My sister in law and myself are from New York and we came to Pennsylvania on a mini vacation to take our kids to the splash Lagoon. We decided to treat ourselves and get a massage. Came to sandcille for the first time last week to get eyelash extensions and I was more than happy with the results. The girl who did my eyelashes was so nice and did a fantastic job. I have never gotten eyelash extensions before and Sandcille exceeded my expectations. I also felt like mine looked better than friends I know who have gotten them from other salons. I thought for the time the girl spend on me the price was more than fair, it seemed like a very tedious job. Not only was the staff super kind but the salon was beautiful! I'm a pretty typical middle aged dad and my kids got me a massage for my birthday, which came as a total surprise. I had an amazing experience. The Spa itself is modern and comfortable and the staff was very welcoming. I had the 1 hour full body massage and it was simply amazing. What a luxurious, relaxing experience. As a Christmas present I treated my staff of 6 to facials, first time for all of us. Sandcille's made arrangements for my appointment first so I could visit with everyone, then they took 3 at a time. We were encouraged to bring some snacks & a beverage. What a great team building opportunity in a relaxed atmosphere. The facials were so wonderful we want to make this a regular experience. I was in for a gel manicure and it was probably one of the best manicures I've ever had. It looks fantastic and it has held up great over a very busy weekend. We did the pedicure with a 30 minute relaxation massage and it was wonderful! Karen did a great job on the pedicure with really pretty colors to choose from. Jessica is an amazing massage therapist as well. Thirty minutes was nice but I can't wait to go back and get the full 60 minute version. Highly recommend it! Nice job ladies! Read Less

This little spa for Erie I thought was quite impressive. I was in town for a wedding and needed my nails done. My shellac manicure is perfect. I left very very pleased. I told all my friends to go if they were looking for a new place. My nails are really sensitive so manicures aren't always the most enjoyable experience for me but this one was. The decor is gorgeous they really did a great job inside. I will say it's a bit pricy for Erie but then again your getting a very clean environment and a well trained nail tech. The waxing is exquisite! I sent all of my friends here. For Brazilians/bikinis. She uses an oil instead of baby powder and it leaves your skin super soft and hydrated. I did not like my pedi that I've gotten only once. The massage went up only hallway between my ankle and knee, it was more like a rub of lotion. And the girl want wearing shoes. I mean, I get it that your place is clean, but please put on your shoes cuz you don't know how many places my shoes have been and now they've walked all over your floor. The thing I love most about SandCille, besides the friendliness of the staff, is the level of cleanliness. I never have to worry about how well the pedicure tubs are cleaned or if the staff is using proper sanitation procedures with their tools. The pipe-free tubs and autoclave procedures ensure the highest degree of sterilization- think hospital operating room clean! The new facility in the Colony Plaza is gorgeous. Well I wanted to like this place - sure is pretty and clean - came here on my birthday after a really bad experience at another spa in ERie and my mani/pedi were cancelled 24 hours before my appointment. anyhow thought it was divine intervention to find this place - got a pedicure no time for a manicure that day.  Had the vinyl (better than gel I was told) and it lasted maybe 2 weeks at best.  I didn't call to talk to anyone yet actually went back for a manicure.  I know - I am a glutton for punishment I guess and I tipped 20% on top of it.  Manicure also vinyl or whatever they call it - didn't last more than I couple days and looked bad the next day.  Bad filing, cuticles and polish - liked the woman who did it -very sweet but I need someone who is good too.  Anyhow finally called in to talk to someone - about manicure only cause I am still hopeful and dumb I guess - they said to come in and they would redo mani - had something happen on the way there and had no cell phone and living out of a hotel so stopped at a drug store to call - after much ado got the number and called and they said ok and I asked fastest way to get there.  Drove very fast and was about 15 minutes late.  The owner was waiting and basically made me know that it wasn't ok.  Then grilled me on what color the vinyl was etc. basically making it clear that I was the bad client and it ended with her calling me a liar and saying she would do nothing to fix it.  Also was told that my pedicure was old and she would do nothing to fix that either. OK - 65 dollars down the tube and 20% on top.  Live and learn.  I went elsewhere in the plaza where this place is and heard some negative things about this woman and this place.  Where were you all before I went in? oh well - upside is I met a really wonderful woman who owns another salon and invited me to come in and see one of her stylists. There is a god. Mean girls suck especially when they own salons.  Maybe the owner should rethink her profession.  Proceed with caution at this place.Note to self - I do teach communication and this is one for the textbooks and what not to do if you are in a customer service industry which I have been in for 20 years plus.  I would have been fired from any one of my jobs had I acted like this lady.  Cruella DeVille comes to mind.  Yikes!PS. she told me she is friends with my brother... This is a small little spa on top of a jewelry store next to a salon.  I would not say the atmosphere is serene which is what I look for when I want to indulge at a spa but it seemed fun and I might come back for a manicure or pedicure.I had my brows waxed here and it was fine.  It wasn't the best brow job I had ever had  nor was it the worst.  I have pretty nice full natural brows and she went a bit thin and uneven.  The esthetician was super sweet though. I am so impressed with Sandcille. I like to get my feet pedicured with the full spa treatment, sometimes I am concerned with the tubs and whether or not they are clean. With Sandcille's wonderful technology I feel completely safe - they have such high standards. Their foot spas are "pipe-free" so when the water leaves it is not recycled.
