I have been going to Henry and Nina and their staff for I think eight years. Never disappointed and they do a fantastic job. I have the pink and whites except for one nail. Left hand middle finger color represents a different support for the month. April will be colon cancer and the representative color is red. So I do pink and white on 9 nails and the color of the month on the left ring finger (there have been t.v. commercials about doing this in purple for domestic abuse). ...Then on the colored nail I do the breast cancer awareness loop in white. Henry NEVER complains about this one nail taking more time. And they are extremely fair (if not too low) priced. I just make sure I tip very well for the quality work they do. And if I break one during my next nail appointment they are very happy to repair (and at many fixes no charge). I used to go to a place where I have at least one nail broken every time and they were $60 a fill, $100 new set. I can't say enough about Signature nails....I LOVE THEM. The only good thing about this place is there is never anyone in there so it's nice and quiet and no wait times. However the reason there's no one in there is because they kinda suck and are overpriced. Also they only have 2 nail techs but that's probably because of the lack of business. For the amount they charge you could go around the corner and not only will they do a better job but they give you a glass of wine too (Serenity Nail Bar). Read Less

This tiny salon is right off of ridge like, next to a Burger King. I made a last minute appt, an hour before I wanted to come in, and it was no problem. I was actually the only person at the time, at 12pm on a Friday. The two ladies were super nice, and the one who spoke English made conversation with me while doing my nails. The place is very small, there are about five chairs for pedicures and maybe four chairs for nails. Iwent in for an SNS manicure and a regular pedicure. They were able to do both at the same time, in about one hour. At my normal salon, it takes me at least two hours. Even though it was super quick, I really felt like the ladies took their time and didn't rush anything. My pedicure had a leisurely massage, and they even redid two of my SNS nails that didn't come out perfect. And they did that without me even asking or saying a word about it. On my way out. They thanked me for coming in and said they hope to see me in a few weeks as well. Just two reasons for the four stars instead of five. The biggest one is that the reason I chose the salon was for the SNS manicure, because it's very hard to find in this area. And while they did a good job, there were only about ten colors to choose from and The vast majority of the colors were either very dark or very bright, there wasn't a lot of variety. The second reason is because they silently up sold me on a hot stone pedicure, when I asked for a regular pedicure. It was only five dollars extra, but I didnt ask for it. I gave this place a shot because it was open late. I am very disappointed with how my nails came out. They are not the shape I asked for, very uneven, and the top of my nails are bumpy looking. Not to mention I hate the color. I felt rushed to pick one out. They are still sticky. I just got home and I am already filing off the polish and trying to make them look better. Love Star Nails!  They are very accommodating and welcoming. I always make an appointment and they fit me in as soon as possible. So far I've gotten gel manis, pedis, and eyebrow waxing. I can't say a bad thing about any of the services. The nail area, pedicure chairs, and waxing area appear clean which is sometimes hard to come by with nail salons. They are open 7 days a week which makes it even more convenient. I'd definitely recommend Star Nails to anyone in the Conshohocken/Plymouth Meeting area! Read Less

I am a 28 yr old straight male and 3 other of my buddies went in tonight for a little TLC before his wedding tomorrow night.... I got the deluxe pedi with the added aloe jello treatment , freakin amazing!!! After , all the chairs were full so I got to stay in my massage chair for my mani... First time in this salon. Thought I'd give it a try.  I had gel refill and gel polish. Nails look nice in the end, but prices are on the higher side - even with 20% discount.  Felt rushed through my service, and not very attentive. For the price, I thought I'd get an hand and neck massage. Competition in area of higher level nail salon provides such service at no charge. I think they do a great job with their nail service. But I really don't like the fact that they do not post the prices anywhere. On Saturday I was there and got a gel fill. I also decided to get a pedicure after. I said that I wanted to get regular nail polish on my toes but she made the comment that I would be able to leave right away. Now, it was my fault to not ask how much extra it was. When I went to pay, she handed me my receipt for $90, I asked why it was so much. She ...said, $30 for the fill and $60 for the pedicure. $60 FOR A PEDICURE????? Really??? $40 for the pedicure, $10 for the gel polish and $10 for the design. Now, I take full responsibility for not asking a head of time but I feel like I was taken advantage of. This is not the first time I've had a fill and a pedicure but I have NEVER paid $90!
