You call to make an appointment and they say they have a time available for you. When you show up for your appointment you are put in with the line of people who did not have an appointment. When they first opened I was a regular here and after a few bad experiences I went elsewhere. Today I thought I would give them another chance since my friend was in town and we both needed our nails done. I should have stayed away. As soon as we walked in we were rushed to pick out a color, so after glancing at all of them for not even 10 seconds I just picked one. When she asked if I liked the color it wasn’t anything like the swatch so I apologized and asked if I could pick another. Being rushed again I found one. She was so rough and didn’t even care if I jumped when she hit my skin. And she was obviously talking about me to the other workers when she blatantly said the shape of the nails I was getting several times. It made everyone in there uncomfortable. Just because you speak a different language it isn’t very hard to figure out. Then while one hand was being cured in the UV light she whipped her hair and she yelled at me and told me not to move my hand! I said your hair hit my nails and she grabbed my hand and “fixed” it. There are still dents. When she told me how much it was I handed her the money (and 20% tip) she RIPPED THE MONEY OUT OF MY HAND AND WALKED AWAY. If I would of acted that way to a client I would of lost my job as I also work in the beauty industry and do the SAME things you do and deal with difficult clients however I would never have acted the way she did. And I’m almost positive she is the owners wife. On top of that I have NEVER left a negative review ANYWHERE because I believe everyone has a bad day, but how she acted is unacceptable. Not sure why the reviews posted are more on the negative side but this place is your typical walk in nail salon.,They always have plenty of staff on hand and the majority have been working here for many years. During my visits, I have observed very friendly interactions between staff and customers.Prices are comparable to most of the salons I have visited.  The only suggestions I have overall, is to offer newer and fresher looking products to choose from.  Some of the nail polish bottles look as though it's time to visit the garbage can.   The reception area usually looks a little cluttered from the stacks of tattered magazines that have been flipped through way too many times and should pay the same visit to the trash.The Nail Bar is a convenient place to walk- in for a nicely done nail service.   Credit cards are accepted for services ,but cash only for the tip. I never have received such poor service in my life. My cuticles were bleeding, it was dingy inside the salon. I had an acrylic fill that popped off in the first week. I thought perhaps it was just a bad day, so went back for a gel manicure a few months later. The gel lasted ONE DAY. ONE DAY!! I returned to the salon and showed them a photo of my nail lifting off the next day at work. The man accused me of lying, and only offered to fix the one nail after I told him I would write a review that would reflect the terrible time I have had here. Slow technicians, raises prices, and isn't very clean. I wish that there would be newer nail polishes. They also seem to put less effort into manicures and pedicures and want to focus on clients with acrylics or gels. The nail polish are old and never, ever have newer colors. I have gone here many times for pedicures and have always had a great experience. This weekend I went for a pedicure and gel manicure, the pedicure looks great but the gel manicure was one of the worst I've ever had. It looked like a toddler painted my nails (polish on my skin, gaps between the polish and cuticle). The gel chipped the following day and I was able to easily peel the rest off. Waste of time and money. I recommend their pedicures but they haven't mastered the gel manicure yet. Read Less

By far the worst salon experience I have had in my life. When you walk in, they don't even say hello, they are just like "what you want" and you are already turned off by the experience. I witnessed this with everyone that came in! The tech would ask what they wanted, the person would respond, and they would all talk to reach other in their language like "ugh who wants this one?" Really truly awful customer service.I just went to get my acrylics soaked off and a gel manicure after. Surprise surprise, the tech couldn't understand what I was saying and was about to put another full set of acrylics on after I had just soaked them all off! She ruined my nails further by using the drill to smooth them. I had just had acyrlic nails taken off that were on and continuously filled for a long time. By the time she got to filing my nails, they were round instead of square round like I had asked for. But it was too late because they were already so short. She could have filed them my shape instead of not listening and doing what she wanted. They don't sanitize their tools either. She pulled out a "personal" box that literally was probably used on everyone and never sanitized. Most other salons I have been to will pull out a fresh packed set from the autoclave. This was a big sign saying this place is dirty.I had picked out just a basic black polish that they didn't have? I had to choose another color instead. Long story short, save your money and avoid this place! Go to T&T nails or drive to Pittsburgh! Your money will go further and won't look like you did it yourself. Read Less

The service varies from one tech to the next, and the very best tech is mediocre. Customer service is appalling. Given the limited options for decent spa services in this area, I would rather drive to Pittsburgh or spend $50 on a pedicure that looks like a $50 pedicure, as opposed to $25 for something that looks like I did it myself. Monday I came in with my sister and friend, there were two other women waiting already ahead of us, so waited out turn.. we literally sat there for an hour and a half watching them take multiple women (who just walked through the door) before us. so we walked out. today me and my friend made an appointment(I recommend doing if you go here) for 5:45, they took us within reasonable time. I went first with a male. he was very rude, he hurt my fingers multiple times. he didn't care at all. I wanted simple pointed nails, I even showed him a picture of the shape I would like. and when he was all finished my nails are very very short, all different sizes, and very unappealing. I didn't mention anything before I left, and I'm really regretting that now. my friend who had a woman do hers, were really nice and she got the same exact shape I wanted. but I'm going back tomorrow to see if they will fix it or give me my money back. very disappointed.. I went in for a pedi and tips. I was charged 75$ for mass attitude because I kept telling the man doing it they were uneven. They are still different lengths. They are sloppy and were not filed down properly along the cuticles. They are horrible. The paint is not even done well. Why are they still open? Read Less

DO NOT go here. Ive put up with this place for a year now because they are the only place open after I get off work. Tina insisted on taking off all of my nails and put a new full set on, shes done this a few times before and I said Okay. I got them done a week ago and 5 of the 10 are either chipped or broken on the edges. She does not take her time and the airbrushing definitely shows it. They all speak to each other in their language and dont make an attempt to talk to you which I find VERY rude!! Read Less
