Overall I'm not disappointed. I got what I expected from almost any salon. My usual salon is now a 30 minute drive from me, so my first time trying a new one out in the area!

Overall I'm not disappointed. I got what I expected from almost any salon. My usual salon is now a 30 minute drive from me, so my first time trying a new one out in the area!
Staff is non-interactive, except Sandy (which I had read much about on previous reviews). My questions were redirected for Sandy to answer.
Sandy was very informative on each of their offers. If she gets the wrong customer, she may offend some people or seem pushy or interfering of personal space and peace of mind lol. I know myself as a mother of Being a small business owner myself, I understand her sales ethic and "pushinees" (what others call it). She did say I need to try her facials (which I expected, as another previous customer mentioned she did it to them and they felt offended). Again, shes just trying to make money. I get it! I wasnt offended. I kind of giggled. I'm sure she gets commission off each one, being shes the one who does them! Also being a mother with multiple kids and a business owner, if I get out to the salon once a month, the last thing I want to do is try to be hustled by someone or someone ask personal questions. Im there to relax! Sandy did ask my daughter lots of personal questions. If I hadn't been sitting right there and had I not read previous reviews to prepare for her sales personality, I may have lost my lid. I'm very protective of my kids, and an adult doesn't belong trying to personally-socialize with children.
Pumice bars came out of the pack, but the pack was open, so whether they were really new or not, I'm not sure. I hope so. Sharing dead skin is disgusting.
Tools came out of the drawers, which I'm assuming meant they were already sanitized. Though after finished with my pedicure, I'm certain they were wiped off and put back in the drawer, not disinfected.
Air condition was broke prior to arriving. Luckily it was a cool day! The Mr. Fix it guy arrived to work on it while I was there actually.
Gloves were new on staff for our pedicures.
Tips-they press you to "bring cash next time". They do not want tips on credit cards...strange!
Prices are very high. Coming from an inner city salon, prices were $35 for a pedicure which included everything this salon does, plus the paraffin, several scrubs, callus removal, dead skin removal and polish, and hot towels. So basically LA SPA NAILS charges you for anything more than pushing your cuticles back and removing some dead skin around your nails, trimming nails, filing nails and maybe they put lotion on after a basic pedicure?
I do feel they didn't not pay close attention to new polish and removal of old polish. I had to mention to the gentleman that he missed polish (midnight blue) on every single toe (a very light blue was going to be the new polish color). He said he would take care of it at the end. He took most if it off at the end, but still missed some. My daughter had clear coat and her color all around her skin. My pet peeve with salons, you have to paint to the edges! And the gentleman did not. He missed the edges of my big toes. Two of my daughters toes, the tips had big spots that looked like they needed a 2nd coat and weren't painted all the way to the tip. Her toes are tiny, so maybe it was hard to see. Or maybe they need better lighting. It is very dim inside, aside if the blue LED lighting. They need natural light or a brighter white lighting so they can see what's going on, possibly? When I got home, I finished getting the dead skin and extra cuticle off my toes....my total was $80 for two pedicures. We were suppose to get the sea salt instead of the sugar scrub, as I first mentioned we have sensitive skin.
So as I said, I got what I expected. Im not impressed, but I'm also not extremely surprised or disappointed. I have never been impressed with any salon, except my old "regular salon." I may just have to make that 30 minute drive now and again! We shall see. If I have to I will return to LA SPA NAILS, as it's not too different from any other salon. Maybe in the future I will notice something that sets them apart from the rest!

Went in for a full set was not impressed. My nails are lifting already after 3 days. The acrylic is on my skin, They charged me for gel and I got acrylic, wanted a polish change on my toes to match but they didn’t write it down so the tech didn’t know... nor did he seem happy to do it. And the “tech” was not only unfriendly but a bit rough. He dug the nipper into the meat of my finger when trimming my natural nail and was rough worn the file when doing my polish change. When I called to see if they would fix the acrylic they said only if I had my receipt... u have my information in your computers I shouldn’t have to keep that. Idk if I will ever go back.

