I tried the salon with a Keratin Groupon. Loved this Keratin type. My hair looks nice and smooth but not greasy leaving the salon. Lonnie trimmed my existing hair extensions into what I hoped they would always look like and curled the hair. Beautiful curls and waves. They definitely have a new customer. I had the bayalge treatment done with Kelly she is awesome and knows what she is doing. Would def return for her! Salon is beautifully set up and staff is friendly. My feedback would be to clearly put what is included in the groupon. I did have to pay extra for toner which I would normally assume is included in a color treatment. I also wanted to mention that I did have some trouble with scheduling the appointment, I had an appointment with someone then the person left so I was rescheduled (which was a blessing bc I got Kelly).. Location was very easy to spot within a shopping center with plenty to do. The manor was very chic inside with about three levels. Be prepared to go up some steps. Atmosphere was very nice with wireless speakers powered by alexa throughout the salon. Receptionist was nice to offer water/tea/coffee and to put away my coat if desired.  Amiable stylist-  Armanee that can carry on conversations and is cordial. Would discuss the fine details and placement of the balayage and realistic expectations based on hair texture. I arrived at 11AM was out by 230PM. The only complaints I have is I wasn't aware of the additional charges with changing my base color darker- $125 for a full head color. I felt like I was being experimented on when my stylist would have a few other stylists for advice. I have mentioned to the stylist I would want the balayage to be effective and noticeable, however, in the end, I didn't think it was but that can be subjective. Lastly, encounter a very pestering experience when making a payment. Receptionist would manually type your card numbers in since the swipe would work maybe "10% of the time" & no chip of course. Their billing software kept on timing out and automatically reversing transactions, so another 30 mins wasted. states payment posted and transaction closed, then called 3 hours later that the problem is fixed and payment was never processed. All in all, I was told that I might need to come in person the next day to pay by check / cash. It was resolve with another payment over the phone then receipt was finally emailed 2 hours later. My hairdresser was absolutely careless and insensitive. I showed him a picture of what I wanted and he barely looked or clarified anything with me before he cut my hair. My hair is much longer on just the one side and much shorter than I had asked for and when I told him I was not happy and pointed out the length difference with my cut he got defensive. I used Gloss Salon for hair and makeup for my wedding on 9/23/17. I worked with Marty to coordinate everything and she was nothing short of AMAZING!! We had several consultations and she made me feel super comfortable. Marty really listened to my style preference and offered her suggestions on what would look good. During my hair trial, she worked for several hours to make sure my hair was exactly the way I wanted it for my wedding day. I had a makeup trial, too. Unfortunatel...y, the makeup artist who was supposed to do my makeup on my wedding day had a family member pass the week of my wedding and would not be able to do my makeup on my wedding day. Marty let me know right away and let me have another makeup trial with a new makeup artist, free of charge! The day of my wedding, my bridesmaids (9 of them), my mother and I all got our hair and makeup done. The entire third floor was blocked off for my wedding party. Marty made sure everything was organized for a smooth and fun morning at the salon. We were able to bring food and drinks, too! I have to give a shoutout to Marty for a beautiful cut and color. We started with the intent of a balayage, but ended up in the realm of corrective coloring. Marty worked with me for literally 6 hours to very gently process my hair twice so that it looked awesome. She stayed with me after the salon closed until 12:30AM...that is dedication. I also really appreciated that I was not told to come back again and pay for a second treatment - Marty ensured that I left happy the night I visited. I found gloss through groupon. I hadn't cut or colored my hair in over three years, so I was nervous about messing with it. I bit the bullet and made an appointment. I was scheduled with Marty. Let me tell you, she was GREAT. Once I mentioned how long it had been since I had done anything to my hair, she made me feel extra special. She was very easy to talk to and it seemed like she was just as excited as I was. She is very knowledgeable and helpful. I would recommend this salon and Marty specifically to anyone and everyone. I am so glad I discovered Gloss and my new favorite colorist, Sam! I have been trying to get the "right" blonde for YEARS and was losing all hope that I could ever really get my vision realized. I gave Gloss a try and can say without hyperbole that my hair has never looked better. My blonde is bright, natural looking, and enhances my skin tone. I don't know how Sam does with other color shades, but if you are looking for a stand-out blonde you need to call and request her.STYLIST BEWARE: Don't take a vacation.
