If you are into nails, meaning you know the hottest shapes, polish types and techniques, this place isn’t for you. If you know what I mean when I say: coffin shaped teal ombré matte with a chrome accent...this isn’t the place for you.
If you just need your average French manicure you can go to this salon and it should pass under low lighting.
If you need more than the standard purple scrub on your heels; go elsewhere.
They don’t have the identical traditional polish matches to their gel colour polish either; they basically just get as close as they can.
They aren’t that experienced and it shows. They rush a little and really don’t pay attention to details. I almost walked out without getting the polish on my toes because I KNEW I would have to go to my normal salon after to get an actual pedicure. They do have parking though if that’s a deal breaker for you and they do a great job massaging your partially pedicured feet.

Just got acrylics done and they are horrible I told the girl that the one was crooked and she never fixed it the acrylic is extremely uneven and she left all the glue and extra acrylic under my nail. One hand is longer then the other. I will not be coming here again and any one that’s new to the area I do not recommend coming here. Wish I knew this ahead of time.

The place seemed dirty and I did not see them bring over clean tools. At one point she dipped a tool in blue "sanitizing" water for a second. As for the pedicure, they did not remove the dry dead skin...
The place seemed dirty and I did not see them bring over clean tools. At one point she dipped a tool in blue "sanitizing" water for a second. As for the pedicure, they did not remove the dry dead skin on my feet! They look the same besides the polish on the nails. The 5 min massage was very nice but I would have rather them take care of the dead skin. I won't be going back.

They do a good job when the place is not busy. When it's busy they rush you too much. Some people might enjoy getting their manicure while getting their pedicure, I don't! The pulling of my arms from side to side is uncomfortable, plus for me getting my nails done should be a relaxing and comfortable time. Overall the place is nice and clean. I like Sami, she takes her time and does a good job.

Overall, this is a nice, clean salon with polite and efficient service. They generally do a good job. However, on Saturdays they seem to bring in extra staff some of whom seem extremely inexperienced. There is a young woman named Sarah for instance who is very timid and does not do a good job at all. Sometimes the owner brings what appears to be her middle school aged daughter and she works on clients as well and doesn't appear to have proper training either. They are nice but your feet will be in the same condition when you leave as they were when you arrived. They will run the file across your foot two or three times in a very timid manner and be done. If you get any of the other women here, they will do a great job for you. The salon always smells nice and is not over crowded. If it weren't for the poor experiences with the young girls, I would give the place 5 stars.

Some technicians do a really good job, but they never have enough of them. It's a nail salon not a spa! Why should you have to make an appointment every time ? I just don't get it. Be sure to make an appointment if you want to be seen. Prices are reasonable but still questionable for the type of service.

I really wanted to like this place... unfortunately despite scheduling an appointment, they took 5 walk-ins while I was there and never gave me the manicure I scheduled. After waiting half an hour to ask what was going on, they had the nerve to ask me to come back the next day? Absolutely not.

For nails this place is great, for wax be very careful I just had my eyebrows done and the Girl who did them destroy them 😢 And the worse thing is that she don't even apologize. What is wrong with saying that you are sorry ? I guess she is not sorry for destroying my eyebrows, ? I usually have them done with Clare but she was off today. Next time if you destroy someone's eyebrows can you at lease act like you care and at lease apologize ?

Sad to write this review because I wanted to find a good manicure since I am new to the area, however I won't be back. I got a gel manicure four days ago and it is already peeling off. The woman who did my nails took over an hour (normally it takes 30 minutes) and did not pay attention to detail.

I found this place in Yorktown Plaza via the great Yelp reviews. My experiences have been wonderful. When I sat down for my pedicure and they handed me a menu, I thought it was the greatest moment ever. I've had both the reflexology pedicure and the spa pedicure and they were both fantastic. The first time I came they gave me the gift of toe-less socks so that my feet wouldn't be cold in the 30 degree weather with flip flops. For my second visit I brought my mom, who is extremely particular, and she got a gel manicure, which she was thrilled with. They are absolutely fantastic; plus I love getting a back rub while my nails dry.

Very disappointing! The appointment I made was incorrectly logged on their book. So they told me I couldn't get the pedicure that I requested. They did manage to get the new set correct on the books, but the finish is bumpy. Not to mention the person (J.E.) who did my nails cheated me & didn't give me the chair massage with stones at the end of my service. Service at Julie's was horrible!

I am currently here and I am blown away. It's my first time and experienced great service. I thought I was going to get a regular pedicure compared to the place I usually get nails done but I was out with my girls and decided to get pampered. I had Kelly and she really payed attention to my pups. Even a small leg massage was very deep and pleasant. I did not feel rushed at all. Then again I came on a day that was slower during the week and snowing outside. She even gave a minute or two of a hot stone massage over clothing while my toes dried and a little by hand around the neck. It was not long but great for the price you pay.

This is one of the best kept secrets in the NE Philly/Montco area! The prices are reasonable, and the quality of service is incredible!The staff is friendly, fun and attentive; and the scheduling is also excellent! There is a huge selection of lovely, pampering services ranging from a quick mani (and/or) pedi, to waxing, to an all-day spa experience.My personal favorite is the green-tea pedicure. It's an all-encompassing pedicure (including treatment for callouses) that's pampering and still budget friendly!

I come here on a regular basis. The services of the staff are excellent. The place is so clean I've never seen anything like it. Their prices are very reasonable as well. I love Julie's Nail & Spa.

If you are into nails, meaning you know the hottest shapes, polish types and techniques, this place isn’t for you. If you know what I mean when I say: coffin shaped teal ombré matte with a chrome accent...this isn’t the place for you.

Just got acrylics done and they are horrible I told the girl that the one was crooked and she never fixed it the acrylic is extremely uneven and she left all the glue and extra acrylic under my nail. One hand is longer then the other. I will not be coming here again and any one that’s new to the area I do not recommend coming here. Wish I knew this ahead of time.

The 5 min massage was very nice but I would have rather them take care of the dead skin. I won't be going back.

I found this place in Yorktown Plaza via the great Yelp reviews. My experiences have been wonderful. When I sat down for my pedicure and they handed me a menu, I thought it was the greatest moment ever. I've had both the reflexology pedicure and the spa pedicure and they were both fantastic. The first time I came they gave me the gift of toe-less socks so that my feet wouldn't be cold in the 30 degree weather with flip flops. For my second visit I brought my mom, who is extremely particular, and she got a gel manicure, which she was thrilled with. They are absolutely fantastic; plus I love getting a back rub while my nails dry.

I am currently here and I am blown away. It's my first time and experienced great service. I thought I was going to get a regular pedicure compared to the place I usually get nails done but I was out with my girls and decided to get pampered.