I have always gone to LA Nails for my pedicures. I always used Stephanie and Si and never had a bad experience. Today I had someone named Sandy. She started by saying how long my toes were. I am sorry my toes don't meet with her approval. She then was filing my toenails while hitting my other toes with the file and making them sore and bending my big toe in directions it doesn't move. She used the cuticle nipper and took a chunk out of my toe which hurt like anything and her response was, "I'm sorry, it's ok." I said, "It is NOT okay, this is supposed to be a relaxing experience and it hurts like hell." All of this was witnessed by my cousin and your employee Linda, who was very nice. I got through it, very unrelaxed for fear it would happen again. When it was over, she wiped my toes down with some sort of alcohol or acetone or something and when it hit my open cut, I just about hit the roof. I was never offered any kind of compensation, or discount or anything else. I was looking forward to this, saved up money for this and was very disappointed.

The atmosphere is nice but their products lack quality. Every time I get my nails done here they crack and break within the first week. When I went back they made them too thick I guess because they broke. The last woman who did my nails did not make them even or the shape I asked for. She also burned my nail beds and I literally had to pull away from her. I had to go home and file my nails myself. I am very disappointed in the quality for their prices.

Great personalized service, they cater to your every need. They accept credit debit cards, xFinity WiFi available, walk-ins are welcome. They are closed on Sundays during the winter, but will work them during summer.

Nail technician was meticulous about trimming and shaping my nails and gave me a very thorough foot massage. Technician that did my eyebrows was also very meticulous about trimming and tweezing my brows as well. Overall, I was very happy with the service and would definitely return!

My usual salon was booked so I went to L.A Nails. From the moment I walked in I felt rushed. The woman from the desk was rude and at one point she grabbed me by the arm to tell me where to go but she grabbed me so hard I could see her fingerprints! This is really what upset me but my nails also look nothing like what I showed the nail technician a picture of. Overall I was disappointed with the service and treatment that I received and recommend others to go elsewhere.

I used to go to this nail salon frequently because it was the closest one for me. That stopped abruptly when the woman who was doing my nails stopped looked right at me and goes "you have acne scars, you must get acne. I offer facials, you should get one". First, thanks for pointing out my acne, not that I'm self conscious of it or anything. Second, why the heck would I let you help me with my skin after you have been jerking my hand around forcefully to get my hand closer to you for the manicure. I'm sure the facial would have been just so relaxing. Drive a little farther. Or pay a little more. It's worth it.

I did and he never paid me. Try getting your nails done and not paying, see what happens but I would have to take him to small claims court to get a judgment and he still probably wouldn't pay.

Ask for Stephanie if you have never been there.

Bottom line- go elsewhere. My sister got married a few week ago, so my mom and I decided to take her for mani/pedis. Since I was not from the area, I basically just chose what was close by without researching. Bad decision.We made reservations and were welcomed quickly. That was one of the only positive things I have to say (oh, and one girl offered us box wine). They were super pushy about upgrades. No means no-- what don't you get about that? And when we said no, I feel like they were annoyed. Sorry, not sorry.I first had a pedicure and it was just okay-- nothing special, no massage (which was supposedly included). Then I got a manicure with gel-- I asked for clear coat with loose glitter graduation. The lady kept pushing me towards glitter polish and I kept telling her I wanted loose glitter. Finally another woman brought some over. And instead of applying it by sprinkling it on from a brush, she literally brushed it on. It was caked on and didn't look graduated-- it was more like a glitter tip (see my photo). She rushed it and caused my previous application to smear, making my nail appear jagged at the tip. When I pointed it out, she acted like she was fixing it but didn't actually do anything. I had to ask her AGAIN to file it down-- I just gave up after she barely fixed it. I didn't feel like she knew what she was doing. I've had gel applied MANY times from many different salons and when they use glitter, they buffer it afterwards and apply another coat so its smooth, and then polish it at the end with alcohol. She did none of these things.I paid too much money (oh, and they overcharged me by $10 which I didn't realize until after) for crappy nails which peeled off a week later. Yes, a week later-- when done right, I've had my gels last about 4 weeks. I feel like they just rushed us in and out of there-- they were more about making money than about doing a good job with the customers that they were taking care of. I usually feel pampered after going to get my nails done, but I just left annoyed.

