I'm so disappointed by this place! I used to love them, but the last six months or so their quality has deteriorated. It started when this kid began doing my nails, and he would watch his girlfriend on a (hidden?) camera, and not pay attention to what he was doing to my nails. I always had issues with them... The last straw was when the gel polish started peeling off my acrylics within a week of having them done. Every single nail peeled... That's not normal! So I went back and asked the guy to repaint them. After he realized he filed too much off, he insisted i pay $18 for a fill because I wash my hands too much and the nails grew out too much... I had no choice but to let him refill my nails. After that I found a new place that does much better work and makes my nails look great. But today I went back to Happy, out of desperation of not being able to get into my new place, and I hoped Happy had gotten better. It did not. The new guy who did my nails today rushed the job. My nails look like I did them myself. The polish is bubbly or has dust particles in it... He let a piece of hair from his brush dry in the acrylic, the polish has ridges and feels tacky-- praying they don't peel again! They are uneven and have an awful shape and he cut them too short. Every time I tried to look at my nails while he was working, he would yank my hand back and put it on the table, as if he didn't want me to see... I love the Dipping Powder manicure. It easily lasts three full weeks & sometimes four! With the kind of work I do it's the only polish that protects & lasts. The Spa Pedicures are also wonderful. The employees do a great job. Read Less

I didn't get what I paid for. I paid for gel nails. Which was $50 for a full set with nail art. I enjoyed my tech he was entertaining but didn't finish my nails correctly. I enjoyed my time there with my two girlfriends who also got their nails done. The place looks great and is really clean and that's what the 2 stars are for. We were the last ones seen last Saturday. But right at the end I felt rushed. My tech started off right. He put gel on as the base. And I used the light machine to seal it. But to finish it he used clear polish which was not right. He told me that was how they finish off all their gel nails Which I know to be incorrect as I have had gel nails many times over the years. I have no idea what shape they where some seem to have an egg shape some where lumpy I wanted a coffin shape.. I'm from out of town and here for work and needed a "treat yo self" day. I got a pedi and pink and white. The girl who did my pedi was awesome. She was so nice and really attentive to detail. Another girl who did my pink and white was AWFUL. The pink was actually clear and you could see the tips of my nails under them. I explained to her I did not like it and she gave me a nasty attitude and told me it was like that because my nails were gross! I'm very conscious of my nails and there was not a spec of dirt under them. To fix my problem, I asked her to paint them a solid color. When she finished painting them, I noticed it looked like the nails were done a week ago and looked grown out! Not to mention she would leave me for 30 minutes at a time to give another person a pedicure while another technician sat next to her doing nothing! She gave the worst customer service I've ever had in my life. I HIGH RECOMMEND NEVER COMING HERE. I spent $96 dollars to be unhappy with my nails. Read Less

I have been happily going to Happy Nails for 2+ years and think the owners are fabulous. Unfortunately they went out of the country and left the shop to a whackadoodle manager that doesn't understand what you're asking for and then throws a fit when you try to explain the same thing in different ways and promptly refuses service to you after butchering your nails. The guy doing my nails also LAUGHED at me when he told me what she said. I'm told the owners are going to be gone for several months and ultimately that means I'm going to have to find a new shop. It was my very first time visiting here. I came in at 9:30 and left out around 10:40. I gotten a pedicure, gel nails with art design, and waxing of eyebrows, lips and chin. All costing me $80. If i coulf give no stars i would. Went to get my nails done here and told the lady i wanted short almond shaped nails she gave long stiletto nails and none of them were straight when i told her about it another lady came over and said its you nail so your telling me my nails grow crooked no its your finger oh so now my fingers are crooked? She didnt know what to say then told me will if you dont like them youll have to soak them off and go somewhere else i got up and walked out i workes in a nail salon and have been getting my nails done since i was 13 and im very picky about my nails and i told the girl before she even stated.i ended up going to get them fix some where else i will post a picture of what they gave me and what they look like after getting them fixed Read Less

My sister was just in there earlier for a pedicure and she told him the water was too hot. He turned the water on again but it was the hot and not the cold and scalded her foot. Which is bad enough . But he wouldn't take responsibility for it. Kept insisting he turned on the cold then a girl came over she talked to him and told my sister it was cold water. I usually have a good experience here with all the nail techs (more good than bad). Some techs are better than others, but I always go as a walk-in and have never requested a certain tech by name; however, in the last month or so there has been a new tech. He's done my nails twice. It's a horrible experience with him. He's nicked me (brought blood) both times and burned my skin with the tool. This last time I got a full set and told him wanted round nails. He made them square. I asked for round nails a second time and ended up with some round, some square with round edges, and some square. Super annoyed when I left. Shaped my nails when I got home. Never having the new tech do my nails again. Wouldn't recommend him unless you have a high pain tolerance and low expectations. Everyone else is pretty good. Read Less

I have been coming all summer for fill ins and gel polish with Charlie and have been extremely happy. I made an appointment for this past Saturday with Charlie for a fill in and pedicure and was passed off to someone else for my pedicure. In hind sight I should have NEVER agreed, but I did since I was sitting in the chair with me feet already in the water. I did ask if they were as good as Charlie and was assured they were. When we left the pedicure looked okay, but upon removing the toe separators, I was able to see that the edges were not polished at all, my big toes were very uneven and rough and there were spots that were not polished on the sides and corners and there was polish all over my skin. Definitely pays to put on your glasses and examine closely before leaving. While I am happy with my nails that Charlie did I am very disappointed in my pedicure. I guess it doesn't pay to be a repeat customer that makes an appointment and is specific about who they want either since I was shuffled off to someone else.  Don't know how to add a pictures or I would. If you want to get an awesome pedicure, this is the place to go. They do the whole nine yards. Get all the nasty dead skin off your feet, trim your toenails & cuticles around each of them. After your feet alternate soaking a bit & you get a full upper body massage from there fantastic massage chairs ( I've been to a lot of nail places, I hate when you sit in the massage chairs for a pedi & you can barely feel the rollers or even worse....when the chair is broke all together. That will never be a problem here.) Then comes my favorite part! They put paraffin wax in bags and dip your feet into them multiple times. When they remove the wax they give you a great (mid calf to foot) leg massage. Its like absolute HEAVEN. Once all of the pampering is complete they paint your toenails and send you on your way with a smile on your face and great looking feet. Who could ask for anything more? Read Less

Worst costumer service....doesn't matter if you have an appointment made weeks before, they will always prioritize walk-ins and leave you waiting on your chair for long periods of time. If you say something they would recommend you not to go on a weekend if you want your nails to be done, even though you had an appointment made weeks in advance. UNBELIEVABLY BAD experience! We made an appointment 2 weeks ago for me and my 2 girls to have nails done before my wedding. We arrived early. They seated us and ignored us for 20 minutes as they took walk ins and persons with later appointments. I spoke gently with one of the men who worked there as we were pressed for time. He was very nice and actually thanked us for handling it so kindly. Then, out of no where, came a lady who assume owned the place and was so awful to us! She told us how getting our nails done couldn't be done today. I explained what had happened, making our appointments weeks early and even being early and the subsequent parade of customers after us. Her only explanation was "you should come in the morning and don't come on a weekend then!"  We were shocked! We explained to her how customer service works and how she should keep up with the appointments done weeks before. She continue making up excuses on any option suggested to a least get something close to what I made the appointment for, but nothing was doable for her, then we insisted on paying for what little service we got and left!
