicures are awesome!! They use hot towels + hot rocks to further enhance your pampering experience.  It's a fabulous treat!!Everyone there is super friendly and every service ends with a chair massage which is fabulous way to end your appointment!  Definitely make the switch!!There's a free parking lot adjacent to their bldg + convenient on-street parking along Berkely Rd which is currently in the process of getting repaved.
