This salon is extremely clean, well decorated and smells fresh like a Lush store. Stopped in for a gel manicure with no appointment, was taken right away. Great pedicure for average price. They were able to fit me in the schedule with little notice. Marginal color selection - I will bring my own next time. Modern atmosphere and very clean. My daughter and I stopped in as a birthday surprise for her- she’s 11. We were both blow away with not only how incredibly clean the place was, but how amazing the staff was! I was taken to Manicure Lane by friends to mark the end of my third pregnancy. It was clean, the staff is very friendly and we had a nice time. Unfortunately, my toes were cut several times while she used clippers to trim my cuticles and dry skin. I now have several infected spots on three different toes that I have to watch (along with my doctor) and my husband has to care for since I can't really reach them at 37 weeks pregnant. Now, my feet are swollen and really sore :( N...ot exactly what I wanted to deal with at the end of pregnancy. I also had my service upgraded by one of my girlfriends in hopes of getting a good foot massage, but the massage lasted for about ten seconds on each foot and was definitely not worth the extra money. I strongly suggest not upgrading your service and asking them to use the file to take off dry skin, not clippers. She was very apologetic when she realized one of my toes was gushing blood and her response would prompt me to go back if I was in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way to return to the salon. I've been going to Manicure Lane for 1 year now, and my daughters and I love it! Their staff is extremely friendly and they always do a wonderful job. For those of you that gave this salon 1 star because you couldn't get an appointment for the time/day that you wanted is just silly. This salon is very popular and they are courteous enough to not overbook their clients. Other salons overbook and tell their walk-in clients that it's a 10 min wait when it really is a 30+ minute wait....and then they rush through your nails. Completely disappointing experience. This salon was not a relaxing experience at all, which was what I was looking for. It was super busy and loud. The technician talked to me the entire time and voiced her views on politics and religion as well as dropping a few "f" bombs which was completely inappropriate. I did voice my concern to the person at the desk and they offered to get the manager but after waiting 30 minutes just for my appointment to start and then it taking more that two hours for a mani pedi because the technician wouldn't stop talking and concentrate on her task, I just wanted to get out of there. I am 35 years old and have gotten my nails done since I was 15. Manicure Lane is simply the best. The salon is clean and odor free. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Taryn is my go-to tech. She does a great job establishing a relationship with the client and personalizing the service based on how I am feeling and my upcoming agenda. The salon is clean and does not have an offensive glue odor as do most other places as they are all natural here. The staff are friendly and courteous- it is an enjoyable experience every time! This is the ONLY place that I will go! I moved to the area right around the same time they were opening last year. I had tried a few places but once I went to Manicure Lane, I have never gone anywhere else. The shop is clean and modern. The staff are all friendly and accommodating. I have referred many people as I am always getting positive remarks on my manicure and pedicure-compliments of Taryn! I have mixed emotions only giving three stars because most of the time the service is impeccable but the other times I end up to frustrated that I want to scream. I truly don't understands why we make an appointment when they don't hold up their end of the deal because they take too many walkins ahead of our set appointment and hen we have to wait. For example, today we made 2pm appointments for 2 people to get a manicure and pedicure. We raced to get here at 2pm, we were 5 minutes early and told that it would be a 20 minute wait?! Huh?! I look around the place and realize it is packed and 20 minutes was not going to get us into a chair. Also when they are so busy the quality of service drops tremendously, so now I am double disappointed because I know I am not going to be happy and pay a great deal of money not to be. Again, most of the time it is not like this but when it is I leaves such a bad impression on me. They have a beautiful and clean place however prices are pretty high especially when they don't do anything special. for example today my friend and I were there tand she got the "manicure lane" pedicure and I got the "theraputic" pedicure and there was no difference the girls did the same exact pedicure but mine was more money. Also they don't even massage your feet she rubbed the lotion on legs really quick and went right in to painting my toes. Not to mention she seemed li...ke she was annoyed to be working she was very short with me. Needless to say she was not tipped. If your going to spend you me money on a good pedicure I would go to floris in exton same style as this place however they massage you and take their time with you. Very clean, great staff. They do a great job with gel manicures and pedicures. However they do not massage hands, legs or feet for longer than 1 minute at most. I've been to other places that are cheaper and massage longer. Although this place is beautiful and clean, it's not a "spa" like feel. I decided to try a new place for a manicure and pedicure in Chester county.   It was a welcome surprise from the moment you walk in the door it is so relaxing with friendly staff at the front desk.   I made an after work appointment the day before.  It is open until 7.  The salon is beautifully decorated with tranquil colors of white and turquoise color scheme.  The pillows have "happy place" on them.  I had to wait a few extra minutes before my pedicure.   It was not an issue as I was directed to start soaking my feet for my pedicure.   The seats are comfortable although they do not recline you can remove the pillow and it has a remote for massaging.   My pedicure with thorough and relaxing.   The other nice feature of the salon is the fact manicures are done at the manicure bar.  Beverages are served and if you are a wine drinker, red or white wine.  Another highlight is the kid's menu for kids under 12.  I know my daughter will love it.   My preference is to return during the week or after work.  Other features free wi-fi and fume free.  The prices are pretty standard to other salons. I am literally obsessed with this salon! It is by far the most gorgeous salon I have ever gotten my nails done at (and I have tried many and am super picky). The staff is amazing and so welcoming!! They are on top of making sure all their customers are well taken care of, happy and comfortable! My gel nails stay way beyond two weeks without breaking and the pedicures last well over a month but I like going every four weeks since no one wants long toe nails obviously and the chairs are just so comfortable! I have been coming to this salon since the day they opened and have been there every two weeks since! I am beyond impressed and I wouldn't drive 30 minutes to get my nails done if it wasn't worth it and they absolutely make it worth it!! Thank you all! This salon truly is my happy place! I would truly give 0 stars if I could. Was looking forward to a nice relaxing time with mom and daughter. Needless to say it was anything but. We had 12:30 appts together for pedicure. We arrived at 12:20 and waited. Was then told did not have 3 chairs together. Seat my mom and daughter together and have me wait in the seating area. Have technician start with my mom at 12:30 and have my daughter soak next to her. No technician for my daughter. It is now 1pm and I just was seated, no technician. And after 30 mins technician is just starting on my daughter. Absolutely unacceptable. I told the gentleman that appears to be the manager that this was very disappointing and I am not happy.
