Came here 2 weeks ago right before vacation. There were 5 of us total and none of us were happy. My friend’s daughter’s gel started peeling as she walked out the door. My acrylic broke off my one nail within a week. I’ve gone 4 weeks without any acrylic popping off when I go to my normal salon. Felt very rushed even though we made an appointment days prior. Sloppy work, pandering owners who know nothing about quality, disgusting health regulations, zero consistency, and never a bargain price. I gave this place multiple chances because of the location and nail system availability i prefer. Never going back again, they officially lost my business after they scoffed at me for an 8 dollar tip on a terrible nail job that i tried to communicate. Every request was responded to with an excuse not to do better work. Every time I come here it’s the same thing & it’s my fault that I’ve given this spot so many chances. They cater to customers they know have a lot of money and they treat their staff like factory workers... let alone the customers paying good money for services - they just hurd them like cattle. It’s a constant Revolving door with employees who barely know the minimum to be considered certified. Sometimes you get someone who doesn’t know what they’re doing but usually you don’t and so you usually end up with a botched service. I'm not from this area but I was looking for a pedicure. I'm used to the standard $15 philly ones that have you in an out like an assembly line but this was 10000x better. First off let me mention I'm 9 months preggers and yet I still had an amazing experience (my hormonal ladies already know). Anyway I got the spa pedicure ($38) and omg the calf message plus the attention and care she gave my feet were amazing. I forgot I even went to get my nails painted it felt so good. When I was finished I got a shoulder message while my feet dried and it just made me feel like a princess. I will be back and bringing my mom because this was literally spa like. P.S another thing that just made me really love this place was my bf was sitting by the door while I was back at the chairs. Tom & Nancy are always accommodating, whether you're a long time customer or a first timer. Today (Sunday) I stopped in much overdue for a mani cleanup. Thinking they closed at 6:00, I stopped in at 5:20. Even though the shop was practically closed since they in fact closed at 5:30. Tom happily yes and let all his employees leave and gave me a mani himself. He took his time, we had a nice chat, gave me a great mani, and even though it was 20 mins past closing at that point Tom insisted on giving me a shoulder massage as if he was in no rush at all. I have been going to Hot Green Tea for years and sadly after yesterday will never go back. The way in which Tom (the owner/manager) treats his employees is so far beyond appalling. Yesterday I witnessed him screaming at one of the young girls all over a mistake I made. I misunderstood a nail color that she said and it turned into a huge blowout with him acting like a crazy person and the young girl quitting. Despite the wonderful women and Gary that work there I will never give Tom my business again. I refuse to support someone who treats his workers and women in that manner. I've been coming to Green Tea for four years, mostly for pedicures but the occasional manicure as well. I obviously liked the experience if I kept coming back, but lately I haven't been so satisfied. Yesterday I went for a pedicure and the woman working with me gestured toward my face and asked "what happened?" As if I wasn't already self-conscious enough about my skin that hasn't been so great lately.. I stumbled through a response I think. What did she want me to say? "It's a pimple and I have a bad habit of picking." HERE'S A TIP: if you're in any kind of customer-service related job, especially where part of your job is to make the customer feel relaxed and rejuvenated even if it's just for a half hour pedicure, don't draw attention to her flaws and make her feel badly about herself! So that just made me feel awkward and bad about my appearance. I think I was also asked once when I went there while pregnant if I was having twins. No, no twins here, guess I just look enormous?Their debit/credit card policy is unclear. There's some kind of minimum that you have to spend, but what exactly it is, I couldn't tell you, and it's not clearly stated on a sign or anything. I typically don't have much (or any) cash on me and use my debit card for everything. When I went in July I had $10 off, so the $25 regular pedicure was only $15, but I was told I couldn't use my card. Luckily I had some cash on me.I will probably be back but I will also consider going to other nail salons if the customer service or value are better. I've gone here a few times and every time has been wonderful but this last time was especially great. I'm 38 weeks pregnant and I feel they went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and relaxed. The foot massage during the pedicure seemed a little longer this time which was exactly what I needed. My gel manicure looks flawless and the back/shoulder massage was amazing! I love this place! The staff is great and the quality of work is top notch. I'm really loving the new healthy nail/powder versus the gel and tips I was getting. No uv light and much nicer on my real nails. I can't say enough good things about this nail salon. It's always been easy to use my card for $10 off after so many visits. First time at this nail salon. Walked in on a Sunday and the place was packed. $35.00 for a mani-pediThe good - Great pedicure chairs. Included a 10 minute foot massage that was probably one of the best I've had. It's clear that people come here for the massage. You can pay $18 extra for a 30 min add on foot massage. The manicure included a paraffin wax dip which is nice. They also gave you a quick back rub while your nails dried. The not so good- most of the technicians do not speak English. The manager/owner yells across the salon in their language which can be startling if you are trying to relax. It was downright chaotic at some points. The person doing my toes was able to do the design I requested because it wasn't their design. She tried and it looked nothing like the photo I brought in. This created an uncomfortable feeling. Surprisingly this happened to another person while I was sitting getting my nails done. Designs are not a forte in this salon. The person who does your nails and toes are two separate people. When j tipped the nail girl $3.00 on the $10 manicure she reacted the tip was to small. I told her I was also tipping the pedicure technical and her response was, "you pay me" I walked by to my pedicure technician and have her $5.00. I can tip how and who I see appropriate.I would say that I wouldn't be back, but the foot massage was so great! I think I would go back only for a pedicure and ask for nothing extra. Read Less

I was very disappointed in the service at Green Tea. I did not have a good experience during my first visit, when they cut the side of my finger and tried to brush it off like nothing happened. However, I decided to give them another chance..this time a pedi. I am sad to say I was extremely disappointed again. My nails were left streaky and when I asked for another coat they were less them willing to do so. I had to point out and explain to them, even though the ladies around me pointed it out to me.
