Update April 2018. Things are much better here now. They got a handle on it and are now well organized. They seem to have trouble organizing and making appointments with people. One day I made an appointment and waited 1.5 hours. The next time I explained that I need the appointment at the time I make it for because I have other obligations before and after. So when I walked in they were all looking at each other like how are we going to accommodate all these people. So the guy there made two people that were sitting at the nail table get up and wait in the waiting area so I could get mine done. I felt bad for them it was not their fault. Anyway, the guy ended up doing my nails, apparently he must be the owner....he was flustered and he rushed so fast and one nail was missing the filling on one side ( I did not see this until I got home). It looked awful. I told him while I was getting them done that I was not getting any polish on them that I would just do them myself later on. I figured this would help them because they had so many people waiting. I also gave him a 10.00 tip. Now I am a person who is patient and willing to give the benefit of the doubt to anyone but when I got home and took a good look at the nails I was really pissed off. Read Less

Below is the text message I received from a nail tech I've been using for more than two years, just one hour before my scheduled appointment. I called her and she told me I was too picky. It's their way or the highway. They're not concerned with what you want. Maybe she had a buddy who needed their nails done so I got dumped. "Listen, it hasn't been a pleasure working with you and I'm going to be upfront and not waste your time but I will not be doing your nails anymore. My experience was positive. Got a basic manicure. My technician was gentle and very nice. The place is a bit cluttered and dated. Could use a good cleaning, decluttering and updated furnishings and signs. Not the best place I've been but certainly not the worst. Read Less

I would not recommend this place to anyone. The place is dirty and they do not sterilize ANYTHING   While trimming my cuticle they cut too close causing me to bleed and they put the tool back in the drawer without wiping them off or sterilizing them.  I went to a new nail salon to get a gel fill only to find out I DID NOT have gel nails. My daughter and I went here today for manicures and pedicures. She got gel overlay on her natural nails with nail art hand drawn on 6 nails. I requested my old acrylic set be taken off, and new acrylics applied, and gel polish applied on finger and toe nails - however, I requested a very very detailed and involved design and shape of nails. We arrived around 5:30pm. They closed at 8pm.. the woman doing my nails stayed until 9:30pm, an hour and a half after they actually closed, to finish and perfect these beautiful nails she did for me. Not only am I impressed with their service and pleasant attitude, but I am SO impressed and happy with the amazing and stunning nails that she created. They are one of a kind and and a work of art. This place has REALLY went downhill!  I gave it two tries and I am still disappointed. I get the gel manicure which is supposed to last up to two weeks... which it has when I got them done in Texas prior to moving back. I got my gel manicure done on December 22, 2016 a couple hours before they closed.  By the time Saturday December 24, 2016 got here, two of my nails chipped. I went in on Tuesday December 27, 2016 and 5 had almost NO polish left. I nicely asked for them to fix my nails (they DO cost $30) and got the run around. The older woman asked me if I wanted a different color, so I said sure. I pick a color and she sits me down and says that she can do the same color, no charge. If I get a new color, she will charge me $30 again. Still being nice, I say accept the same color because I just spent $30 5 nights ago.  I also explained that I just want the nails fixed because they look terrible.  She fixes the polish and I give her a tip since she did not originally do my nails, Helen did them initially.This morning (December 28, 2016)... two nails have the polish chipping off. I get gel manicures often and they never peel this quickly. I would not recommend Hollywood Nails to anyone. They not only use cheap gel polish but they do not like having to fix a mistake. My thought process was why offer a color change if you expect me to pay again?  I would suggest that they invest in the Shellac brand because whatever they use is NOT working! Read Less

I said very specifically don't make my eyebrows too thin.  The lady laughed.  I should have just backed out then. I said it again.  I am not kidding.  And showed her how I wanted them done.  I was super specific.  I walked out of there with brows not much bigger than string.  Wide set over plucked, awful looking. Worst place never again, go somewhere else. Nail technician if you can call him that did not even speak to me .crummy job wirh french manicure. No ventilation my lungs hurt when I left. Hate to even pay for this still have dead skin on my heals I have to go home to finish the job then  he sat me under a naol dryer that didn't work. Nice NOT Read Less

I'm pretty sure I received the worst UV Gel manicure since the technique was invented. I'm in town on business and thought stopping in this salon would be a great use of my free time. Wow! I made a bad decision. The salon was a little dirty, shabby and run down. The nail tech did not seem to know the required dry time under the UV lamp between coats. Skip forward two hours later- my mani is sticky, messy with uneven polish application (she stopped at 6 coats) and way too much gel on my cuticles. I complained and she corrected only two nails and then told me to go home. She clearly has given up. She only charged me for basic manicure  - which was appreciated. However five hours later my nails are still sticky and two pealed off completely. I'm here for business meetings. I don't have all the supplies needed to DIY here in my hotel room. I wasted my time and money just to look ridiculous. Read Less