Someone mentioned "bullied" and that's exactly how they make you feel there. It wasn't special or relaxing but tense. The bride's nails were just ok. My other daughter had a picture and it looked nothing like it. In fact looked like a ten year old did her manicure. I was also talked into gel tips and they are lumpy and bumpy and ugly! So disappointed as mother of the bride to have these! Not even two weeks and one nail fell off already. And it was 54 dollars just for those. Listen to the reviews and stay far far away!!!! Rude and inexperienced!!!!!!

I went there on a monday night and got my nails done because I got a giftcard for christmas. I decided to try something new and get a full set of gel solar nails. The lady Did my nails and the bill came out to $55 which I thought was pretty pricey. A couple days later on thursday I noticed at work 5 of my nails were coming off. ONLY FOUR DAYS LATER. I had to go back so I went back on a saturday and showed them my recite. The same lady I got before fixed my nails. The whole time while she was fixing my nails she was on her phone. She was on her phone the whole time she was fixing my nails and it was a personal call which was very fustratinfrustrating because she cut my pinky finger. She finished I left. A couple days later another nail is coming off. she did a horrible job and I won't be coming back.

Stopped by here on a whim with my best friend. Just went for a manicure. The technician suggested using gel instead of regular polish. I had to ask more than once to cut my nails shorter, then they were not shaped properly. She attempted to put the gel on twice and it didn't adhere to my nails so she took "most" of it off but not all. She finally changed bottles and it took, but I had gel under my nails and polish all over my fingers. The hand massage was less than 3 minutes. Absolutely the worst AND most expensive manicure I've ever had. Will not return.

My sister in law and I went here for pedis. The nail girl bullied me into getting a mani as well. However four days later my sister in laws toes are chipped and my mani looks like I had it done a month ago. To pay all this money for our nails to look nice and to have it not even last a week is just disappointing, Add in that the nail girl was trying to up sell me and was not happy when I turned down the more expensive option, it was just not the relaxing experience we had hoped for from the day.

My usual salon was booked so I went to L.A Nails. From the moment I walked in I felt rushed. The woman from the desk was rude and at one point she grabbed me by the arm to tell me where to go but she grabbed me so hard I could see her fingerprints! This is really what upset me but my nails also look nothing like what I showed the nail technician a picture of. Overall I was disappointed with the service and treatment that I received and recommend others to go elsewhere.

I used to go to this nail salon frequently because it was the closest one for me. That stopped abruptly when the woman who was doing my nails stopped looked right at me and goes "you have acne scars, you must get acne. I offer facials, you should get one". First, thanks for pointing out my acne, not that I'm self conscious of it or anything. Second, why the heck would I let you help me with my skin after you have been jerking my hand around forcefully to get my hand closer to you for the manicure. I'm sure the facial would have been just so relaxing. Drive a little farther. Or pay a little more. It's worth it.

I had to pick a star but I wouldn't have. I am a window cleaner and was cleaning the windows at another business when the owner came over and asked if I would clean his windows. I did and he never paid me. Try getting your nails done and not paying, see what happens but I would have to take him to small claims court to get a judgment and he still probably wouldn't pay.

I 'm going to find a new place that is HONEST about there prices!!

I had the best pedicure by Stephanie...she did an awesome job, was friendly and even offered me something to drink besides the water I brought (never ONCE, did someone offer me a drink over the years I went there) she did up sell the pedicure by suggesting a sugar scrub and gel french (was told the last time i was there that i could only get color in gel) but didn't feel pressured at all!! Ask for Stephanie if you have never been there.

