EXTREMELY disappointed with my experience. I was hoping to have a beautiful full set ready for prom but the manicurist didn't seem to know what he was doing whatsoever, as another employee was constantly checking up on his work and correcting his mistakes. A couple of my fingers bled because of filing to the skin, my nails are completely uneven comparing one hand to the other, and they had the audacity to charge me $40 even though it clearly says that a full set is $28. I am constantly hesitant with purchasing acrylics because of how fragile they make your natural nails, but now I feel like I have to get mine fixed because of how uneven the shaping is finger to finger. Im hoping to somehow get a refund because I could have gone to someplace else for cheaper for a better set. Read Less

My nails ended up looking like I already needed a fill in. The gel was clumped up under my and my friends nails. Pretty limited design choices. Also, I'm pretty sure my cuticle was sawed off with the sandpaper thingy. Overall, I'm definitely not going here again. Read Less

They did a great job on my gel manicure. Didn't wait at all. I had tony who took his time and really shaped my nails beautifully. No issues with clipping the cuticles as in other posts. The only reason they got 4 stars is its a little pricey. 30.00 for gel mani. Read Less

If I could rate I would not even give a star. Please don't go here very rude. Worst place ever I went to get my nails done had beautiful long nails of my own and she cut them all down to the bottom for me not to have any nails. Told her just to trim them not to butcher them. And had the nerve to tell me I didn't say that. Well maybe if she was not talking in a different language to the other manicurist she would have heard me. I ask her to do a specific design for me she said she don't know how. Never got my nails done because I was so upset. Had my own natural long nails for over 10 years and she just butchered them. 90.00 for a gel pedi and gel mani.. totally ripped off..will not EVER go back!!! My 2 girlfriends who were with me..over 90.00 as well but they got eyebrows done too. We all left shocked! No thanks there are better places near by that won't rip you off. Read Less

The worse experience ever. I was desperate for a pedicure. I tired Cali Nails because it was open on Sundays. I was turned off by my nail tech lady. I have a lot of cuticles which she hardly cut any off. Nail polish was over all over my skin. I paid $30 for such a horrible  quick job that I could have done at home. The workers did not know that I speak Vietnamese and decided to saying unkind things about me. Never again. Read Less

I went to get a French pedicure & as she was trimming them she cut my left big toe to short , as I told her what she did she applied pressure on it as it was bleeding which made it worse , then as I told her she said that it was how my nail was. I dont do my nails often but when I do this is the place I go to. There is no awkward moments and they try to speak english in front of you so you dont feel they talking about you. The staff is always nice and professional. Staff does a great job and the designs are amazing. I ruined one of my nails because it wasnt fully dried and they gladly did it again for me. Read Less

I honesty think I could have done a better job myself and the place is filthy.  My daughters jacket fell behind the pedi chair and when I picked it up I wanted to throw it away.  The drying stations looked like they haven't been dusted in months.  Maybe I just got a bad lady (appeared to be senior age) but I'd never come here again. It has been awhile for a pedicure and actually doing acrylics so I was a little scared, but Cali Nails did such a great job!! Great comfortable, clean atmosphere. Loved my pedicure, very relaxing. I would never recommend this place to anybody when I first walked in it took them at least 5 minutes to even approach me. By the time they sat me in the chair they left me soaking for 20 minutes before they even began doing my pedicure. The only good thing about my experience here was the lady that serviced me, but even in the beginning she was giving me attitude. She later apologized which took away a little of the sting but it should never have happened in the first place. My biggest issue was when I called the shop before I came in the lady told me it was $20 for a pedicure. When I came to pay they charged me $30 and I was highly upset about that. Also, apparently the staff is pretty rude and very unprofessional. Not impressed. I went to this salon because I want to get Gel nails but wanted to see how well they would do with just a regular Mani. I told the tech that I was thinking about getting Gel nails but not today. She kept trying to convince me to get them today. I haven't had a Mani in a couple of months and my nails were looking rough. The tech didn't spend much time at all on my cuticles-and they needed it!  She rushed through the service. She started applying the color and I asked if I should pay first. She assured me my nails would be fine and to pay after drying. After my hands were in the dryer for about 2-3 minutes, she comes over and puts lotion on my hands and rubs them with a hot washcloth. Needless to say, after 10 minutes under dryer I looked at them and both thumbs had rough dents- obviously from the washcloth. I do not understand the three bad reviews this place has. I have only been less than 5 times but am extremely impressed each time. They are gentle and humorous, and I feel very relaxed each time I come in. If anything seems like it is too hot, just ask and they will be more than happy to adjust it for you. Read Less

AWFUL! so terrible. Bad service, over priced, and poor quality work. I went recently with 2 friends for a pedicure. We had all been previously and had ok experiences however this time was enough to make me to never want to go back. I was the last one seated and the first one done with my pedicure. The man doing my pedicure spent 20 minutes with me (not nearly enough for a decent pedicure!!) The guy who did my pedicure didn't completely remove my old nail polish, barely scrubbed my feet, didn't wash off the gritty exfoliate lotion, and finally didn't even paint one of my toes completely. And when I pointed out my only half painted toes he fixed it (begrudgingly) and accused me of messing it up myself - I was still seated! Once my disappointingly short pedicure was done the man ran off to his computer/phone- apparently my service was interrupting his free time. Fast, friendly, & courteous service - but lacking on QUALITY. I got a full set of nails on Friday and they fell off today (Tuesday). I have never had nails ""fall"" off - let alone in 4 days!!. I am not an active person by any means, and I do not put stress on my nails. I spent a lot of $$$ for my nails (among other services) and it was not worth it in the end.