Bottom line- go elsewhere. My sister got married a few week ago, so my mom and I decided to take her for mani/pedis. Since I was not from the area, I basically just chose what was close by without researching. Bad decision.We made reservations and were welcomed quickly. That was one of the only positive things I have to say (oh, and one girl offered us box wine). They were super pushy about upgrades. No means no-- what don't you get about that? And when we said no, I feel like they were annoyed. Sorry, not sorry.I first had a pedicure and it was just okay-- nothing special, no massage (which was supposedly included). Then I got a manicure with gel-- I asked for clear coat with loose glitter graduation. The lady kept pushing me towards glitter polish and I kept telling her I wanted loose glitter. Finally another woman brought some over. And instead of applying it by sprinkling it on from a brush, she literally brushed it on. It was caked on and didn't look graduated-- it was more like a glitter tip (see my photo). She rushed it and caused my previous application to smear, making my nail appear jagged at the tip. When I pointed it out, she acted like she was fixing it but didn't actually do anything. I had to ask her AGAIN to file it down-- I just gave up after she barely fixed it. I didn't feel like she knew what she was doing. I've had gel applied MANY times from many different salons and when they use glitter, they buffer it afterwards and apply another coat so its smooth, and then polish it at the end with alcohol. She did none of these things.I paid too much money (oh, and they overcharged me by $10 which I didn't realize until after) for crappy nails which peeled off a week later. Yes, a week later-- when done right, I've had my gels last about 4 weeks. I feel like they just rushed us in and out of there-- they were more about making money than about doing a good job with the customers that they were taking care of. I usually feel pampered after going to get my nails done, but I just left annoyed.

My daughter's and I went to get pedicures and manicures for her wedding in the area. We are not from that area and should've listened to bad reviews! Someone mentioned "bullied" and that's exactly how they make you feel there. It wasn't special or relaxing but tense. The bride's nails were just ok. My other daughter had a picture and it looked nothing like it. In fact looked like a ten year old did her manicure. I was also talked into gel tips and they are lumpy and bumpy and ugly! So disappointed as mother of the bride to have these! Not even two weeks and one nail fell off already. And it was 54 dollars just for those. Listen to the reviews and stay far far away!!!! Rude and inexperienced!!!!!!

I went there on a monday night and got my nails done because I got a giftcard for christmas. I decided to try something new and get a full set of gel solar nails. The lady Did my nails and the bill came out to $55 which I thought was pretty pricey. A couple days later on thursday I noticed at work 5 of my nails were coming off. ONLY FOUR DAYS LATER. I had to go back so I went back on a saturday and showed them my recite. The same lady I got before fixed my nails. The whole time while she was fixing my nails she was on her phone. She was on her phone the whole time she was fixing my nails and it was a personal call which was very fustratinfrustrating because she cut my pinky finger. She finished I left. A couple days later another nail is coming off. she did a horrible job and I won't be coming back.

Stopped by here on a whim with my best friend. Just went for a manicure. The technician suggested using gel instead of regular polish. I had to ask more than once to cut my nails shorter, then they were not shaped properly. She attempted to put the gel on twice and it didn't adhere to my nails so she took "most" of it off but not all. She finally changed bottles and it took, but I had gel under my nails and polish all over my fingers. The hand massage was less than 3 minutes. Absolutely the worst AND most expensive manicure I've ever had. Will not return.

My sister in law and I went here for pedis. The nail girl bullied me into getting a mani as well. However four days later my sister in laws toes are chipped and my mani looks like I had it done a month ago. To pay all this money for our nails to look nice and to have it not even last a week is just disappointing, Add in that the nail girl was trying to up sell me and was not happy when I turned down the more expensive option, it was just not the relaxing experience we had hoped for from the day.
